Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 7 Recap: Tyrion & Daenerys – Together at Last!

In the week since Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 6 scandalized viewers with an unexpected rape scene, critics of the show have called for a boycott, while Thrones enthusiasts have continued to insist that the show is no more shocking than it’s ever been. Of course, all of this is unlikely to change the way showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff approach their source material, and while last night’s installment was completed several months before the latest GoT controversy, it serves as a reminder that Westeros will forever remain a bloody and brutal place. Watch Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 7 Online We begin with a reminder of Jon Snow’s big risk (Taking a ride with some Wildlings? What could go wrong!), and the surprisingly affecting death of Aemon Targaryen. (“I dreamed I was old.” All the feels.) Aemon’s was the rare peaceful demise on GoT, but it signaled the start of some serious trouble for Sam. More on that later. Speaking of sad, horrible things, Sansa’s marriage to Ramsay is going about as horrifically as everyone expected. When your best chance for a rescue is Theon/Reek, you know you’re in dire straits, and the eldest Stark daughter’s hope is snuffed out like a candle when the former Greyjoy heir proves predictably unable to defy his new master. Many fans were skeptical when Weiss and Benioff made the decision to have Sansa marry Ramsay (In George R.R. Martin’s books, one of Sansa’s friends served as Ramsay’s bride/victim.) but regardless of one’s feelings about Sansa’s suffering, the stakes have certainly been raised, and the action at Winterfell has proven to be this season’s most white-knuckle storyline.  Meanwhile, Stannis – the only real threat to Ramsay’s cruel reign in the North – is doing some suffering of his own. In addition to the difficulties brought about by the impending winter (Finally!), his side-piece/advisor is counseling him to sacrifice his own daughter in order to ensure victory over the Boltons. Not even king yet, and the man is already being already being forced to make Solomon-esque judgment calls! Back at the Wall, Gilly receives the inevitable unwanted attention from some Brothers of the Night’s Watch and Sam once again proves his worth. This time, he’s rewarded handsomely. Does anyone in the Watch take that celibacy vow seriously? View Slideshow: Game of Thrones: Season 5 Episode 7 Photos Speaking of unexpected badasses, we’re then treated to another classic Tyrion moment as he whups the ass of an overzealous slaver. With that, he and Jorah are finally off to Meereen to take their turn in the fighting pits. Sounds like fun! Speaking of Meereen, the Khaleesi is soon to marry Hizdar, but  she’s still banging Daario, and it seems that she’s once again feeling the burden of being queen as her lover reminds her that “all rulers are either butchers or meat.” Of course, in Dany’s case it’s butchers or meat horribly charred by dragon’s breath. At least one authority figure remains perfectly comfortable with his power, as the High Sparrow squares off with Olenna Tyrell in King’s Landing without a care for her threats or her considerable clout.  Meanwhile, Tommen continues to wear his crown as awkwardly as ever, as he pines for his imprisoned wife. He still can’t figure out how to regain his diminishing power, but he’s gained the strength to face off his mother’s eternally cocked eyebrow. Cersei’s tears reveal it’s not just her power that she hopes to protect with her wicked maneuvering. Unfortunately for the Queen Mum, Lady Tyrell still has a valuable ally in Lord Baelish, who uses his knowledge of the Queen Mother’s past dalliances to deliver an epic comeuppance, as well as one of the most satisfying scenes in GoT history. Down in Dorne, Cersei’s brother/baby daddy is less effective in his argument with Myrcella, while compelling Tyene Sand in her tete-a-tete with Bronn. Poison and boobs are apparently quite the combination. Daenerys is about as thrilled with Meereenese fighting pits as everyone (with the exception of Hizdar) would’ve expected. She’s even less thrilled by the sight of Jorah Mormont. We don’t get to see Dany’s reaction to the “gift” of Tyrion Lannister, but the audience has been waiting for this moment since season one. While we’ll have to wait a week to see our first real convo between the Mother of Dragons and the Only Likable Lannister, the epsiode ends on a supremely satisfying note as Cersei is tossed in the dungeon by the same religious zealots she empowered. Will she finally get what’s been coming to her for five seasons? Will two fan favorites join forces to claim the Iron Throne once and for all? Watch Game of Thrones online to find out!

Paris Hilton Releases Latest, Terrible Music Video

Paris Hilton is really trying to make this singing career thing work. The former sex tape star, who faked an orgasm on stage during a performance this spring, has released the music video for “High Off My Love,” an upbeat track that features Birdman and which somehow nabbed the top spot on Billboard's Real Time chart soon after it came out. The 34-year old is featured in the footage, rocking tight-fitting clothing and knee-high boots while belting out such winning lyrics as: So you think I'm bad, babe/And you keep acting like you want me/ I don't need a little boy/You better turn it up just a little more. The song won't win Hilton any Grammys, but it is better any attempt  Kim Kardashian  has ever made to sing. Check out the video above and then compare it to that for Hilton's previous track, ” Come Alive .”

12 Most Shocking Game of Thrones Deaths: Where Do the Season 5 Demises Rank?

Every season of Game of Thrones is packed with jaw-dropping violence, and season 5 has been no exception.  Over the years we've seen beheadings, poisonings, death by infected boo-boo (RIP, Khal Drogo ), a man getting shot by an arrow while being burned (pour one out for Mance Rayder ), even the old “molten gold dumped over the head” trick. With all of these memorable demises, it was hard to pick just a few vicious send-offs for our list, but here are the torture sessions and Valyrian steel run-ins that really kept us up nights. Enjoy!   1. Viserys Gets Crowned Viserys was up there with King Joffrey in terms of douchebags we loved to hate. Even so, his death by molten gold is tough to watch. 2. The Death of King Joffrey Joffrey’s death wasn’t particularly gory but it WAS unexpected. And it certainly wasn’t unwelcome. 3. The Red Wedding Possibly the most shocking moment the series has offered up thus far. That GRRM certainly knows how to shock and appall. 4. Oberyn Martell vs. The Mountain Surely, one of the most gruesome deaths in the history of television. We even feel bad for the witnesses. 5. Tyrion Gets His Revenge Tywin and Shae learned a valuable lesson: Don’t mess with the Imp. Unfortunately, it’s too late for them to do anything with that knowledge. 6. Mande Rayder Swekered at His Own Barbecue! Mance Rayder was spared a brutal death on Game of Thrones. He still died, of course…it just wasn’t quite as brutal. View Slideshow

Game of Thrones: Season 5 Episode 5 Photos: Please Ramsay, Don’t Hurt Her!

Well, we've made it. We're at the midway point for Game of Thrones fifth season, and so far, we're not too terribly traumatized. Sure the loss of [SPOILER ALERT] Barristan Selmy was tough to take, but at least we haven't had to watch too much horrific torture.  Sadly, we get the feeling that might change this week, thanks to the unholy union between Ramsay Bolton and Sansa Stark . 1. Tyrion is Terrified Tyrion looks scared. We guess that boat trip with Jorah Mormont isn’t going as smoothly as he had hoped. 2. Ramsay Bolton and Sansa Stark “So how’s your meal? By the way, is that severed boar’s head making anyone else feel torture-y?” Ugh. This isn’t gonna end well. 3. Shireen Baratheon Hits the Road Yes, the grey scale is unfortunate. But as one of the few GoT characters to ever demonstrate genuine warmth and compassion, she might be more beautiful than anyone else on the show. 4. Jon Snow Glares “You know nothing, Jon Snow.” “Yes, I do. I know how to rock all black like nobody’s business!” 5. Ramsay and Roose Bolton What a nice bonding moment. Unlike most fathers and sons, however, these two are probably discussing the best methods for skinning a man alive. 6. Brienne is Pissed Brienne never really looks happy, but here she seems downright pissed. Someone is about to get cut in half. View Slideshow

Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 3 Photos: Say Hi to the High Sparrow!

Thus far, season 5 of Game of Thrones has given us a the death of a Wildling king , the promise of two fan favorites finally crossing paths, and some seriously disobedient dragons. Thanks to teasers and interviews with the cast, we have some idea of what to expect going forward (including more torture from Ramsay Bolton . Oh, please don’t let it be this week! We’re not ready!), but if the GoT showrunners have taught us anything thus far, it’s that they’ve always got plenty of surprises up their baggy maester’s sleeves. We already showed you the teaser for Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 3 , now we present some spoiler-free (we think) photos to further whet your appetite: View Slideshow: Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 3 Photos As far as we can tell, it’s shaping up to be a rough week for Cersei. Not only is Margaery Tyrell about to de-throne her by marrying Tommen, but her resilient brother Tyrion is on the road to forming an alliance with the Khaleesi herself. Of course, Cersei’s second-creepster-in-command, Qyburn, also makes an appearance in this episode, so maybe she’s got something in store for her rivals. Unfortunately, it looks as though Ramsay will also rear his ugly head this week, so don’t say we didn’t warn you about the nightmare fuel that’s sure to be coming your way. Watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic if you still need to get caught up in time for the episode three, and check out our list of season five’s newest characters for a glimpse of the badasses you might be meeting on Sunday night. Alfie Allen: Ramsay Bolton Tortures Another Character on Season 5 of Game of Thrones and It’s "Hard to Watch"

Remember in season 3 of Game of Thrones when Ramsay Snow took Theon Greyjoy captive, tortured him for an entire season and eventually lopped his dong off? Yeah, we tried to erase it from our memories too, but no luck! Anyway, it looks like we’re in for more of the same this season, as the sadist (now Ramsay Bolton) and the victim (now Reek) have defied the odds and stuck it out as the most dysfunctional, one-sided couple on TV since Jon and Kate Gosselin! Of course, Ramsay has already broken Theon’s mind (That’ll happen when you eat sausage in front of a wang-less man.), so he now has bigger fish to torture.  But just because he’s done pretty much the worst things imaginable to Reek (Did we mention the wang?), that doesn’t mean Ramsay’s through messing with the guy. It seems that Mr. Bolton is now taking a two-for-one approach by torturing a different character and making Theon (and us) watch. In a recent interview, Alfie Allen spilled the beans about what Game of Thrones Season 5 has to offer in terms of torture porn. Hope you’re not a fan of sleeping at night! “There’s something that happens about halfway through this season that is really going to make huge waves, and people aren’t going to be happy about it,” Allen says in a recent interview. “It’s hard to watch. I bear witness to this thing, and it’s crazy, sort of having to portray how messed up everyone’s situation is through my own reactions to what happens. Get ready for it.” Pressed for details, Allen says, “There’s this one character who crosses both of our paths, and [Ramsay] certainly enjoys tormenting this character. It can be tough to watch for some people, without a doubt.” Book readers likely already know which character incurs Ramsay’s wrath (Keep da spoilers outta da comments, youse guys!), but for the rest of us, it’ll come as a shock…a revolting, nightmare fueling shock. Watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic to make sure you’re all caught up in time for the next round of horror. View Slideshow: 9 Shocking Game of Thrones Deaths
