‘RHOAS11’ Reunion Recap: NeNe’s Attitude Steals The Show Again

Visit link:

Source: Bravo / Getty Part two of the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion aired tonight and honestly, it should be the last episode to finally close out the season, but it’s not. There’s more next week. Anyway, tonight Andy rehashed more trite issues that we need to just let die. Anyway, NeNe’s negativity takes center stage again. Her attitude is heavy, and it’s affecting everyone else. Once again, Andy discusses her drama with Gregg. NeNe reveals that they are in therapy but when Gregg comes out later to give his side of the story, he said he wants to work things out with NeNe. Therapy is a good step, but NeNe says she’s not sure what she wants to do. That could just be her taking a dig at Gregg. You know how she likes to be so nasty and so rude when she feels attacked so this could be that. Let’s fast forward a bit because even Eva, Tanya, Porsha and Cynthia had moments where they explained that they were genuinely in NeNe’s corner and wanted to support her. NeNe said that none of them were her friends at all and that really seems to sting. Porsha is the first to bring that up in a seemingly heartfelt attempt to get NeNe to see that they are on her side. They also agree that NeNe pushes people away and it’s hurtful. NeNe, after all that was said, said she had nothing to say. Prior to Porsha’s plea, the only thing NeNe really had to say was that these women were just coming at her for clout. You know how she thinks she’s the Queen B, right? Yeah. So that’s that. Fun NeNe is entirely gone and we’re left with the egomaniac who treats people like trash. Eva brought up an interesting point too. She said NeNe is only cool with her when she acts like a lap dog. This is something that has definitely come up before with NeNe and other women. But that aside, we also know that NeNe does not do nice very well when she feels her life isn’t going well. That’s also what we’re seeing. It’s sad to see but it is what it is, and there will be even more next week. The big fallout is coming. F**k 12: White Cop Tells Black Middle Schoolers “Wait Until Your A$$es Turn 18, Then You’re Mine” [Video]

Source: Nia Noelle / Nia Noelle The Viral Video Causes Backlash & Demands From The Community A Virginia police officer let his racist feelings fly when interacting with some Black middle schoolers. According to New York Daily News , the unidentified White cop was slowly driving past the group of kids after they allegedly heckled him. That’s when the words came from his salty mouth: “Wait until your a$$es turn 18, then you’re mine.” The clip was recorded by 13-year-old Cameron Hillard and posted to Facebook by her mom Keisha Curry. The officer faced immediate backlash when the clip went viral with over 57,000 views. “I am disgusted and disappointed but not surprised that a white male officer would make a threat and use that tone or language towards a group of children,” Curry wrote in the video caption. “My child and her friends have to walk to their after school program and knowing that the police are making idle threats to them is unsettling.”   After all the backlash, the cop must now undergo remedial training, according to interim police chief William Smith. The officer has also been reassigned elsewhere in Richmond, Virginia. “I share the community’s concern with that incident,” Smith told the Richmond Times-Dispatch , saying that the comment was “inappropriate.” He continued, “His actions do not reflect the actions, the policies or the training that we have as an agency, and do not reflect the expectations that I have.” The disciplinary action concluded with an internal investigation of the cop, whose 15-year tenure has been marked by one other complaint. “He voluntarily requested to be given the opportunity to speak to and apologize to the parents,” Smith said in a statement from NBC News . “While these facts don’t minimize the incident, they do give you totality of the person.” Yea, whatever. Many parents still weren’t here for the BS. Ms. Curry complained, “Not letting the public know who the officer is doesn’t allow any other individuals the opportunity to speak out if they were mistreated by him before.” She continued: “ Everyone knows we didn’t want him fired based on this encounter, but how can this behavior be fully investigated by only doing an internal investigation, when the verbal threat was done in the community?” QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS.

Kodak Black Calls First Dibs On ‘Widowed’ Lauren London, T.I. Hints That He’ll Trap Muzikally Maul Him Into Dust Bunny Bits

Source: Mike Coppola / Getty Kodak Black Says He Will Give Lauren London “A Year” To Grieve Before He Shoots His Shot Florida river cricket Kodak Black is out here disrespecting the late-great Nipsey Hussle in the worst way. The rapper who was recently asked to submit DNA in his ongoing teen rape case , posted a video to his Instagram Live, showing him chopping it up with his boys and openly talking about Lauren London and his plan of giving her “a year” to grieve before he shoots his shot and tries to bag her. Black tells his friends that he’s willing to give her a whole year of “crying and s***” before he makes any potential moves on her. In the video , he calls Lauren “that baby” and a “whole widow out here,” while also joking that he’ll be the best man he can be to bag her next. “Lauren London dat baby though,” said Kodak. “She about to be out here single. She finna be a whole widow out here. I be the best man I could be for her. I give her a whole year, she might need a whole year to be crying and s***.” One of his friends asks if he’s shooting his shot, but he claims that he’s just being friendly, and wouldn’t mind being a shoulder for her to lean on and that she “can call my line.” Having only been a week since Nipsey was murdered, you would think Kodak would have a little more respect? Guess not. Instead, it looks like “heartbreak Kodak” has no regrets. 5 Budget-Friendly Festivals To Attend This Year If You Can’t Afford Coachella

Original post:

Source: Josh Brasted / Getty It’s that time of year again when major FOMO starts to kick in for every millennial who can’t afford to ball out and take a trip to Coachella. Curators bank on people’s fear of missing out on something cool and fun to drive ticket sells — and sadly, it works every time. “The Coachella fomo is already real and it hasn’t even started yet lmao”- @alyssayayyaa “Mentally preparing myself for the Coachella fomo I’m about to have next weekend…” _katethegreat When people your age are spending almost thousands of dollars to travel to a desert to party with “cool people”, wear dope, expensive gear (usually appropriating native american culture), it makes you think that you’re doing something totally wrong with your life. “Some of my friends are at Coachella, and most of my friends are at the Spring Game. Meanwhile, I slept for 10 hours.” @Mariahkoneke But how much is Coachella actually costing folks? As Gobankingrates.com pointed out, when considering attending Coachella, you might focus on the cost of passes, but you’ll also need to plan for the cost of food, drinks and lodging while at the festival. Lodging: Various nearby hotels offer festival packages. Prices include the hotel stay, shuttle service and passes for either two or four people and start at $2,445 for two people and go up to $7,899 for four people. Food: The cost of food and drinks will depend on the vendors you choose or if you opt to prepare your own meals. The most expensive food option is a four-course Outstanding in the Field dinner, made by the finest chefs, which is available for $225 per person. If you’re lucky, you can find passes on the low from $380-$500. And depending on whether or not you’re coming from out of states, those flights can be expensive as hell. Oh and don’t forget about the alcohol — that’s another bill in itself.  The people who have the money spare no expense on having a good time. But for the ones who don’t have it like that, don’t fret! There are plenty more affordable lituations that are just as dope as Coachella. Hit the flip for some budget-friendly festivals you can attend this year.

Sophia Hutchins: Caitlyn Jenner is an Amazing, Loving Partner!!

Rumor after rumor has claimed that Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia Hutchins are planning to marry . The reality is that neither of these gal pals have actually come forward to confirm that they’re officially dating. But now, Sophia is speaking openly of her “amazing, loving partner.” Take a look: Sophia Hutchins celebrated her birthday with Caitlyn and a horde of other guests. (She is 23 years old) She has the photos to prove it, which she uploaded to social media. “I have chosen to be very intentional about the people I surround myself with,” Sophia’s caption begins. She then advises her fans and followers to “surround yourself with those that inspire.” Sophia then rattles off a laundry list of desirable acquaintances. She suggests that people surround themselves with “those that are beautiful.” “Those that are genuine,” she adds. “Those that empower you.” “And,” Sophia notes. “Those that choose love.” She then expresses: “I am so lucky to have the friends, team, and amazing loving partner I have.” After making what many have read as a confirmation, she continues. “I cannot wait to share this year with all of these people,” Sophia writes. She adds: “and so many more that wouldn’t fit in this collage!” “Thanks for making my bday so special!” Sophia concludes. Caitlyn had a photo of her own to share on social media: “Happy Birthday to my little Sophia!” Cait captions the picture. She writes: “It was a great night last night.” “So few candles,” Cait observes. Is that more of a brag on Sophia for her youth, or on herself for snagging such a young … gal pal? Sophia replies: “Thank you babe.” As you can see for yourself, Sophia’s response includes a double-heart emoji often (but not exclusively) used by couples. So, is Caitlyn the “amazing, loving partner” to whom Sophia refers? Many people read her message as saying exactly that. The two have lived and traveled together for years. Lots of people have rooming situations that are purely platonic, but Cait is a millionaire. She doesn’t need help with rent or hotel prices. Why is this no-name declaration of love the closest that the two have come to confirming that they are in a relationship? That is anyone’s guess. Obviously, even though Cait is a public figure, she is not obligated to share any more of her personal life than she chooses. Some believe that she and Sophia want to live out in the open without the seriousness of confirming anything. But … others suggest another explanation. Caitlyn Jenner is a political conservative, even though she finally admitted that Trump sucks . Sophia is also noted for her conservative views, and said that she felt that Cait coming out as transgender helped her feel comfortable transitioning. When Sophia spoke about that, it was clear that she had been concerned about the image of trans folks and the LGBTQ+ community as being liberal. Caitlyn has received a great deal of backlash for espousing conservative views that are at odds with most within the trans community. Are Cait and Sophia hoping to avoid moving further into the spotlight as an alleged LGBTQ+ couple? Or maybe they are just taking things slowly and valuing a small degree of privacy. 50 Cent Responds To Teairra Marie’s “Ain’t Got It” Post on IG

The rest is here:

Is Teairra Marie the next woman to be subjected to those now infamous “Lock Her Up” chants? Well, probably not, but if 50 Cent is anywhere near her person then there’s a good chance she’ll hear something along those lines. After a judge ruled that Teairra Mari owed the Queens rapper $30K for legal fees he spent fighting her revenge porn lawsuit against him, 50’s been going hard at the Love & Hip Hop star on social media in an attempt to get her to pay up . Now for a man who’s sold millions of records, made a killing selling his stake in Vitamin Water, and is the executive producer of the hit show Power on Starz, you’d think $30K wouldn’t be worth a fraction of Fiddy’s energy to be spent on. You’d be wrong. 50 Cent will troll anyone for any amount of money or amusement. Looking to play the troll game with 50 Cent, Teairra Marie posted a pic on her IG page in which she wore a shirt that read “Ain’t Got It” as in she ain’t got $30K to pay 50’s legal fees. That’s kinda plausible being that she ain’t sold a record since her Rocafella days (no shots). Just sayin.’ Check out the post below and let us know if you think 50’s ODing right now or whether Teairra Marie should just pay up already. Kris Humphries Opens Up About Anxiety-Inducing Split From Kim Kardashian

Visit link:

Source: NBC / Getty Eight years after Kim Kardashian divorced Kris Humphries , the former New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets center is opening up about their 72-day marriage and its abrupt ending. In an op-ed for The Players Tribune , Humphries insists their relationship wasn’t a charade for KUWTK cameras and talks about how their split affected his mental health. “I met a girl who happened to be really famous, and I got married, and.…. Damn,” he wrote . “Look, I should have known what I was getting into. I was definitely naive about how much my life was going to change. But the one thing that really bothers me is whenever people say that my marriage was fake.” “There’s definitely a lot about that world that is not entirely real. But our actual relationship was 100% real,” he insisted. “When it was clear that it wasn’t working … what can I say? It sucked. It’s never easy to go through the embarrassment of something like that — with your friends, with your family…. But when it plays out so publicly, in front of the world, it’s a whole other level. It was brutal.” Apparently, that level of fame was really hard on him … “I didn’t know how to handle it, because I never thought I was going to be famous in that way,” he recalled. “I remember having this moment when I was getting booed so hard in Philly, and I thought to myself, ‘Why exactly are they booing me, though? Is it just because I’m That Guy from TV? Do they think I was trying to be famous? Is it because they think I disrespected the game of basketball?’” “My whole life, I was a really confident, happy person,” he continued. “But nothing can prepare you for the feeling of walking down the street, or being anywhere, really — the grocery store, the gas station — and having people literally running up on you and trying to film you, trying to grab you, saying God knows what. That’s not natural. That’s not supposed to be real life.” Humphries also writes about having anxiety and being in “a dark place” for about one year after their split. Read his full essay here . Kris Humphries Opens Up About Anxiety-Inducing Split From Kim Kardashian

Kris Humphries Swears His Marriage to Kim Kardashian Was Real

Kris Humphries would like you to know two important things about him: 1. He’s still alive. 2. He was totally and completely in love with Kim Kardashian. So the former power forward stated for The Players Tribune record in a surprising essay he penned this week. In a lengthy piece titled “I Never Wanted to Be That Guy,” Humphries opens up about his athletic past, his basketball career, his poor attitude over the years — and, yes, of course, his very brief marriage to Ray J’s former sex tape partner. (For those somehow unaware, Humphries and Kardashian were married for 72 days  back in 2011. Yes, 72 days. Due to the hilariously short length of this union, most observers have assumed that the relationship was a complete farce. They’ve assumed it was a mere PR stunt meant to bring the couple attention and money before they went their separate ways. But Humphries insists, all this time later, that there was nothing phony about the romance at all. “I met a girl who happened to be really famous, and I got married, and.…. Damn,” writes Kris in this article, adding that he “should have known what I was getting into” with Kardashian, and yet: “I was definitely naive about how much my life was going to change. But the one thing that really bothers me is whenever people say that my marriage was fake.” There’s plenty about the Kardashian universe that is not “entirely real,” explains Humphries, who should know because he appeared on plenty of Keeping Up with the Kardashians episodes. But his feelings for Kim? The vows they exchanged? His hopes and dreams for their future? “Our actual relationship was 100% real,” he emphasizes here, expounding as follows: “When it was clear that it wasn’t working … what can I say? It sucked. “It’s never easy to go through the embarrassment of something like that — with your friends, with your family…. But when it plays out so publicly, in front of the world, it’s a whole other level. It was brutal.” Kris and Kim were all over the tabloids back then, with accusations of infidelity leveled against both parties and ugly rumors spreading about the relationship across the Internet. Continues Humphries: “I didn’t know how to handle it, because I never thought I was going to be famous in that way. “I remember having this moment when I was getting booed so hard in Philly, and I thought to myself, “Why exactly are they booing me, though? Is it just because I’m That Guy from TV? “Do they think I was trying to be famous? Is it because they think I disrespected the game of basketball?” Humphries played in 800 career games and averaged 6.7 points and 5.4 rebounds. He was a perfectly solid rotation player who played for eight teams. The Minnesota native exceled in college and only ever wanted “to be known for basketball,” he writes in this piece. But that hasn’t been the case for almost a decade now. “There was about a year where I was in a dark place,” he says of the divorce proceedings. “I didn’t want to leave my home. You feel like … I don’t know … the whole world hates you, but they don’t even know why. They don’t even know you at all. They just recognize your face, and they’re on you.” Humphries would even lie and tell strangers on the street that he was someone else when they approached him. It was really tough for awhile. “I didn’t want to be Kris Humphries,” he says, adding: “It’s the craziest feeling in the world, not wanting to be yourself. And I didn’t even want to say anything to defend myself, because it felt like I couldn’t win. You can’t go up against the tabloids. You can’t go up against that machine. There’s no point. “And even if I played that game, I felt like it would be disrespecting the game of basketball.” As for whether he’d ever get back together with Kim, who is married to Kanye West and who has three children? Humphries has already answered that question. And we’re sorry to break it to you, Kim .

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: I Prayed When I Learned Rosie O’Donnell Had a Crush on Me

Recently, Rosie O'Donnell confessed that she had a crush on Elisabeth Hasselbeck during their cohosting days on The View . Hasselbeck went on Fox & Friends and responded: “I read it and I immediately started praying.” She said similar things in an appearance on The View , and is getting dragged for coming across as downright homophobic. First, here were Rosie O'Donnell's exact words in her book,  Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of the View . Reportedly, in order to quash rumors that she and Hasselbeck were enemies back in the day, Rosie … overcorrected. She says that she “loved” her conservative cohost and admitted that she had “a little bit of a crush” on her. Rosie then suggested that there were “underlying lesbian tones on both [of their] parts” while they were on  The View . She then made reference to Hasselbeck's past as a softball player, implying Hasselbeck may not be entirely straight herself. Hasselbeck appeared on both Fox & Friends and The View to respond to Rosie's statements. Sunny Hostin asked Hasselbeck about this as she assumed the role of guest host on  The View . “That's the breath of the Holy Spirit,” Hasselbeck responds. “Like please, Holy Spirit, work through me right now, so I don't answer my own mind.” “This needs to be addressed both truthfully and … maybe where I wouldn't have addressed it with grace some years past,” Hasselbeck admits. When you finish hearing her response, you wonder how much worse it would have been years ago. “One,” Hasselbeck says. “I think what she said was reckless. Untrue.” That sounds fine, until she says: “Not only insulting — disturbing.” Hasselbeck tries to spin it, saying: “When it comes to … how she felt about somebody in the workplace.” “That somebody happened to be me,” she says. “But if you replace what Rosie said, and you take her name out, and you put in … 'Robert.'” “Then we would be in a situation where you would see the objectification of a woman in the workplace,” Hasselbeck claims. “And that's disturbing,” Hasselbeck claims. “Because when we may be really against that from a man to a woman.” “You don't get a pass because you're a lesbian,” she suggests. “The feeling was not mutual,” Hasselbeck insists. “But I did respect her as a cohost.” She adds: “As I think it should happen in all workplaces.” She emphasizes that, in very religious terms, she forgives Rosie for her statements. “Secondly,” Hasselbeck continues. “I think what she says about female athletes …” “If you're an athletic girl,” she says. “And you're competitive and you're gritty …” “It's a lie and it's reckless to attach a sexuality to that,” Hasselbeck asserts. “And I think it's selfish on her part,” she accuses. “And I would say it to my friend.” “Just because you're athletic,” Hasselbeck concludes. “Doesn't have anything to do with your sexual preference.” One, having a crush on a coworker and admitting it many, many years later is not the same thing as objectification. It should not in any way be equated with workplace sexual harassment. If Rosie had made lewd anatomical comments about Hasselbeck, or made it an issue while they were on  The View , that would be different. But as Joy Behar correctly points out, Rosie's comment about having a crush was not lewd or inappropriate. Hasselbeck refers to an alleged reference to Rosie trying to “take her under her wing.” Unless Hasselbeck is accusing Rosie of inappropriate behavior during their time on  The View , then it doesn't sound like anything inappropriate went down. Second of all, Hasselbeck is wrong to equate a crush from a woman to a crush from a man. Many lesbians are inundated with the idea that they are “predatory” by being attracted to women. That is massively unfair. In contrast — and I'm a dude writing this — we all know that, historically, men with crushes are much more likely to make it a problem. Anyway, there are non-homophobic ways of saying that you're straight. It would have been cool if Elisabeth Hasselbeck had found one of those instead of immediately resorting to prayer and stereotypes. However, Hasselbeck is absolutely right about one thing — and we don't say that often. Assuming that a person is gay because of their profession or hobby or degree of athleticism is absolutely wrong. It's misleading and, while not  insulting , certainly unfair. While softball is stereotypically associated with lesbians, stereotypes are inherently demeaning and dehumanizing. Rosie should know better than to perpetuate that kind of talk. Our favorite part of this whole dang interview was Meghan McCain telling Hasselbeck she's “been a fan of you my entire life.” Hasselbeck is only 7 years older than Meghan. If you ever really want to hurt the feelings of someone young enough to be your sibling, tell them that you've been a fan of them “your whole life.” We don't think that Meghan meant any offense by that.
