AshLee Frazier: The Bachelor Front-Runner?

Lesley Murphy may have set a world record with Sean Lowe on The Bachelor last night, but the week truly belonged to AshLee Frazier. There were plenty of losers Monday night. AshLee Frazier was the opposite, grabbing Sean’s attention with her good looks – and back story. “There was something different about her that really made me take notice and I knew I wanted to spend more time with her,” says Sean in his blog . Sean says that he knew Ash would “share that compassion” he feels with Brianna and Emily, “the two girls who both suffer from chronic illnesses.” “I’m involved with two pediatric cancer foundations back home in Dallas, 1 Million 4 Anna and Micaela’s Army, and so this date pulled at my heartstrings.” “The day with Ashlee and the girls at Six Flags was incredible! We had so much fun and I took the most joy from watching how happy Emily and Brianna were.” “Their smiles made my heart melt.” Later, he says, Sean and AshLee “had time alone we needed to talk and really connect. She told me the story of her childhood and about the abuse she suffered.” “I don’t usually cry, but hearing her describe the day she met her father and how he told her he would love her forever brought me to tears.” “It was at that point that I understood where AshLee’s compassion comes from and I had a whole new appreciation for the person that she is.” “We finished the night dancing in front of one of my favorite bands, the Eli Young Band, and ended the evening with a very, very romantic kiss.” “AshLee quickly became a frontrunner and I knew I could fall in love with her.” As for that Guinness Record date with Lesley Murphy? “She was the perfect choice because I felt so comfortable around her from the beginning,” says Sean. “Women like Lesley are hard to find.” “She is not just sexy, smart and funny, but she’s also really easy to be around. I felt like I had known Lesley for years and it had only been two weeks.” “I thought kissing for more than three minutes would be awkward, especially since it took place on Hollywood Boulevard and in front of a crowd of people.” “But it wasn’t really. Time flew by and it was much more passionate than I thought it would be. I think that speaks to the chemistry we share.” Not everything went so smoothly last night, however. “I had no idea that there was any drama occurring between Amanda and Des, so I was surprised to hear Kacie bring it to my attention,” says Sean. “If I seemed frustrated when talking to Kacie, it’s because I was!” “I had a hard time understanding why Kacie decided to involve herself. After all, neither Amanda nor Des felt like they needed to say something.” “So why did Kacie? I felt like if anyone in the house should grasp the big picture, it was Kacie, yet she wasn’t. At the end of the night, it only felt right to give the rose to Lindsay.” Kacie was sent home as a result, while Lesley and AshLee remain in the hunt. Love & Hip-Hop: Soulja Boy Defends Diamond And Puts Lil Scrappy On Blast For Talking Isht About His Boo Thang!

..And in that order! Soulja Boy has defended his new girlfriend Diamond against comments made by her ex-boyfriend Lil Scrappy. Soulja, who was accompanied by Diamond to the 2012 BET Awards last weekend, believes that Scrappy was coming at him in the media recently when talking about his failed relationship with the ex-Crime Mob member: “This is my baby, this is my girl, so anything said about her is basically they’re saying it about me,” Soulja told MTV. “I’m backin’ her 100 percent, and we’re just focusing on the positive. Anybody talkin’ about her name on TV, that’s just bringin’ us up more. So salute to them, we wish them the best.” While Scrappy did mention both Diamond and Soulja in a previous interview, he actually wished them the best of luck. Things began to heat up last year when it was revealed that Diamond was dating Soulja Boy. It’s unclear whether she cheated on Scrappy or if her relationship with the Soulja Boy came after, but whatever the case, Scrap feels slighted. Scrappy said he helped Diamond get her rap career on track, putting her needs before his own, and after their breakup, he felt used. Plus, with the news Scrappy’s mom, Mama Dee reportedly ran Diamond off the filming of Love & Hip Hop ATL as well as talking about her “hygiene issues” on the show, we’re sure her presence is not missed. Do you think Soulja is being a real ride or die boyfriend by defending Diamond? Source

Jim Rash on Angelina Jolie Oscar Pose: A Loving Tribute!

It was easily the funniest moment of a dreadfully boring, uninspired Oscars broadcast : Immediately upon taking the stage to accept the award for Best Adapted Screenplay, along with his two co-writers, Jim Rash struck a pose very similar to the one of presented Angelina Jolie: hand on hip, right leg extended, chest puffed out. But the Community star insists he wasn’t actually mocking the A-lister, just showing his affection for her. “I just saw her pose and I thought, you know what, we have exactly the same legs,” Rash said to reporters backstage. “It was a loving tribute… It was more like, oh, she’s standing, great. I’m going to stand like that, too.” Whatever. It was hilarious. And, most importantly, it gives us a chance to remind viewers: Community returns on March 15 with new episodes. It now features an Oscar winner! Tune in.

Oscar 2012 Best Presenters: Robert Downey Jr., Bridesmaids, More

Co-stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis make a hilariously musical entrance, while Sandra Bullock shows off some impressive German. By Terri Schwartz Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow present at the 84th annual Academy Awards Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images There are typically two kinds of presenters at the Oscars : the earnest and the hilarious. But every year, a handful of actors manage to capture the goal of either category in a way that makes the moment unforgettable. On Sunday night, the Kodak Theatre saw plenty of earnest presenters. Natalie Portman, Colin Firth and Morgan Freeman reminded viewers why we love the Oscars. But it was the presenters with the funny bits who really stole the show. Whether comparing short films to male genitalia or tossing cymbals onstage when they should have been reading out the name of an award winner, we couldn’t stop chuckling. Here, the MTV Movies team handpicks the five most memorable presenters of the 2012 Oscars. Robert Downey Jr., Documentarian Trying to stay ahead of the curve, Robert Downey Jr. and a camera crew joined Gwyneth Paltrow onstage to present the Best Documentary award in an attempt to popularize his new art form, “live documentary.” Of course, as Paltrow pointed out, that’s called the news, but we couldn’t get enough of their Tony Stark/ Pepper Potts-style banter several months before “The Avengers” hits theaters. And we like that Downey joked that he turned down the role in “The Descendants” with George Clooney looking on from the crowd. Emma Stone Is Super Good Yes, Emma Stone is charming, but we were still surprised at how well she pulled off the task of co-presenting Best Visual Effects alongside Ben Stiller. First-time Oscar presenter Stone acted out her skit flawlessly and even managed to poke fun at Stiller’s previous presenting stunts in the process. But it was her asking “Superbad” co-star Jonah Hill to come onstage and dance with her — and his subsequent refusal — that made this one of the funniest moments of the night. Sandra Bullock Is “Extremely” Bilingual Did you know Sandra Bullock was bilingual? It certainly made her presenting the Oscar for Best Foreign Film all the more fitting. And although the actress said she was going to present the award in Mandarin, Bullock actually announced the award in German. For those who wondered about the Academy’s motivation for having the “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” star present in a different language, it turns out it was because the Academy Awards “are an international show and because there are over 1.2 billion people in China.” So why not? Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis Make Music Leave it to the stars of the upcoming political comedy “The Campaign,” Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, to make one of the funniest and most dramatic appearances of the night. Dressed in all-white tuxedos, the duo emerged from the orchestra pit smashing cymbals together. Because how else do you expect comedians to present the award for Best Original Song? Fortunately, winner Bret McKenzie also had a good sense of humor in his acceptance speech for “The Muppets” song “Man or Muppet.” “Bridesmaids” Stars Toast Scorsese Again Who else but the cast of “Bridesmaids” could make presenting the three short-film categories one of the most hilarious of the night? Sure, Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph’s whole opening spiel was one big penis joke, but can you expect any less when Melissa McCarthy earned her Oscar nomination for a part that featured her comically defecating in a sink? We’re still trying to figure out what the rules of Rose Byrne and McCarthy’s Martin Scorsese drinking game are, but we’ll let you know when we do. The MTV Movies team has the 2012 Oscars covered!
