Peter Rosenberg Says CThaGod Is “Bad For The Culture” Because Of Friendship With Tomi Lahren We celebrated when “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah eviscerated ignorant blonde “Blaze” host Tomi Lahren for all the world to see… But Tomi has been insistent that she’s not racist and has even been flaunting her friendship with “The Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne Tha God, despite cancelling on him. And while most of us definitely don’t find anything FUNNY about Lahren’s views on Black Lives Matters and other issues related to race, Charlamagne seems to be laughing over all the scrutiny on her and whether she thinks black peen matters. TMZ conveniently caught up with the pair after a meet up yesterday… But not everyone is amused. Amazon Responds to Anti-Muslim Rhetoric With Perfect Holiday Commercial

When one thinks of efforts to bridge the gap between people of different faiths and help our nation heal during times of widening divisions, Amazon probably isn't the first organization to come to mind. Nevertheless, the online retail giant has debuted a new holiday commercial that seems to be a direct response to the growing problem of Islamophobia in the Western World. Set in England, the ad features an Episcopal priest and a Muslim cleric enjoying tea and griping about shared ailments. Eventually they part company and use Amazon's Prime service to send one another presents. Each of them gets a knee brace in the mail (presumably with free shipping) and reflects fondly on their friendship as he slips on. The message is clear: Whether you're a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist or atheist – getting old sucks. We kid. As the priest and the cleric both kneel (now with less pain), it's clear that the ad intends to remind us that we're all more alike than we are different. Not to get all political in our description of a warm-and-fuzzy Amazon ad, but it's an important message during a time when the media has been forced to frequently use the phrase ” Muslin ban ” in its coverage of the guy who will soon be president. Interestingly, some advertising industry experts believe this to be the first commercial featuring a Muslim cleric ever to be broadcast on mainstream American television. “I can’t think of one. There are plenty of religious figures in televisions, especially sitcoms and police procedurals. But no ads with imams,” says Tobe Berkovitz, advertiser professor at Boston University. Toss out that giblet if the conversation gets too political during tomorrow's feast.

Tour Bus Loaded With 300 Kilos Of Cocaine Busted In Paraguay According to BusinessInsider , there are some folks in Rio who are in LOVE with the coco… Officials in Paraguay intercepted a tour bus loaded with 296 kilos of cocaine on its way to the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro on August 14. The bus, empty except for two men and the cocaine, was stopped on the Paraguay side of the Friendship Bridge, which connects Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, with Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, according to a report from Paraguayan news site ABC and first spotted by InSight Crime. Paraguayan authorities were tipped off that something was amiss with the bus — which still had the logos of a transport company — when they noticed that it had no passengers. Authorities charged two men, a 52-year-old and 46-year-old, with drug trafficking and other crimes. The cocaine, in 274 packets, was hidden in a meter-long, 20-centimeter-wide false bottom underneath a mini fridge. The bus was sold by VIPS Tours SA in late July, with the buyer promising to remove the logos. Upon examining the seized cocaine, officials determined that its likely origin was Colombia, the world’s largest producer of the drug. They said that it would have had a value of $3 million on the Brazil market, according to ABC. Authorities also seized cellphones and cash. Disney Removes All Alligator References From Their Theme Parks The folks at Disney are trying to clean up their image a bit in the wake of the alligator attack that left a 2-year-old boy dead , according to the NYPost . The family-friendly money machine is removing all images of alligators from their parks including cartoons, shows and displays. -Louis, the trumpet-playing gator from “The Princess and the Frog,” is no longer part of the Friendship Faire Castle show. -The Tic Toc Croc, who chases bad guy Captain Hook in “Peter Pan,” has been yanked from the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom. -And the Jungle Cruise boat ride no longer includes a corny one-liner from the captain telling parents to “watch your children, or the crocodiles will,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. Guess they figure parents won’t empty out their life savings to bring their kids to a place where they might die at the hands (and teeth) of a prehistoric-lookin’ beast. Via TMZ reports : Aisha Tyler’s husband Jeff Tietjens is pulling the plug on their 20 year marriage. Jeff finally filed divorce docs earlier this month in L.A. Superior Court. They’d been separated since January 2015. They got hitched in 1994 after being college sweethearts. Aisha has been vocal on “The Talk” about her and Jeff’s inability to conceive, but it’s unclear if that played a role in the breakup. He cited irreconcilable differences. Aisha’s rep, Lisa Morbete, tells TMZ although their marriage is ending, their friendship will continue. Jeff isn’t asking for spousal support now, but indicated in the docs he’s reserving the right to do so later. Liza Minnelli Reportedly Near Death Following Relapse

Hollywood legend Liza Minnelli has spent much of her life waging a highly-publicized battle with addiction. Now, friends and family fear that the 70-year-old star may have accepted defeat. According to Radar Online, Minnelli’s behavior has been causing concern amongst those in her inner circle in recent weeks. Sources say the actress and singer recently sold the Manhattan apartment where she resided for the past decade in order to move into a Los Angeles rental property with a staff of newly-hired assistants. Those closest to her reportedly fear that the recently-rehabbed star has been indulging her vices and doesn’t plan to live much longer. Of particular concern is a message that Minnelli recorded for fans last month that has the tone of a sad farewell: “I wouldn’t be who I am without you, any of you, and on top of that, I just remember all of the goodness and all of the kind wishes and the support and the friendship,” Minnelli said. “Thank you very, very much. I’ll never ever forget you.” “It was chilling listening to it,” said one friend. “Liza sounded like she was saying farewell. It was just heartbreaking. People have to be worried. Last month, Yolanda Foster and Lisa Rinna engaged in a Twitter feud over the ongoing question of whether or not Yolanda is really suffering from Lyme disease. It may seem like an odd thing to question, but Lisa is not alone in her belief that Yolanda might be faking the whole thing to gain attention and sympathy from others. And in defense of the Yolanda-truthers, there are some sketchy details that make it seem as though Yolanda is only pretending to be ill. For example, she recently revealed that two of her her children also have Lyme disease , which is bizarre, because the disease isn’t contagious through casual contact with infected humans, and is usually transmitted through deer tick bites. Did the entire family go camping and forget to bring the Off? Did Oswald act alone? Can jet fuel really melt steel beams?! We got a little carried away there, but the point is, the controversy over Yolanda’s illness is complex, and there’s a good chance it’ll never be resolved. But while theories about Elvis helping the Illuminati fake the moon landing are usually confined to the scarier corners of the Internet, the great Yolanda Lyme disease debate might soon take center stage on national television.
