Looks like the rumored, rebound romance made in MTV heaven is in fact the real deal, as the worlds of Teen Mom and Real World collide. Madison Channing Walls has confirmed that she and Javi Marroquin are indeed dating, while providing more details about their relationship. After experiencing private – and public – heartbreak on their respective reality shows, Javi and Madison are giving love another chance. “Javi and I are definitely together,” she tells E! News . “We are definitely boyfriend and girlfriend.” How did girlfriend and boyfriend meet? In very 2017 fashion. According to the duo, Madison direct messaged Javi on Instagram after some of her fans brought up their similarities. Walls’ social media followers noted that the reality stars had similar stories about exes and babies, and suggested that they get together. Amazing, right? That initial DM conversation turned into nonstop talking, which ultimately turned into a relationship that both are over the moon about.  “I love that he is a gentleman,” Madison said of Javi. “I like his core values and that he has morals and just what he stands for.” Rumors of Javi Marroquin dating Madison Channing Walls first surfaced earlier this week when they made it Instagram official. As for their first in-person meeting before they went public, it happened in Philadelphia, over a romantic meal at Javi’s favorite restaurant. “We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine,” Javi recalled, “and then later I had my friends come out to meet her and we all went out and danced and drank.” “We just had a really good time. It was awesome.” It’s a long-distance relationship, but Javi already has plans to visit Austin, Texas next month to experience Madison’s hometown in person. As for their exes, and kids? Javi’s son with Kailyn Lowry and Madison’s daughter with Tony Raines have stayed out of this … for now. That could change with with time, however.   “I know better now,” Javi explained to E!  “I haven’t introduced [Madison] to [my son] Lincoln yet. I learned from my past mistakes where I introduced him way too early on in a relationship. Walls seems more gung-ho about it. Madison added, “I’m really excited for him to come to Austin next month. I’m going to introduce him to my friends and family and [my daughter].” “It should just be a really good time,” Walls adds, adding that she and Marroquin are “already making plans for this summer together.” For her part, Kailyn Lowry is pissed about the pair’s relationship, we’re told, though it’s unclear how serious her opposition is. As Javi acknowledged, introducing Linc to Cassie Bucka  right after they began dating last year was likely not the best idea. Kailyn could be concerned about a repeat of that, or worried about Javi being less available for their son, without any ill will. Along those lines, Marroquin says he has nothing but good things for his ex, who is expecting another child at the moment. “Kail knows about the relationship for sure,” Javi said. “I wish her nothing but the best and health and wellness and all of that stuff, you know? I’m happy for Kail. I’m here for her.” “We actually are in a good place and I just want health for her and the baby. Lincoln is actually the one who told me she was having a baby.” “He knows what’s going on,” Marroquin says. “He’s excited to have another sibling.” Quite an about face from what we’ve seen when we watch Teen Mom 2 online lately, but that drama was filmed many months ago now. Here’s hoping that Kailyn and her ex-husband really have turned a page and can move forward amicably, because man, it was ugly. Considering  Javi broke into her house like a psycho, and her getting a protective order against him, they’ve already come a long way.
