LAUFEN, Germany (AP) — When Regina Mayer’s parents dashed her hopes of getting a horse, the resourceful 15-year-old didn’t sit in her room and sulk. Instead, she turned to a cow called Luna to make her riding dreams come true. Hours of training, and tons of treats, cajoling and caresses later, the results are impressive: not only do the two regularly go on long rides through the southern German countryside,… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : The Blaze Discovery Date : 05/04/2011 21:41 Number of articles : 2

New York City dating author J.C. Davies says that Latino men are macho and possessive, Asian men are bad in bed, black men hate it when you talk about Al Sharpton, and Indian men smell like curry — but, she says, she’s not racist. “No one has the balls to write about sex and culture in a real way,” said Davies, author of the new book “I Got the Fever: Love, What’s Race Gotta Do With It?” “You have to make it super-p.c. and be the professor of blah-de-blah and have charts and graphs. The expectation is that [black men] are great in the sack and have huge equipment — don’t people really wanna know? Is the equipment super-sized? Let’s just go ask some people!” (Answer: some, not all — just as with most everything in life.) Davies, 42, describes her own ethnicity as “poor white trash” (she’s actually part Croatian, Welsh and German). She worked as a stock-options analyst for Goldman Sachs until she was laid off in October. Devastated and facing foreclosure on her Midtown condo, she was inspired to write her (self-published) book — complete with cover photo of her surrounded by a multicultural array of shirtless male models — when a friend suggested she “write about dating black guys.” “My first black boyfriend, he was a Republican, and I guess most people, because he was so corporate and wore a suit, would say he was an Oreo.” Davies doesn’t seem to realize that this is both an offensive and decidedly outdated term, but that’s the way she speaks — kind of like Jerry Seinfeld’s casually racist girlfriend on the infamous “Anti-Dentite” episode of “Seinfeld.” It also doesn’t seem to register that fetishizing other races is a form of racism. Moving on: Davies maintained that her book is researched and reported, based on hundreds of interviews (with people who are not fully named), and her own interracial dating experiences. She may have gone too far, Davies admitted, in writing, “Beware of the JAPs” (JAP is an acronym for the derogatory term “Jewish American Princess”). “I kind of went a little crazy there,” she said. “I have my own personal issues with the JAPs. My boyfriend’s three best friends are JAPs.” Speaking of: Is her boyfriend — an Iranian Jew — offended that, in the book, she describes his expression in bed as “terrorist face”? “He doesn’t mind that,” Davies said — only when she calls him “a Jewish hoarder.” What a slore. Only an “oreo” would date this broad. SMH. This crazy beyotch calls her own boyfriend “terrorist face,” imagine what kind of nicknames she might give their future kids!!! Oh and get this, these are the section titles in the book: Salsa Fever, Yellow Fever, Jungle Fever, Curry Fever and Shiksa Fever! What is wrong with this ho!?!?!? Source
Very Excited Schoolgirls Outside Hotel Where They Believe Justin Bieber To Be , originally uploaded by infomatique . I was walking along the Quays today when I was approached by two girls who asked what newspaper I worked for and if I could arrange for them to meet “Justin”. I had no idea what they were talking about until a very attractive slightly older German girl explained to me that the girls were trying to track down an young American pop star who was on tour, she thought that it was very sweet and amusing. The hotel owned by U2 can be seen in the background. — here is some information from Wikipedia — Justin Drew Bieber is a Canadian pop/R&B singer-songwriter and actor. Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun who happened to come across Bieber’s videos on YouTube and later became his manager. Braun arranged for him to meet with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bieber was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher, and then to a recording contract with Island Records offered by L.A. Reid. His debut single, “One Time”, released worldwide in 2009, peaked in the top ten in Canada and charted in the top thirty in several international markets. The leaders of the free world have made their support for the people of Libya clear. Now, President Obama has made it official. Obama for the first time called for Khadafy to step down as the UN Security Council hit the embattled strongman with stiff sanctions. “When a leader’s only means of staying in power is to use mass violence against his own people, he has lost the legitimacy to rule and needs to do what is right for his country by leaving now,” Obama told German Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to a summary of the conversation provided by the White House. Obama’s blunt message marked a departure for the White House, which had earlier insisted it was up to the Libyan people to decide who should lead their country. Hours after Obama’s pronouncement, the council ordered an arms embargo, assets freeze and travel ban against the Libyan government, Khadafy, his close family and associates. It also ordered a crimes against humanity investigation into the bloodshed. Khadafy, earlier in the day, signaled he had no intention of giving up power as he handed out guns to his supporters and urged teams of young men to hunt down dissidents. Terrified anti-government protestors braced themselves for more bloody battles as gunfire continued to ring out across the capital. Condemnation mounted from world leaders the day after Obama authorized U.S. sanctions against Libya, with Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi saying it appeared Khadafy was no longer in control. The dictator’s son, Seif al-Islam, dismissed suggestions the country was slipping from his father’s hands, saying three-quarters of the country remains under government rule and was “living in peace.” He added that if anti-government demonstrations by “terrorists” do not end, Libya risks descending into civil war “like Somalia.” News filtering out of Libya painted an entirely different picture as new details emerged of the violent methods used to quash the protesters in recent days. The New York Times reported loyal Khadafy forces shot at people from within ambulances and used anti-aircraft guns against crowds. Witnesses said the dead and injured were being rounded up and taken from hospitals to cover up the alleged human rights abuses. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said more than 1,000 people have died in the unrest in Libya, but it has been impossible to establish an exact death toll. Do you think this means U.S. troops will be heading to Libya in the immediate future? That’s what it’s sounding like to us… Source

Christopher Monger, the Emmy-nominated co-writer of HBO’s ‘Temple Grandin,’ will direct. By Eric Ditzian Daniel Radcliffe Photo: Alberto E. Rodriguez/ Getty Images At the same time that Daniel Radcliffe readies to return to Broadway — previews of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” begin on February 26 — the 21-year-old actor is continuing to plot his post-“Harry Potter” career on the big screen. Radcliffe is now attached to star in “The Amateur Photographer,” an indie comedy from writer/director Christopher Monger, according to Variety . Monger shared writing credits on HBO’s “Temple Grandin,” the biopic that earned him an Emmy nomination and Claire Danes a Golden Globe win. Set in a New England mill town during the 1970s, the movie will follow Radcliffe as a young man who finds in himself an unlikely artistic streak when he begins photographing the “most intimate moments” of the townspeople’s lives, as Variety puts it, and ends up battling “local authorities while bringing a bit of a velvet revolution to the community.” Radcliffe has already wrapped production on his first film following the completion of the “Harry Potter” series. “The Woman in Black” is a thriller in which Radcliffe plays a lawyer who travels to a strange town filled with supernatural secrets. The Brit has also lined up another big-screen project in “All Quiet on the Western Front.” He’s set to play a German soldier during World War I when the production kicks off in the spring of 2012. And come July, he’ll be busy with promotional duties for the final part of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” For now, though, Radcliffe is settling in on Broadway. After a month of previews, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” will officially open on March 27.
