Athletes Drinking Breast Milk For Increased Stamina, Better Health Breast milk is great for providing immune system-building nutrients to babies…but apparently healthy grown men are now ALSO hitting the mommy cream to boost their energy and improve overall health… Care for a sip? It IS all-natural after all. Via MailOnline : A number of male athletes are apparently turning to human breast milk as a natural alternative to energy drinks. Anthony, a 30-something athlete from Queens, New York, told NYMag.com that he’s met ‘a lot of guys’ at different gyms who consume ‘the good stuff’. He typically buys the rich and creamy fluid online, from sites including Only the Breast and Human Milk 4 Human Babies, for about $2.50 an ounce. The fitness fanatic says that it gives him ‘incredible energy’. Addressing critics who may brand him ‘weird’, he continued: ‘I don’t believe in steroids or other energy supplements, none of that garbage. ‘I want natural stuff that’s God-given, and if it’s okay with moms looking to get rid of [the breast milk], I’ll take it.’ Other less athletic men who drink breast milk agree that it makes them feel healthier. David, 42, from Brooklyn, told the site that he first drank breast milk three years ago in a bid to alleviate nausea caused by chemotherapy. He said that the ‘sweet’ and ‘ambrosial’ drink was an effective remedy. And Jason Nash, 55, who tasted breast milk when he and his wife welcomed their first baby, believes it staves off illness. Jan Barger, a lactation consultant, told NYmag.com that it is common for chemotherapy patients to drink breast milk because it’s easier to digest than the animal equivalent. However, she doubts that breast milk would offer benefits to healthy people since it’s designed to feed infants, not 200-pound-plus men. Um…GROSS! What’s wrong with just taking vitamins? According to RadarOnline reports : Tyra Banks is said to be furious that she was rejected for the recent Victoria’s Secret TV fashion special, RadarOnline.com has been told. According to a source, the former supermodel, 40, “was dying to appear on the runways as a surprise in the most recent CBS Victoria Secret Fashion Show” last December, “but was rejected by the brand and the network, despite her long affiliation with the company. She’s outraged and is threatening to never to work with Victoria’s Secret again.” Incredibly, Banks, who worked for Victoria’s Secret as one of their original “Angels” from 1997-2005 and created and began co-hosting the long-running TV hit America’s Next Top Model in 2003, was given an ageist-sounding reason for not making the cut, the source revealed. “Tyra’s feelings were hurt because the excuse she was given is that the audience likes to see the newest models, not the ‘veterans,’ on the runway during the VS TV show,” the source added. Banks, one of America’s most successful models, was the first African-American woman featured on GQ and the cover of Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. She’s also one of the few models to become a mogul, showing her business skill with America’s Next Top Model, which she’s preparing for its 21st cycle this summer on the CW. But apparently, Banks’ beauty isn’t valued by Victoria’s Secret anymore, the source noted. “Tyra doesn’t want to make a public spectacle out of the snub, because it would make all the parties involved look bad,” the source said. “But she isn’t happy.” Do you feel bad for her? Damn, Jody … Tyrese’s Baby Mom Says He Is An Unfit Father In Custody Battle According to TMZ reports : Tyrese Gibson claims his baby mama is using Paul Walker’s death to shame him in their child custody war … TMZ has learned. Norma Gibson filed court docs claiming Tyrese is a bad dad, who should have stayed in L.A. to spend time with their 6-year-old daughter after Paul Walker’s death … because he had time on his hands since “Fast & Furious 7″ was put on hold. Norma says Tyrese blew off his little girl, choosing instead to go “gallivanting throughout Dubai … staying in expensive hotels … partying on yachts, sky-diving with other movie stars, driving expensive cars, and making special appearances in night clubs.” But sources close to Tyrese say he’s indignant Norma is using Paul … and he went to Dubai on business. He had 4 gigs and he needed the money — ironically to pay the child support Norma was demanding. The court battle rages on later this month … when they each try and convince a court-appointed child evaluator who’s good and who’s evil. What the hell does Paul Walker have to do with the child?!
