Lindsay Lohan turned 28 today , and to celebrate, the troubled actress is turning the table in court. Instead of Lohan being charged with grand theft , today she sued the makers of the Grand Theft Auto V video game. Lindsay threatened to sue GTA V several months ago, claiming that the character of Lacey Jonas is based on her likeness and public image, and that a drawing of a bikini-clad woman on the front of the game’s case was made to look like her. Specifically, Lohan’s lawyers claim that the photo on the left – in which a bleary-eyed Lohan rocks a bikini and ankle monitor – served as the basis for the image on the right. Can someone please explain to Lindsay that she’s not the first person to rock blonde hair and a bikini? As for Lacey Jonas – yes, the character’s name and storyline bring Lindsay to mind (Jonas is a troubled starlet looking to evade the paprazzi), but lawyers for Rockstar Games have already offered the valid explanation that the character is both a parody (which is fully permissible under the law), and a composite of several starlets including Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. So basically, this whole thing serves as further confirmation that Lindsay Lohan is a delusional egomaniac who’s just not very bright.
