The March issue has Jennifer on the cover in little more than blue paint and silicone makeup as the sexy shapeshifter. Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is a hot commodity these days. We’ve already seen Aaron Eckhart as Frankenstien’s monster and it was just announced that James McAvoy will be joining Paul McGuigan’s adaptation of the classic. McAvoy joins Daniel Radcliffe, who signed on as Igor back in March. The film’s screenwriter, Max Landis, has said that this version of Frankenstein will be “funny, sad, scary, and moving.” The as of yet untitled project is tentatively planned for a 2014 opening. Lauryn Hill is speaking out from behind bars, where she’s doing three months for tax evasion , in a new letter she penned thanking her fans for support. Hill, who was sentenced on July 8 for failing to pay $1 million in taxes over the past decade, also talked a bit about her experience in prison so far. Hill’s team shared the message on her Tumblr , explaining that she can’t personally answer all the fan mail she’s received, but she appreciates it. “Ms. Hill receives a lot mail, and would like to let everyone know that she is doing well,” her page reads. “She also asked me to pass along this message: “I have known since very young to look for the purpose and lesson in everything, including the trials. Although it has taken some adjustment, I cannot deny the favor I have encountered while in here, and general warm reception from a community of people who despite their circumstances, have found unique ways to make the best of them. Thank you for the letters of concern and well wishes that I receive in the mail every day. Although I may not be able to write everyone back, please know that they have been received, read, acknowledged, and appreciated. With Love back, MLH” Lauryn Hill also listed the names of dozens of fans who have personally written to her, thanking them “for their words of encouragement and support.” Not as combative as previous Lauryn Hill rants , but maybe that’s a good thing. She should be out of federal prison in Danbury, Conn., where she resides in open dormitory-style living quarters and does manual labor, by October.

Captain America and company learned the title of their sequel, The Avengers: Age of Ultron Dawn of the Planet of the Apes released the first image of Cesar . A new Kick-Ass 2 redband trailer showcased a bit of that violence Jim Carrey is not okay with. Electro was properly introduced in the The Amazing Spider-Man 2 teaser trailer . The entire cast of X-Men : Days of Future Past was introduced. Andrew Garfield is a big fan of the new Spidey suit … for good reasons. Tom Hiddleston proved he is Loki at the Marvel panel.
