Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Start The New Year Off United 2017 is starting off really well for the Wests! We were excited to learn that Kimmy Cakes and Kanye took a family trip this New Year’s to Oklahoma City with their kids Saint and North . Their stay included visiting with members of West’s family and a group outing to Donda West’s grave. The family returned to L.A. by private jet Monday. TMZ says their Kimye sources claim it was the first time Kanye had taken the whole family to see where Donda West is buried: Kanye’s been very present with Kim and the kids over the last weeks as he recovers from his breakdown — and we’re told this family pilgrimage was extremely important to him. We can imagine this trip probably went a long way toward helping him heal. Kim seems to be coming around too. The reality star just released new updates to her Kim Kardashian West app and kicked off the new year with an exclusive family video. Hit the flip to see it!

Kanye West Is Creating New Music Following His Hospitalization Kanye West is free from the confines of the hospital and according to TMZ his creativity is free from the confines of his depressed and paranoid brain. We previously reported that ‘Ye had brought studio equipment to his hospital room because he wanted to continue working while he was in his manic state. Sources close to him say he believes that these traumatic episodes bring out the best in him musically. It’s said that he’s even comparing this latest episode to his infamous car accident and his mother passing. Now that Kanye is back to taking his proper medication he’s been much more stable and may be well on his way to finishing a new album much sooner than later. We know Kanye had announced that he and Drake were recording a joint album, but hope for that project was somewhat dashed when he was hospitalized. Kim Kardashian To Make Public Debut Tonight We’ve been pretty concerned about Kim Kardashian West since the armed robbery during Paris Fashion Week drove the normally very public reality star to pretty much go undercover. While recent reports claimed Kim was still 100% traumatized from the incident in Paris, there’s now word she may be planning her first public appearance at the Angel Ball in NYC tonight. “She is expected to appear,” an insider told Page Six. Kardashian, 36, will join her siblings Rob, Kourtney and Khloé and her mom, Kris, to honor her late father, Robert Kardashian, at Cipriani Wall Street. Kim has popped up at husband Kanye West‘s concerts since she was robbed, but this will be her first high-profile event since the robbery. “People were working on convincing her to come last week. She would join the family on stage to accept the award, but who knows if she will speak for the family,” another source said. We can confirm that Kim took an early flight out of Van Nuys this morning. She was photographed boarding a private jet just hours after husband Kanye West’s latest meltdown. Angelina Jolie Gets Temporary Custody Of 6 Kids Angelina has won big time in the custody case of their 6 kids according to TMZ reports. The Brangelina divorce has turned up a few more notches as Brad voluntarily submitted to a drug test to dispel rumors that marijuana and alcohol have impaired his judgement as a parent. Sources sources close to the couple say DCFS has made its suggestions and Brad and Angelina had 2 options. Either take the deal or fight it out in court… — Angelina gets temporary physical custody of the 6 kids until Oct 20th. — Brad gets visitation, with strings attached. The initial visit is with a therapist present and the therapist then has the power to either allow Brad subsequent unmonitored visits or insist on being present whenever he’s around the kids. — Brad is subject to random drug/alcohol testing. As we reported, Angelina believes Brad has issues with alcohol and weed. Our law enforcement sources say Brad’s first test was negative for drugs and alcohol. — Brad and Angelina will each submit to individual counseling. In addition, Brad, Angelina and the kids will undergo family counseling together. Brad’s drug results have yet to come in but we hope the Hollywood couple can put aside their petty beef for the sake of their young children. WENN

Mexican Superstar Singer-Songwriter Juan Gabriel Dead At The Age Of 66 Mexican superstar Juan Gabriel has passed away after entertaining generations of people for years according to NPR reports Juan Gabriel, a singular superstar who transcended borders and the trappings of gender with meticulously crafted pop songs and a flamboyant showmanship that earned the nickname the “divo of Juarez,” has died, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. Juan Gabriel was 66 years old and he was found at a residence in Santa Monica with no apparent foul play. Mexican President Enrique Peña-Nieto tweeted his condolences calling him one of the country’s “greatest musical icons.” “His music is a legacy for the world,” Peña Nieto said. “He has left us too soon. May he rest in peace.” Juan Gabriel wrote pop songs and rock songs. He sang with mariachis and full-blown orchestras, producing dozens of hits. Other artists recorded his songs and on occasion he recorded theirs. He recently covered Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Have You Ever Seen the Rain. Juan Manuel Caipo, who produced that album, said it showed what a chameleon the singer-songwriter was. Caipo says in that sense Juan Gabriel was a lot like Prince. Bill Cosby’s Legal Team Just Got One Black Woman Shorter Monique Pressley , the black woman a part of Bill Cosby’s legal team, has decided to call it quits. The Root reported that Pressley is the second attorney to leave the comic’s legal team since he’s been accused of sexually assaulting a number of women. As of now, the reason for her departure is unknown. A couple of months ago, high-powered attorney Monique Pressley helped Bill Cosby into a courtroom. But now it seems as though Pressley has had a change of heart when it comes to representing the man charged with drugging and sexually assaulting a Pennsylvania woman. Earlier this week, Pressley removed herself from Cosby’s legal team, making her the second attorney to do so over the last year. Pressley has not said why she’s dropped Cosby as a client, but needless to say, Cosby hasn’t had a good history when it comes to keeping his legal team intact. Cosby is currently facing criminal charges in Pennsylvania in the sexual assault of Andrea Constand in 2004. Pressley was a key member, often making public appearances to defend her client.
