Rick Ross and Young Jeezy’s long-festering feud has come to an end, thanks to the negotiating skills of fellow rapper T.I., who brokered a peace treaty. Rick Ross vs. Young Jeezy The rappers’ feud goes a long way back, but is most notable for the nuclear fight that broke out at the BET Hip Hop Awards two years ago (above). They mixed it up backstage with their crews and shots were fired in the parking lot during the Rick Ross-Young Jeezy fight . No one was killed, thankfully. Those days are ancient history now, in any case, and T.I. is responsible. Their fellow rapper, who knows a thing or two about running afoul with the law himself, had a heart-to-heart with Jeezy and got him to see the light . T.I.’s point was that focusing on bad blood rather than makin’ bank is a waste of time and energy, plus it may even get you injured or killed. Smart man. Jeezy reached out to Rick, who ended up seeing things the same way. Not only that, they’re even working together on a new track. Like Chris Brown and Drake , it looks like this feud reached an amicable, money-making end! Who would have guessed?! George Zimmerman-DMX Fight: Canceled!

George Zimmerman’s controversial celebrity boxing match against DMX has been canceled amidst heavy criticism, according to the event’s promoter. George Zimmerman: Celebrity Boxing Star! DMX Mug Shots: The Epic Gallery Damon Feldman announced the fight’s cancelation on Twitter on Saturday and apologized for offending anyone with this proposed clash of titans. “The George Zimmerman fight is canceled,” he wrote, adding “I’m sorry for anyone I hurt with this but this was a very big opportunity thank you.” Feldman said there’s “more to life then money” and that he “just looked at my son and daughter today wow I’m so lucky those people must be in so much pain.” “All you people are right.” Give the guy credit for his conscience kicking in and pulling the plug on the Zimmerman-DMX fight … but “those people” was probably not the best word choice. In any case, Feldman called it off , putting an end to the shameless effort by Zimmerman to cash in on his quasi-celeb status before it even began. Zimmerman, of course, was found not guilty in July 2013 for the infamous, fatal 2012 shooting of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Florida. George wanted to fight Kanye in Celebrity Boxing but settled for DMX, one of thousands of people to show serious interest in getting in the ring with him. DMX vowed to beat the f–k out of George , then urinate on his face, but looks like he will no longer get the chance to do as he boasted he would. Sigh. A rep for the rapper said Saturday: “We thank you for all of the support from DMX’s fans. This situation will not affect any of DMX’s upcoming concerts in America or around the world.” Probably just as well. Give Matt Peterson plenty of props for trying. The Arizona high school student asked Miley Cyrus to the prom last week, stripping down to nearly nothing while doing so. A long-time fan, Peterson met the singer years ago at a radio station and tells Miley in the following video: “You changed my life, and I want to repay you by giving you the best night of your life.”  Teenager Asks Miley Cyrus to Prom Sadly, though, he won’t get the chance. “Dear Matt Peterson, I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to prom BUT why don’t you come to my AZ show & hang w me? Super Bowl Rigged? Conspiracy Theorists, Satire Article Suggest Broncos Tanked

Sunday night’s Super Bowl XLVIII result was certainly a joke, but was it rigged? The online conspiracy theorists are swarming following the lopsided outcome. The Seattle Seahawks didn’t just beat the Denver Broncos, they absolutely demolished them in every conceivable facet of the NFL championship game. It was not as close as the score suggests … and the score was 43-8. Super Bowl Rigged? Obviously, this has given way to the obligatory chatter that the Super Bowl was rigged, and Huzlers, site with an Onion-like penchant for satire, fueled the fire. Huzlers posted a “breaking” story this week with the headline “Super Bowl XLVIII Believed to Have Been Rigged and Currently Under Investigation by NFL.” Because few people know what Huzlers is, people believed this. The story claimed NFL officials “found clues that might prove the game was rigged” and imply Denver “lost the championship in exchange for a large amount of money.” The report goes on to say that ref Terry McAulay overheard Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning asking Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, “When are you going to pay up?” Of course, there is no evidence that the game was fixed or rigged, despite the first snap of the game almost decapitating Manning in hilarious fashion. Huzlers identifies itself as “a combination of real shocking news and satire news to keep its visitors in a state of disbelief.” It’s clearly not a real story. Still, the mismatch was almost laughable, and Denver’s comedy of errors – see video above – certainly made it look like they weren’t trying at times. Seriously, were they even trying to tackle the Seahawks? Did someone send hookers to the Broncos’ hotel the night before? Did they all see the Jamie Casino Super Bowl ad on YouTube and lose their focus? Rigged or not, something was definitely up.

Demi Lovato Reacts to Philip Seymour Hoffman Death: Addiction is a DISEASE!

Jared Padalecki may wish to consult Demi Lovato before sending his next Tweet. Not long after Philip Seymour Hoffman died of a drug overdose, the Supernatural star said his fellow actor’s passing did not qualify as a “tragedy” because he “[threw] his life away to drug. Padalecki even called the death “stupid.” But Lovato, of course, knows a lot about addiction. She went to rehab a couple years ago and has been open since about her history of eating disorders and drug use. “I wish more people would lose the stigma and treat addiction as the deadly and serious DISEASE that it is,” Lovato wrote in response to Hoffman’s death, adding: “Drugs are not something to glamorize in pop music or film to portray as harmless recreational fun. … It’s very rare when people can actually predict their addiction and even then, you never know when too much is going to take their life or take a bad batch of whatever it is their using.” Lovato knows of what she speaks. The artist admits to snorting cocaine on airplanes during the very worst of times a few years ago. “This stuff is not something to mess with,” she Tweets of drugs in general. “Why risk it? Addiction IS a disease. Please spread the word so we can take the taboo out of discussing this illness and raising awareness to people of all ages. “RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman.. An INCREDIBLE artist who lost his life to this horrible disease.. May you rest peacefully and in complete serenity now that your pain is gone. God Bless…” Bravo, Demi. Fresh off performing with Macklemore , Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert – while Queen Latifah married over 30 same-sex couples – Madonna has booked her next collaboration. And it will take place tonight! With Miley Cyrus! Insiders confirm to E! News and Us Weekly that the Material Girl and the Wrecking Ball rider will tape a duet this evening as part of Miley’s Unplugged special on MTV. The show itself will then air on Wednesday at 9/8c. Milk may be a bad choice on a hot day, but Morgan Hoffmann made an excellent decision during this weekend’s Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego. Teeing off from the classy city made famous by Ron Burgundy, the second-year golf pro paid tribute to a few Anchorman quotes via his set of wedges. “Got my wedges all dialed in for this week @VokeyWedges #sandiego #anchorman,” Hoffman wrote as a caption to the following image, whose presence on social media escalated quickly since the picture went live.
