Army Sgt. Surprises Daughter At High School Graduation

P ursuing a career in the military comes with several sacrifices. Individuals who make the brave decision to serve often miss out on the major life milestones experienced by their loved ones. After being away from his family for nearly a decade, U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Anthony Tillman gave his daughter a special gift by surprising her on stage at her high school graduation, Good Morning America reported. Tillman has been in the Army for 18 years. He served in Iraq and was most recently stationed in Korea. Due to his deployment, the only interaction that he had with his family was through FaceTime. With his daughter Kayla’s high school graduation on the horizon, he was unsure if he would be able to be present for the special moment. After returning to his station in Fort Benning, Georgia, attending the commencement ceremony became more of a reality. Tillman initially told his daughter that he wouldn’t make it to the graduation, but little did she know he was planning on driving 600 miles from Fort Benning to Fort Lauderdale for the ceremony. He worked with the school administrators to organize the unforgettable moment for Kayla. Right after she received her diploma, he surprised her on stage. The St. Thomas Aquinas High School commencement ceremony turned into a heartwarming father-daughter reunion before 524 graduates and their loved ones. “When they started playing the graduation music, tears just started coming down my eyes because right then and there I realized how much of her life I’d missed,” he told the news outlet. “I didn’t realize the stuff my kids were going through by me not being there physically. It was rough on her and I’m proud that she finished school while dealing with the fact that her dad was in the Army and not there like her friends’ dads were. For the situation we were in, I’m so proud of her.” Kayla—who will attend college in Louisiana—was overcome with emotion when she saw her dad on stage. She said that being reunited with her father made the pinnacle of her high school experience so much more special. Sgt. Tillman is slated to be stationed in Georgia for the next few years and plans on spending a lot of time with his children. Robyn Brown: Ghosting Fellow Sister Wives as Feud Worsens?!

Recent reports have shocked Sister Wives fans to their cores. These days, Kody Brown seems to care about one woman , Robyn, to the detriment of his other wives.  Playing favorites is backfiring, because it’s resulted in new family tensions, and now Robyn is ghosting the rest of the family. Everyone was so proud when Aspyn Brown graduated from college . It’s a huge deal! But fans could not help but notice that Robyn Brown skipped out on the big family gathering. “Yesterday I graduated college,” Aspyn wrote on social media. “I want to say a big thank you to my parents,” she expressed. “For encouraging me to go and helping me to start.” “I am so grateful for my sweet friends and my amazing littles who I am so lucky to have,” Aspyn gushed. “And a huge thank you to Mitch,” Aspyn raved. “Who stuck it all out with my while plans changed.” Mitch is her husband, whom Aspyn married last year. “I love you all so much & am beyond grateful for your love,” she affirmed. “Thanks for all the wishes to my friends here as well,” Aspyn added, in a huge nod to her fansa nd followers. “Now,” she concluded. “Onto the next adventure.” That message was very sweet! But as fans looked through the photos from this major life milestone, they couldn’t help but notice that someone was missing. “Where is Robyn?” one fan asked in a comment. Another could resist commenting: “I see Robyn isn’t there.” Considering the recent reports of family tensions with Robyn at their center, of course they picked up on the conspicuous absence. Aspyn herself took to the comments in the hope of quashing these rumors. “She was really sad to miss it,” Aspyn said of Robyn. “But,’ she explained, Robyn “woke up feeling terrible.” “She celebrated with all of us later,” Aspyn assured her concerned fans and followers. On the one hand, illness can strike at any moment and deprive people of seeing joyful milestones. On the other, it would also make an easy excuse for Robyn’s absence if there is a lot more going on. Recent reports have described tensions in the Brown family. Yes, even more than usual. One sister wife in particular, Robyn, is at the center of it all. Why? Because, according to reports, Kody has been spending extra time with her, singling her out as his favorite. He even allegedly spent an entire week with her house as his “home base” ina  blatant display of favoritism. The Browns set out to do Sister Wives with the intention of showing the world that plural marriage isn’t scary. After all, most of the people arrested for “polygamy” have done actual bad things, like marrying children and not allowing anyone to leave. But “polygamy” is a more sensational label, so people harp on the number of wives and not that they tend to be aged 12-14 or whatever. So we understand where Kody and the sister wives were coming from, but that doesn’t make them the best family to reassure viewers. Kody rubs people the wrong way, for a host of reasons. And all of the family drama (like the appearance of playing “favorites”) that makes them entertaining reality fodder makes them terrible representatives of plural marriage. Since the news broke, parties involved have been pretty mum about it. Monica has been accused of being too mum , actually. However, the star decided to break her silence on this week’s episode of T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle.  In a clip from the episode, the 38-year-old mother of three sat with her mom Marilyn and a therapist. In the presence of both women, she revealed the toll her recent split has had on her. I had two children. It’s been some rough weeks these last few weeks.” While, of course, the star didn’t go into detail about why things didn’t work out (there were rumors of infidelity and Brown rarely appeared on Friends and Family Hustle ), she said in a confessional that she was struggling to be okay emotionally. “Things in my personal life have been changing a lot, and it has not been easy,” she said. “I can not lie. My personal relationship is taking a major toll on me. I’m feeling it every day. Bethenny Frankel Testifies: The Real Housewives Isn’t REAL, Duh!

Not content with merely forcing Bethenny Frankel to reveal her sexual history in court , Jason Hoppy’s attorney is trying a new tactic. He tried to catch her in a lie under oath — using a clip from The Real Housewives of New York City , of all things. Bethenny defended herself by pointing out that reality television is, well, super fake. Page Six reports that Bethenny Frankel was once again in court for her ongoing custody battle against her despised ex. At the May 13 hearing, Jason Hoppy’s attorney brought up something that she had said in an April episode of RHONY . “I kept in the middle of the night waking up and asking my friends, ‘Is [Dennis] really dead?’” Bethenny said on the episode. “I [was] going through denial,” she confessed on Bravo. Bethenny explained: “because I would imagine a sudden death from an overdose is extremely different than just knowing someone is going to die from cancer.” While testifying in court, Bethenny said that she did not know for a fact that Dennis Shields had died of an overdose. On the one hand, that could illustrate that Bethenny allegedly knew with certainty that her ex had died of an overdose, but refused to say so in court. On the other hand, people sometimes choose different words for reality television than they would in real life. “I wonder why he’s working late” becomes “he is CHEATING on her,” because you know that cameras are rolling. It’s would not be unprecedented in the reality television business for certain scenes to be aired out of order to make a more cohesive story. When Jason’s attorney brought up her exchange, Bethenny wanted to know what his point was. “What is it you want me to answer?” Bethenny asked. “About the show or about my life?” She was already making it clear that these are different, often separate things. Bethenny also pointed out that the show is heavily edited because it exists to entertain, not to merely document. If Jason decides to challenge that, she could call in no shortage of celebrity witnesses who have made the exact same statement. In court, Bethenny elaborated upon how shows like RHONY operate. “[It’s] a show you shoot for seven days to get 40 minutes,” Bethenny explained. As a result, she reasoned, “I can never specifically say that’s what happened.” Cameras can cut away at any moment and audio can be mixed in. “Even if you have a transcript,” Bethenny shares. “It might not be what I said.” Jason’s attorney continued to quiz Bethenny about the show, causing her to reply with exasperation. “I don’t know,” Bethenny quipped. “You are more of a fan than I am.” He continued to press the issue, suggesting that the court could spend its time watching reality television. “I would have to show the witness the episode of the show,” the attorney suggested. “We can have a viewing party.” Thankfully, that sort of theatrical nonsense is up to the judge to decide. Judge Katz gave Jason’s attorney’s idea  big ol’ thumbs down. “I do think it is bizarre [to ask about the show],” Katz stated in court. “We are taking this reality television show that was meant for entertainment value,” Katz continued. “And supplanting testimony.” We cannot speak to Katz’s full judicial record, but that is some sound reasoning. So many people seem to think that reality television is some sort of candid camera, akin to surveillance footage. It is anything but. It’s entertainment. Source: Paras Griffin / Getty NBA YoungBoy Arrested After Daytime Shooting In Front Of Trump Hotel According to FOX News reports, shots rang out Sunday near a Trump beachside hotel, where NBA YoungBoy and his entourage were later identified as being on the scene. It’s unclear at this point what NBA YoungBoy’s exact involvement might’ve been, but multiple eyewitnesses say someone opened fire on him. The gunfire killed 43-year-old Mohamad Jradi, who was sitting in his van across the street from the resort. Jradi was just leaving work to celebrate Mother’s Day with his family when a bullet struck him in the head. Another bullet grazed a 5-year-old boy who was treated and released by paramedics at the scene. As a result, YB was detained along with 7 others at the scene. It’s unclear what each person is charged with at this time. NBA YB’s girlfriend, 19-year-old Kaylyn Marie Long, was hit in the shoulder during the shooting, she is now in stable condition and recovering.   Here is some of the aftermath of the shooting, footage obtained by TMZ.

Kate Middleton and Prince William Finally Issue Statement on Royal Baby

We’re still waiting to learn what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have named their child. But we no longer need to wait to see what Kate Middleton and Prince William have to say about the seventh person in line for the British throne. Early on May 6, as you may have read about by now, Markle gave birth to her very first baby . It’s a boy and he weighed in at seven pounds three ounces and everyone is happy and healthy. “We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. “Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz,” read a statement on the official Royal Sussex Instagram page a few hours after the blessed event. No further details were released at the time. But while Prince Harry himself has spoken out on being a father and even Markle’s evil dad has said a few words , observers have been wondering when we’ll hear from William and Kate. Might they remain silent? Might they use this opportunity to hammer the final nail in the coffin of their relationship with Meghan and Harry, following all those rumors of a rivalry between the foursome? No, as it turns out. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family,” stated a message posted to Kensington Palace’s Instagram account late on Monday. It’s about time, right?!? We mostly say that in jest, although talk of a feud between Middleton and Markle, and also between William and Harry, has been going in for months now. There’s even been (hilarious) talk that Middleton wants to get pregnant again now because she’s jealous of all the attention being paid to Markle. Harry, meanwhile, told reporters off camera yesterday that he’s had “about two hours sleep” since his son was born. That sounds about right. And it may scarcely improve over the next sevderal weeks. But still. Parenthood is worth it, right? It does sound that way already. “Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning – a very healthy boy,” the Duke of Sussex told the media after everything calmed down a little bit on Monday, adding: “Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. This has been the most amazing experience I could possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. “But we are both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everyone out there. It’s been amazing.” And he concluded: “I haven’t been in many births. This is definitely my first birth. It was amazing, absolutely incredible. “As I said, I am so incredibly proud of my wife and as every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon.” Markle has not said anything directly just yet. She has chosen NOT to pose with the baby outside the hospital just hours after giving birth, somewhat bucking a Royal tradition carried out last April by Middleton with little Prince Louis. Sharon Osbourne revealed that she’s tried to commit suicide three times in the midst of battling with depression. New co-host Carrie Ann Inaba opened up about her autoimmune disease. As for  Eve , the rapper spoke on her  fertility issues  that she’s currently coping with. The 40-year-old star admitted that for a time, she felt like less of a woman because she wasn’t getting pregnant despite attempts to conceive. “Obviously, I’ve talked about my struggle with getting pregnant and I didn’t talk about it for a long time because I felt shameful,” she told the ladies on Tuesday’s episode. “I felt like she said. As a woman, you just think things happen naturally and I felt like I was damaged. I felt like I was broken. I felt like, oh well maybe I’m not good enough. Like literally, it’s a very sad, hurtful thing, but the more I held onto it the worse I actually felt about about myself. And people, since I’ve shared, people have been so sweet to me.
