Justin Timberlake performed a medley of his most beloved hits at halftime of Super Bowl 52. Did you catch the dance-filled act? Relive it HERE if not. The 13-plus minute performance featured Timberlake belting out such hits as “Can't Stop This Feeling” and “Gone,” but the focus a day later is on the minute or two during which he sat at a piano and played a cover of Prince's “I Would Die 4 U.” What a nice tribute to the late musician, who made his home in the Super Bowl host city of Minnesota, right? WRONG, many Prince fans are now saying. So very, very, very, VERY wrong. Scroll down and all around to find out why: 1. May He Rest in Peace Prince, of course, died in April of 2016. He was famous for his Minneosta mansion and he performed at halftime of the Super Bowl in 2007, leaving many to assume Timberlake would cover a song of his this year. 2. NO HOLOGRAM, JT! A song would have been great, but this is where the controversy started, with talk that Timberlake would sing alongside a Prince hologram during his act. Many years ago, Prince said the following about the use of such a device: “That’s the most demonic thing imaginable. Everything is as it is, and it should be. If I was meant to jam with Duke Ellington, we would have lived in the same age. That whole virtual reality thing… it really is demonic. And I am not a demon.” 3. Easy, Folks Long-time Prince friend Shiela E. said prior to the show that rumors of Timberlake using a hologram were false. She assured everyone this would NOT take place. 4. Okay, Phew Social media users felt a lot better after reading the message. 5. And She Was Sort of Right Check out the above photo. It’s not a hologram. It’s just a projection of Prince of a giant screen. But try parsing that difference to loyal Prince supporters, who were far from happy about Timberlake’s stunt. 6. Did This Count as a Hologram? Yes, it might as well have in the eyes of critics who took to Twitter and blasted Timberlake. View Slideshow
Nick Foles may have outshined Tom Brady while winning MVP honors in Super Bowl 52… … but the Eagles quarterback was unable to steal the headlines on Sunday from two people who didn’t play a single down in the big game. Wouldn’t you know that Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian would find a way to dominate the headlines?!? Jenner, of course, did so by giving birth to her first child. Following months of secrecy, the 20-year old welcomed a baby girl over the weekend , releasing a statement shortly afterward that explained why she had remained out of the spotlight during her pregnancy. “I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how,” Kylie said via statement, adding on Sunday: “I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could… “I’ve never felt love and happiness like this; I could burst!” To make up for how little she shared with the public during her journey to motherhood, Kylie posted a lengthy video online that depicted her baby bump in various stages, along with something else… Kylie Jenner Video Shows Baby Girl, Chicago West, and More! … glimpses of Chicago West! That’s right, fans were unexpectedly treated to a few looks at Kim and Kanye West’s third child via the footage above, as Kylie’s family members visited her in the hospital prior to her own baby’s arrival. For example, Rob stopped by with daughter Dream, who adorably touched the head of her cousin at one point. You can see what we mean here: Kim – who has not yet shared any pictures of her daughter on social media or sold any to supermarket tabloids (yet) – also allowed little Chicago to be filmed for this special video. The child was born via surrogate last month because Kardashian has a health complication that would have made another pregnancy very dangerous. Kim and Kanye were right in the delivery room when Chicago entered the world at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Check out this cute snapshot of mother and new child: “She’s here!” Kardashian declared in extra-large type on her Twitter account shortly after the blessed event took place, adding at the time: “We’re so in love… “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.” At another point in her video to fans, Jenner is seen cradling her niece in her arms, preparing for the many days and nights in which she’ll be doing the same with her own little girl. (Kylie is yet to announce her daughter’s name.) It certainly looks like Chicago West is very well loved, doesn’t it? She’ll soon have even more company, too, as Khloe Kardashian is pregnant and expecting her first child at some point in the next month or so. How crazy is all of this?!? Just when you think the Kardashians-Jenners are out of ways to make news, just when you think that the Eagles finally winning a Super Bowl would be all anyone wants to talk about… … bam! Kim, Kylie and, in due time, Khloe make it as clear as ever: This is their universe. We should just be grateful that they allow us to reside in it. (Also: Congrats to Kylie and Kim! We’re so very happy for them!) View Slideshow: The Kardashians Confess: 15 Things You Didn’t Know About Us

Arkansas HS Students Suspended Over Racist Comments A couple of students from Fayetteville High Scholl in Arkansas thought it would be an AMAZING idea to blast some Kodak Black and Drake in their home, and then take to SnapChat and exclaim “F*ck Black People” and “White Supremacy, B*tch!” where all their friends could see. As folks whose brains are fully developed know, the internet is forever and SnapChats don’t always disappear into the ether the way you’d like them to. Hence why we have a (blurred) copy of the vid in question here: One of their friends’ mothers caught wind of what was going on, and shared it with the school and other parents. According to Metro UK , despite the fact that the incident occurred off-grounds, the school’s officials deemed it in violation of the code of conduct and suspended each of the kids for a week. The video, of course, coincided with the start of Black History Month . We’re assuming they thought it would be HILARIOUS, but of course, it backfired and they issued a weak apologies their mothers made them write: We were wrong, and we sincerely apologize for what we said and for the harm that was caused at Fayetteville High School and in our family. A Missouri State student named Hayden accidentally swiped left on a beautiful female student named Claudia’s Tinder profile, and responded by sending an email to every single Claudia with a plea to let him undo his mistake. Is this adorable? Creepy? Both? You’ll have to read and decide for yourself. And, of course, then there’s the intended Claudia’s response. “Hello all Claudias of Missouri State,” his email begins. We don’t know how many Claudias that includes. It’s a great name with a great history, but kind of rare. Even rare names can crop up a lot when you’re talking about a student body population of about 26,000 students. “First off, my name is Hayden, and I made a rookie mistake on Tinder. I accidentally swiped left on Claudia’s profile (left is bad), and I really wanted to swipe right.” Oh gosh. “If Tinder provided last names, this would be much easier, but it doesn’t, so I have to describe the profile to you.” This is taking those old “missed connection” stories and adding another layer. Color us intrigued. “The age next to her name was 20, but in her bio it said she was actually 18 and didn’t know how to change it.” It sounds like they have similar proficiencies in using Tinder. Kind of a promising start to their relationship? “The pictures she provided had some with her friends and her mom in them. In her bio she said some of her friends were single and if anyone liked them better that’s fine but they couldn’t have her mom (had me deat btw).” Yeah that’s genuinely funny. “So, like I said, I meant to swipe right but that didn’t happen.” That can happen to anyone if they’re just flipping through profiles and make the motion one time too many by mistake, but maybe he’s “My instagram is Hayden.Moll if you want to look me up.” He has almost no photos on there. It’s hard to tell if he sanitized his profile just for the occasion or if he just needs to get better friends if he wants an Instagram profile that’s going to grab a thirsty fellow student’s attention. “I’m just asking, if this is your profile that I described, please message me back with ‘right’ or ‘left’ just so I know if you’re interested or not.” Like a do-it-yourself Tinder. Amazing. But what is he hoping to get out of all of this? “If you choose ‘right’ we could totally get some doughnuts or something but if you choose ‘left’ that’s cool too. No worries!” That’s a polite thing to say. In part for politeness but also because, well, sometimes when men feel rejected they respond with murder. Hayden was good to include that reassurance. “If it’s none of you Claudias and you know even more Claudias, spread the word please. It would be much appreciated!” Well, the young woman in question did reveal herself. Her name is Claudia Alley. Public responses have ranged from comments admiring the story to finding humor in it to others disparaging them or the entire idea of meeting someone through an app. “He was smitten..” “He was desperate to meet her because he could just sense she has a great personality.” “She just wants to know who does his eyebrows.” “Um, stalking?” “That twink is out of his league.” “I feel sorry for people out there that cyber stalk someone before and rely on screens during courtship.” “No dear, not creepy at all.” What matters, though, is what Claudia thinks of all of this. Apparently, she’s not only entertained by the story going viral — she’s also amused enough by his endearing email that she’s agreed to go out to get doughnuts with him. A lot of the time, viral relationships like this fall apart. You know what else falls apart? Non-viral relationships. Not everybody clicks. That doesn’t mean that we need to start singing a funeral dirge for this “relationship.” They’re literally just going out for doughnuts. We would point out though that Hayden seems to be pretty tall and Claudia is either exclusively friends with Amazonians or is extremely short. Sometimes height differences are the secret ingredient that make relationships click and stick. We hope that they’re both better at a doughnut date than they are at using Tinder.

Logan Paul has returned to YouTube with his first video since being publicly reprimanded for basically being an insensitive A-Hole earlier this year. In late December, the viral sensation shared lengthy footage of his trip to Japan, specifically honing in on the dead body of a man found hanging from a tree in the woods. Paul and his friends cracked wise about their finding and made fun of the dead . He proceeded to apologize on multiple occasions for the footage, but never sounded especially sincere in doing so. Will this latest effort help Paul make amends? Titled “Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow,” the new seven-minute clip depicts the 22-year old Internet personality talking with suicide survivor Kevin Hines, Alo House Recovery Centers founder Bob Forrest and National Suicide Prevention Hotline director Dr. John Draper. He says his goal is to educate himself on the topic and to better understand why about 800,000 people take their own lives each year. “I know I’ve made mistakes. I know I’ve let people down. But what happens when you’re given an opportunity to help make a difference in the world?” Paul says in the video, adding: “It’s time to learn from the past as I get better and grow as a human being. “I’m here to have a hard conversation as those who are suffering can have easier ones.” Will critics buy this? Or will they just view it as a cynical attempt to win back fans? Paul has 16 million YouTube followers. He makes millions per year off his videos. In the following footage, he runs down five steps to assist someone who is considering suicide. They are: Ask. Listen. Support. Help them connect. Check in on them. He also pledges to donate $1 million to “various suicide prevention organizations, with the first $250,000 going straight to the National Suicide Prevention Hotline. It's a start, right? Paul says he never meant to create a stir with his controversial video, but that he doesn't know anyone personally who has committed suicide. “That was part of the problem was just my ignorance on the subject,” he explains below. “While I’m not able to solve the problem by myself, I want to be part of the solution. Back on December 31, Paul uploaded footage that feature the corpse of a man who appeared to have hanged himself from a tree in Aokigahara, which is commonly referred to as Japan’s “suicide forest.” About 10 days later, YouTube removed him from its Google Premium advertising service. So… is this video a sincere mea culpa on Paul's part? Or just a way for him to get into YouTube's good graces and maximize his earnings once again? Watch and decide for yourself:
