My name is Kayleigh and I never thought in a million years I would meet my idol, but it happened on January 20th. I saw loads of people entering the BieberFever competitions so I decided to try it out. I took everything I had that related to Justin and I photographed it all. Once I had finished that I put it into a collage and emailed my entry and just hoped for the best. The instructions said that if you won, you would be emailed 24 hours before the concert you are attending. I was attending the 27th February show in Birmingham. On the 26th, I was in school talking to my friends about how I was going to see Justin in concert tomorrow and we started talking about what it would be like if I met him. It had me thinking. Would I keep calm? Or would I freak out? When I got home, we were getting ready for the train up to Birmingham in the morning so I had to take my baby brother down my grandmothers house so she could babysit him for the night. As I was talking to my cousin, I heard my iPod going off and when I checked it, it was an e-mail from BieberFever congratulating me about winning meet & greets! I didn’t know what to do with myself. I fell to my knees and started crying my eyes out. My nan ran over to me with tissues asking me why I was crying so I showed her the e-mail and she was so happy for me. I rung my mother and told her everything and she then ended up crying for me, even my sister was crying! For the whole night, all I could do was cry because I NEVER thought I’d be meeting my idol, my inspiration, my everything. The next day, the train for Birmingham was at 11:30 a.m. so we had to sit on the train for 3 hours. I thought I’d never get there in time. It was really rushed once we got to the hotel and I quickly changed. When I picked the meet and greet bands up, I started shaking because this was really happening. We waited for another hour or so because Justin was late. Kenny walked passed us to pick up some people from the queue, and all I could do was fangirl. Then later on, Nick Demoura came out to talk to us. I just couldn’t believe it! We also saw Dan Kanter, but couldn’t have a photo with him because he was in a rush. Then the meet and greet started. My friend and I were near the back of the queue. As we were lining up outside the curtains getting ready to go in, a man lifted up the curtain and I saw Justin getting ready for us to walk in. He licked his lips then looked at me and I froze. I couldn’t move my body at all! The man was telling me to walk in but I just couldn’t move. My friend had to push me in! My heart started beating 100 miles per hour and I was shaking so much. Because they were rushing, the security guards placed us by Justin so we could get the picture done quickly. When it was taken the guard tried pushing us out but I turned around and looked at Justin. My friend asked him for a hug but the security guard said no and Justin then said, “Sorry, we’re running late.” When I left the meet and greet, I was shaking so bad and I started crying. I cried for an hour straight. We went to find out seats in the arena and found that we were close to the stage! Everything went so perfect, I couldn’t have asked for a better night. I’m blessed that I got to meet Justin and I hope that it will happen again soon. My mother is so happy that I met him and she’s even considering buying me meet & greets for the next time he comes to Birmingham. All I have to say is, NEVER give up on your dreams because dreams DO come true. I never thought I’d ever get to meet him but I did. I honestly thought I’d never get the chance to write my own Bieber Experience, but I never ever gave up! I’ve been a massive Belieber since around September 2009 and I’ve followed his career ever since. I’ll never ever leave him. It all started when Justin announced his dates for the UK Believe tour. There was a big confusion about tickets and when they were coming out. Luckily I had finished school so that I could stay on my laptop all day and buy them. I had saved up some money for a meet and greet and my parents agreed to pay the rest because they knew how much it had meant to me. On the 24 th February I was going to meet Justin, finally! I’d seen him before in concert but I couldn’t believe I was finally going to meet him and see him perform live from the front row! When it was finally the day of the show, we got to the arena and were given merchandise and other stuff you got with the package. They also give you a raffle ticket and raffled things off like Justin’s shoe and his glove, but I didn’t win anything. After a bit, Justin’s backup singer (@iam_vernonb) came out and hardly anyone knew who he was, I was so shocked. I was like ‘OMG HI!’ Then Kenny came out and everyone went crazy! But finally it was time to start. I was third in the queue to meet Justin. He was really late because he had been doing stuff for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. I gave his presents to the security who promised me so many times he’d get them. As I walked in, Justin was checking the picture he had just took with the 2 girls in front of me. Then when he looked at me, I just threw my arms around him asking for a hug (didn’t give him a choice really haha!) and he put his arms round my waist. I was refusing to let go so we had to walk back in place for the picture still hugging. When I was hugging him I said, “You mean everything to me,” and he looked at me and smiled. Then he spoke to my friend. We got the picture and I was being dragged out but I held onto his hand and told him I loved him. He looked right into my eyes, it was literally a glance but it felt like a life time and winked at me. Like a proper wink with a cheeky smile on his face and said, “Love you too.” Oh my god it was perfect! I was like, “OMG LOVE YOU BYE THANK YOU THANK YOU.” It was really fast. The concert was then amazing. We got right by the runway and got to hold Justin’s hand twice. Law & Order Episode Mirrors Chris Brown And Rihanna Relationship Last night, NBC aired an episode of the popular television drama “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” with a story line that was all but identical to the real life rollercoaster relationship between Rihanna and Chris Brown . In case you missed it, here’s a brief synopisis: via Hollywood Life The episode awkwardly began with a caption on the screen telling us it was not based on anyone in real life. We see a young singer named Misha performing a duet with Caleb Bryant — interesting initials “CB” — showing that they are really in love with each other. hen, two seconds after kissing on Misha, Caleb moves onto a background singer that looks exactly like Karrueche Tran. Misha obviously sees what is going on, but instead of handling it like a man, Caleb beats her up in front of a handful of people Caleb is a big jerk when he gets arrested for the beating that has now been blasted all over a popular gossip website. What’s also interesting is that when this happens, they actually have the words “Chris Brown & Rihanna” on screen. Comparing this beating to the one of Chris and RiRi were involved in is art imitating life. A few other events happen that mirror the wild child lifestyles of Breezy and Rih-Rih , but things a take a slightly different and significantly more tragic turn as episode comes to a close. Transgender discrimination is real in the field… Even for elementary school kids! Just last week parents in Massachusetts were mad over trans kids being able to use any bathroom they want. But these parents are fighting to make sure their kid is treated like any other little girl. Via ABCNews Reports : Coy Mathis, born a male triplet, has behaved like a girl since she was 18 months old. When her brother Max was consumed with dinosaurs, she was playing with Barbie dolls. By 4, she was telling her mother that something was wrong with her body. When Coy began complaining about “something wrong” with her body, her parents took her to a specialist, who diagnosed gender identity disorder. Doctors recommended no immediate medical intervention but to let her “live as a girl,” he explained. “They spoke to the school and they said, ‘fine.’” Since being enrolled at Eagle Elementary School in Fountain, Colo., the 6-year-old has presented as female and wearing girls’ clothing. Her classmates and teachers have used female pronouns to refer to her, and she has used the girls’ bathrooms. But since December, school officials have told her parents she can no longer use the female facilities and ordered her to use the boys’ or nurse’s bathroom. “We want Coy to have the same educational opportunities as every other Colorado student,” said Kathryn Mathis, Coy’s mother. “Her school should not be singling her out for mistreatment just because she is transgender.” Now Jeremy and Kathryn Mathis, with the help of the Transgender Legal and Defense Education Fund (TLDEF), have filed a complaint with the Colorado Civil Rights Division on behalf of Coy, alleging that the school has violated her rights. Since Christmas vacation, Coy has been homeschooled. “Our eye is focused on getting Coy back into school,” said TLDEF’s executive director Michael Silverman. “We are hopeful we can resolve this quickly for Coy’s sake.” The Mathis family and their supporters gathered at the State House in Denver Wednesday to bring media attention their action against the school. “The parents of Coy Mathis … have chosen to publicize this matter by appearing on a nationally televised show with their child, sharing their point of view with national and local media, and holding a public press conference to announce the filing of the charge,” the Fountain School District said in a prepared statement. “The district firmly believes it has acted reasonably and fairly with respect to this issue,” it said. “However [it] believes the appropriate and proper forum for discussing the issues identified in the charge is through the Division of Civil Rights process.” The school district said it would not comment further until they have formally responded to the charge. But a Dec. 12 letter from the school’s lawyers to TLDEF said, “The district’s decision took into account not only Coy but other students in the building, their parents, and the future impact a boy with male genitals using a girls’ bathroom would have as Coy grew older.” While other students and teachers do not notice that Coy has male genitals, the school said it feared as the child developed parents and students would become “uncomfortable.” “…It would be far more psychologically damaging and disruptive for the issue to arise at an age when students deal with social issues,” the letter said. The Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act prohibits discrimination against transgender students in public schools. Coy’s parents worry that the school’s policy is setting their child up for stigma and bullying. “We have five children and we love them all very much,” said Kathryn Mathis. “We want Coy to return to school to be with her teachers, her friends, and her siblings, but we are afraid to send her back until we know that the school is going to treat her fairly. She is still just 6 years old, and we do not want one of our daughter’s earliest experiences to be our community telling her she’s not good enough.” The Mathis’ have a set of triplets and two other children, Dakota, 8, and Auri, 2. The father, Jeremy Mathis, 31, is a former Marine who was honorably discharged with injuries. Kathryn Mathis, 27, is a certified nurse assistant and takes care of Coy’s triplet, Lily who has been severely disabled since a viral infection after birth. She must be fed through an IV and is quadriplegic. It sounds like this family has a lot to contend with and we’re not sure why the school needs to get all into details about Coy’s “male genitals” being that girls bathrooms have stalls anyway! Movies: Some actors make a point of hob-nobbing with famous and high-profile folks in the industry and getting their picture in the tabloids as often as possible. Then there’s Denzel Washington. In an interview with Xan Brooks published on The Guardian.co.uk, Washington announced, “Actually, even within the industry, I don’t have any actor friends. My friends are old friends. One’s an ex-music guy, the other’s a restaurant owner and the other’s an ex-pro ballplayer.” When asked why he didn’t have many friends among his colleagues, Washington snapped, “Because I don’t make friends! Maybe I’m not a butt-kisser, maybe I’m not a schmoozer. I’m not about to go to a party to try to get a job. And then when you have children, the other friends become other parents. We’d coach baseball or basketball. My wife and I were raised right. I don’t want movie-star friends. And being African American, there were no big movie stars to hang out with anyway, not when I was starting out, they were just the third guy from the back! I’m just a working actor.” While Washington didn’t go into deep detail about his private life in the interview, the well-grounded and publicity-shy actor alluded to his religious scruples and the role they play in his life and his work. When asked about his character’s plea for help from God in “Flight,” Washington replied, “That line, ‘God help me,’ was very important to me. As an arc as much as anything. The most voted video would also get M&G tickets! On January 25, 2013 I went to Miami with 6 other winners from Indonesia which was a 25 HOUR FLIGHT. As we arrived on the 26th we went to the arena hoping that we will meet Justin. We waited outside Justin’s tour bus in the parking lot. We waited for 30 minutes but nobody show up and only around 10 beliebers were waiting because the concert had not finish yet. We went to some mall near the arena for dinner and we went go back to the arena after the concert was over. Suddenly one of my friends said, “Is that Cody Simpson?” We looked at him and then chased him asking for a picture. At first he doesn’t want to but I said, “We are from Indonesia,” and then he agreed. Then we met some beliebers that went to the concert and asked them how it was. I was so excited to see the show the next day. We went back to Justin’s tour and it was full of other beliebers waiting. We waited and Scooter came out! I didn’t take a picture with him but he TOUCHED MY HAND! I was so happy. Then the next day on January 27, 2013 one of my dreams came true, I met Justin. I waited for 2 hours in line outside the arena. The crew asked us to make a group of six. I was crying at that time because I was alone. Suddenly a woman asked me to be in her group who was with her family. She said her and her husband won’t take a picture with Justin, she just would accompany her children, so that means I would take a picture with only with 3 people. The security then said that Justin was here. Inside the arena, I met Scooter, Kenny and Fredo. The curtain opened and finally this was my time to take a picture with Justin. I run to him and gave him a hug. He smells really good I swear. After I took a picture with him, I took his hand and gave him a bracelet to him. Here’s my story, it probably won’t touch your hearts as much as others stories did, but it was the best day of my life and I’ll never forget it. I’ve been a belieber for a really long time, and the last time Justin came to my city I didn’t make it. Finally when Believe tour dates came out I bought a membership to BieberFever and bought VIP passes. You have no idea how happy that made me. I’ve been here supporting him through every high and low and I’ve never let him down and he’s never let me down. When I’m down, I listen to his songs or watch his interviews and I feel much better. He literally gave me the motivation to get up every morning because I knew his concert was coming. People don’t understand how much he means to me, he’s honestly my happiness. The day of Justin’s concert finally arrived and I didn’t sleep at all the night before. I got there and I saw Kenny, Dan and Jeremy with Jazzy and Jaxon while I was waiting in line for VIP . Then I finally got into the room and I just remember thinking he’s so real and he’s so beautiful. They pushed us into the picture and I said quickly got to say to Justin, “Thank you so much for everything,” and he said, “No, thank YOU so much!” All of it was less than 10 seconds. I couldn’t believe it was over but it was amazing. He’s so sweet, and as soon as I got out I started sobbing. Justin saved me, and many of my friends.
