At this event several women from the Women’s Rehabilitation Center that are overcoming substance abuse as well as alcoholism attended. Johnson during her set shared with the congregation that she struggled with alcohol. She would drink every day and didn’t realize it had become a problem. One evening after heading home from the bar she was pulled over by the police and was arrested. Justine Skye Reportedly Granted A Restraining Order Against Sheck Wes Before Court Hearing

Source: DJDM/WENN.com / WENN Justine Skye Gets A Restraining Order Against Sheck Wes It looks like things between Justine Skye and Sheck Wes are getting more and more serious following the singer’s allegations of abuse and of him stalking her this past week. Skye claimed that Sheck’s crew attacked her friends after previously claiming that an unnamed rapper–later revealed to be Wed–had put “hands” on her. The “Mo Bamba” rapper later denied the allegations, which prompted her to post footage of him on Twitter making his way into her house without her consent bv jumping over a fence. Now, according to reports from  The Blast , Justine Skye has filed for and was granted a restraining order against Sheck Wes. In the restraining order request, Skye claimed that he “orchestrated a plan to stalk me and viciously beat my boyfriend and our friends in front of me in public.” She also alleged that ten other men besides Sheck were complicit in the supposed attack. The restraining order rules that Sheck must stay at least 100 yards away from her until their court hearing, which takes place next month. According to reports, Skye says in the request that she does “not feel safe” and believes her “life is in danger.” It also includes a reference to an incident on July 26, 2018, where she claims Sheck “threatened to punch me in the face, headbutted me, told me he was going to ‘hurt me.’” After Skye’s initial allegations and posting of the video, Wes responded by claiming that he never hit her and was simply trying to get back his belongings. “Just clarifying this is a video of me hopping a fence to get my stuff back from a girl who refused to give me my stuff” he tweeted. “Once again for the record I never hit or beat up any woman.”

The “Empire” actor attempted to clear up those pesky rumors that he made up the “MAGA” details behind his attack. He stressed that his critics don’t believe the truth , because they “don’t even want to see the truth.” “What is it that has you so angry? Is it the attackers?” Roberts asked. “It’s the attackers but it’s also the attacks,” Smollett said. “At first it was a thing of like, ‘Listen, if I tell the truth, then that’s it, cause it’s the truth,’” the singer said. “Then it became a thing of like, ‘Oh, how can you doubt that? Like how do you not believe that? It’s the truth.’ And then it became a thing like, ‘Oh, it’s not necessarily that you don’t believe that this is the truth. You don’t even want to see the truth.’” “I think people need to hear the truth,” he said. Adding, “Cause everybody has their own idea. Some are healing and some are hurtful, but I just want young people, young members of the LGBTQ community — young, black children — to know how strong that they are.” The 36-year-old singer also doubled down on the validity of his story, stressing that he knows what he heard the assailants scream at him. “I didn’t need to add anything like that. They called me a f*****, they called me a n*****. There’s no which way you cut it. I don’t need some MAGA hat as the cherry on some racist sundae.” “I could only go off their words,” the actor said of the motivation. “I mean, who says, ‘f***** ‘Empire’ n*****, this is MAGA country,’ ties a noose around your neck and pours bleach on you? And this is just a friendly fight?” Smollett later explained his hesitation in turning his phone over to officials, who wanted him “to give my phone to the tech for three to four hours.” He continued: “I’m sorry but — I’m not gonna do that. Because I have private pictures and videos and numbers: my partner’s number, my family’s number, my castmate’s number, my friends’ numbers, my private emails, my private songs, my private voice memos.” As we previously reported , on Jan 29, Jussie was reportedly attacked by MAGA supporters, in Chicago, who brutally beat him and left him with a fractured rib before putting a noose around his neck and pouring bleach on him, TMZ reports. He was treated at Northwestern Memorial before being discharged. Smollett was reportedly walking out the subway at around 2am when two men, wearing ski-masks approached him and asked, “Aren’t you that fa**ot ‘Empire’ n*gga?” The culprits reportedly yelled, “This is MAGA country” during the attack. Days before the incident (which is being investigated as a hate crime), a threatening letter addressed to Jussie Smollett was sent to Fox Studios Chicago with the words, “You will die black f**.” Chicago Police have released surveillance footage of two persons of interest who are wanted in connection with the brutal and possible hate crime committed against Jussie Smollett. Meanwhile CNN is reporting that CPD are questioning two people for the actor’s attack. “These individuals are not yet suspects but were in (the) area of concern and are being questioned,” police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Thursday in a tweet. “Investigation continues.” “The people of interest are alleged to be in the area where a crime was reported,” Guglielmi said in a subsequent tweet. “They are not considered suspects at this time as they are currently being questioned by detectives. Through s meticulous investigation, #ChicahoPolice detectives have identified the persons of interest in the area of the alleged attack of the Empire cast member. These individuals are not yet suspects but were in area of concern and are being questioned. Source: Stephen Green / Getty The ‘Empire’ Actor Recalls A Traumatic Night J ussie Smollett is finally speaking up after reports of his brutal attack by racist, homophobic MAGA must. Smollett sat down with Robin Roberts of Good Morning America for his first interview detailing his attack last month. He said he was in the middle of picking up some food from Subway in Chicago and was on the phone with his manager when someone called him a racist and homophobic slur. Jussie said a guy in a mask then punched him screaming “This MAGA country ni**er,” and Jussie punched him back, which resulted in a short scuffle outside. He said a second unknown guy jumped in, kicking Jussie in his back. In the interview with Robin, Jussie also addressed the doubters who might’ve thought he was lying about the whole incident: “I have to acknowledge the lies, and the hate. And it feels like if I had said it was a Muslim, or a Mexican, or someone black, I feel like the doubters would have supported me much more. A lot more. And that says a lot about the place that we are in our country right now… It’s not necessarily that you don’t believe that this is the truth, you don’t even want to see the truth. Smollett, who portrays the openly gay musician Jamal on Empire , said he suffered injuries to his clavicle bone and ribs during the attack. However, some still questioned his story: “For me, the main thing was the idea that I somehow switched up my story, you know? And that somehow maybe I added a little extra trinket, you know, of the MAGA thing,” Smollett said. “I didn’t need to add anything like that. They called me a f—-, they called me a n—-. There’s no which way you cut it. I don’t need some MAGA hat as the cherry on top of some racist sundae.” Jussie also addressed rumors that he was in the middle of a late night love visit when he got attacked. “I’ve heard that it was a date gone bad, which I also resent that narrative,” he said. “I’m not gonna go out and get a tuna sandwich and a salad to meet somebody. That’s ridiculous. And it’s offensive.” Jussie was actually hanging with his friend and creative director Frank Gatson in an apartment, and they got hungry, which prompted the Subway visit. Smollett said the only reports he heard that were inaccurate were the ones claiming the attackers were wearing MAGA hats, which they weren’t. Smollett also explained why he was initially reluctant to hand over his phone to the police: “They wanted me to give my phone to the tech for three to four hours. I’m sorry but — I’m not gonna do that. Because I have private pictures and videos and numbers: my partner’s number, my family’s number, my castmate’s number, my friends’ numbers, my private emails, my private songs, my private voice memos.” Jussie didn’t even want to call the police at first, but Gatson did it on his behalf. When the cops arrived, they said they found Smollett in his apartment with stained clothing and a “white rope draped around” his neck, according to the report. “I was looking at myself, just like checking myself out. I saw the bruise on my neck, you know, like the little — the rope burn around my neck,” he said. “So when the police came I kept the clothes on, I kept the rope on me. … I mean, it wasn’t, like, wrapped around. But, yeah, it was around because I wanted them to see.” Jussie said he believes the photos released of the two possible suspects are accurate. He’s hopeful that the police will track the culprits down, and he hopes his story will inspire other marginalized groups: “I think people need to hear the truth,” Jussie said. “Cause everybody has their own idea. Check Back Here For 61st Grammy Awards: Live Updates Alicia Keys hosts the 61st Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and before the show officially got started, a few winners had already been announced including Dave Chapelle for Best Comedy Album, Black Panther for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media, Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” for Best Music Video and Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and Future’s “King’s Dead” for Best Rap Performance. At the top of the show, Camila Cabello opens up the 61st annual Grammy Awards with a colorful Cuban inspired set for “Havana” featuring Young Thug. The highlight of the set was obviously Thugger who made a fashionable entrance in his finest Michael Jackson-esque rhinestone loafers but the guests didn’t stop there. Ricky Martin and J Balvin also joined Camila on stage for a “Havana” mashup. When that was over, Alicia Keys took the stage to begin her monologue. She thanked her friends, her husband, showed some love to Tracee Ellis Ross and then took a moment to surprise the audience by bringing out a few queens who happen to be some of the most honored women in the world. A big part of friendship is showing up for your girls—that’s why I was thrilled to be there for the one and only @aliciakeys at the #GRAMMYs . There’s absolutely no way you can discuss queens and not bring Michelle O. Janelle Monae channeled her inner Prince when she took the stage for “Make Me Feel”. The Dirty Computer singer gave a very eclectic performance while wearing a black vinyl bodysuit and gyrating across the stage. If anybody knows how to put on a show, it’s Janelle Monae. She did THAT! “This Is America” won its second award of the night for Song of the Year. Unfortunately, he and his bleached out beard weren’t in the building to accept it. H.E.R, who was nominated for 5 Grammy awards, hit the stage to perform “Hard Place” and let’s be clear, her mic was ON! H.E.R. can sing live and she made sure we all knew it. The highlight of the night had to be Cardi B channeling her inner peacock and Offset loving every minute of it. Cardi twerked to “Money” with a tail of feathers and in that very moment, Offset was thinking about dropping a Kulture II in her womb. He told his fellow rappers that even though they hadn’t won the actual award, as long as they had fans singing every word of their songs, waiting in the rain for their concerts, they are the real winners. Unfortunately, the Grammy’s wasn’t feeling that. They cut to commercial mid-speech. In the latest issue of Vogue, we learned that Justin Bieber had taken a break from having sex at the time he rekindled his romance with Hailey Baldwin. The singer talked openly about how intercourse can be a “vice” and how God rewarded him for his recent celibacy by setting Justin back up with Hailey. Pretty revealing stuff, right? In her own video interview with the same magazine, however, Baldwin reveals even more about her relationship with the singer. Baldwin said she was surprised when the question was popped, however, as were all of Bieber’s fans back in July when this development occurred . The stars then went ahead this past fall and got married by a judge. But they do plan to hold a religious ceremony with all their family members and friends at some point; not that Baldwin has apparently given it much thought. “I can’t say much, but it’s kind of like an off-white color,” she said to Vogue of her gown for that big day. She also confirmed the pop star got her father Stephen Baldwin’s permission before asking the life-altering question last year. Still, though, when asked how much of her day is dedicated to wedding planning, Baldwin confessed…. not as much as it should be. “Not a lot, which reminds me that I should probably get on top of it,” she admitted. There had been chatter about the pair getting married next month in Los Angeles , but that may not be the case any longer. As for other details Hailey dishes on in the video below? When asked what Bieber’s worst habit is, she said he “doesn’t have any.” The star also said she admires her husband’s “heart for other people” above all else. In the months since she married Prince Harry , Meghan Markle’s life has developed into a unique mix of fantasy and nightmare. She may have gone from actress on an obscure basic cable legal drama to international icon, but that transformation has come with a hefty emotional toll. Part of the problem is the British tabloid press, which has been benefited tremendously from publishing scathing headlines at Meghan’s expense. But what’s reportedly much more devastating to Meghan is the role that her awful family has played in spreading damaging secrets and lies in an effort to destroy her public image. Sources close to the Duchess of Sussex say she’s not terribly surprised that her half-sister, Samantha Markle, is attempting to cash in with constant slander, as the failed actress has been deeply envious of Meghan for her entire life. However, Meg is absolutely floored by her father’s decision to take part in Samantha’s relentless bullying campaign. According to new reports from multiple outlets, just prior to her wedding, Meghan penned a heartfelt letter to her father, in which she implored him to stop making disparaging comments to the press. “Dad, I’m so heartbroken. I love you. I have one father. Please stop victimizing me through the media so we can repair our relationship,” reads a portion of the letter, according to the Daily Mail . Earlier this week, five friends of Meghan’s spoke to People magazine and revealed that their objective in doing so was to “stand up against the global bullying” that she’s endured since entering the global spotlight.” They revealed that in response to his daughter’s letter Thomas Markle suggested that the two of them participate in a photoshoot.  “She feels like, ‘That’s the opposite of what I’m saying. I’m telling you I don’t want to communicate through the media, and you’re asking me to communicate through the media. Did you hear anything I said?'” said one of Meghan’s friends. “I think she will always feel genuinely devastated by what he has done,” remarked another. The consensus among the anonymous friend group is that Thomas and Samantha are intentionally causing harm to the Duchess’ public image — not to mention her psyche — with no regard for the fact that Meghan is currently pregnant with her first child. “We worry about what this is doing to her and the baby,” said one female associate. “It’s wrong to put anyone under this level of emotional trauma, let alone when they’re pregnant.” In response to Samantha Markle’s claims that Thomas has been unable to contact his daughter, the friends revealed that that’s simply not the case. “He knows how to get in touch with her,” remarked a former costar. “He’s never called; he’s never texted. It’s super painful because Meg was always so dutiful. And at the same time, because she’s a daughter, she has a lot of sympathy for him.” We guess that’s just one more lie for the woman who’s rightly earned the nickname Scammy Sammy. 2018 was a huge year for animated films with flicks like Incredibles 2 and Ralph Breaks The Internet. Come to think about it, it was a big year for sequels as well. 2019 seems to be picking up where last year left off, but with a bang. The Lego Movie 2 hit theaters this week, and just like it’s predecessor which was released in 2014, The Second Part was chock full of stars.  Chris Pratt , Elizabeth Banks and Will Arnett are back to reprise their roles as Emmet, Lucy and Batman. But this time around, the gang has to defend their beloved Bricksburg from Duplo invaders who have turned the town into a post-apocalyptic wasteland named Apocalypseburg. After General Sweet Mayhem, the leader of the Duplo army (played by Stephanie Beatriz) kidnaps Batman, Lucy, Benny, Metalbeard, Unikitty and takes them to the Systar system, Batman is taken to Queen Wa’Nabi where he find out that she helps satisfy his emotional validation. The others are placed in environments design to tempt them, and they each fall for these temptations, except Master Builder Lucy. Once again, it’s up to Emmet Brickowski to save his friends and get his town back to normal. And speaking of Queen Watevera Wa’Nabi — who better to voice the shape-shifting alien Queen of the Systar System than Queen Tiffany Haddish . On this episode of Extra Butter, we sat with the cast the adventure comedy as they dished on all things Lego Movie 2. They even spilled a little relationship advice on baed on Lucy and Emmet’s interesting relationship. Should push people to their potential, or just love them as they are? Elizabeth told us, “I do think you want people to grow and evolve a little bit and shake them out of a routine that they can’t even perceive. I think we all get stuck in those things. It often takes an outsider or another view on it to sort of shake you out of what you’re doing. But at the same time, I don’t think Lucy wanted [Emmet] to change, I think Lucy wanted Emmet to explore another side of himself. And he does that work in then film, then comes to his own conclusion about what is authentic to him. And I think that’s what we’re all striving for.” The cool cast sure knows a thing or two about being authentic — especially Tiffany Haddish.
