Chris Kirkpatrick is a married man. The NSYNC alum, 42, tied the knot with Karly Skladany Saturday, and all of his fellow former band mates were groomsmen! Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass were on hand to celebrate Kirkpatrick and Skladany, who have been together three years. Kirkpatrick, who reunited with NSYNC at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 25 in JT’s honor, looked forward to another reunion on his big day. “They’re all coming to my wedding, so we’ll get to see each other again,” he told Rolling Stone in August. “Everything goes back. It’s like old times.” Chris is more than content being least famous of the fab five, and has always shunned extravagant displays of wealth, a fact that remains true to this day. Lance told a great story leading up to the wedding this week. “Can you believe Chris Kirkpatrick is getting married?” Bass said on his Sirius XM radio show Tuesday. “He just never seemed like the marrying type.” Kirkpatrick never liking the “finer things” in life, Bass said, and “What’s really hilarious to me is that we went to get fitted for our tuxes at Men’s Warehouse.” “He got us the cheapest tuxes there he could possibly get, which I think is so Chris and very lovely,” Bass joked of his good friend. “I mean that’s just who he is.” Bass added of another former NSYNCer, “I just think its hilarious to know that Justin Timberlake is going to be in a Men’s Warehouse tux ushering the wedding.” Indeed. Love is love. Elderly Gay Couple Get Married Dayum, they’ve been together for 20 years. According to Mail Online An elderly military couple married at their veterans home yesterday in the center’s first gay ceremony. 95-year-old World War II veteran John Banvard, married his partner, 67-year-old Gerard Nadeau, who served in Vietnam. The two have been together for 20 years, but had to wait until the recent Supreme Court decision to legally tie the knot. They moved to the veterans home in Chula Vista, California three years ago and decided to hold the ceremony there, among their friends. The ceremony was small and simple. After exchanging vows, the two men were sealed with a kiss. ‘It was something we wanted to do for a long time,’ Mr Banvard told 10 News. Their ceremony, however, wasn’t completely welcomed by the rest of the home’s residents. Facility director Neal Asper told Fox 5 San Diego that news of the gay ceremony was ‘somewhat controversial’. As for the residents who have complained to him about it: ‘I told them, they have the right to get married here just like everybody else.’ But some residents still didn’t like the idea. Someone even contacted the Westboro Baptist Church, a notoriously anti-gay group in Florida, in hopes that they would get the ceremony moved off the property. On the day of the wedding though, there were no protestors and those who objected to the ceremony simply didn’t attend. ‘Oh that’s they problem not mine,’ Nadeau said about those opposed to the wedding. ‘But you know what this will do? Open the door for other people.’ One resident said that while he disagreed with two men getting married he respected their legal right to do so. ‘I just know that it’s against my faith and my religion, but as Americans they have a right to do what they want to do.’ Everyone deserves to marry who they want, but those have to be some dusty old smash sessions! Brooke Hogan is getting married. The 25-year-old daughter of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan is engaged to Dallas Cowboys player Phil Costa, who popped the question last night in Las Vegas. Hogan posted pics of the proposal on Instagram. “Happiest moment of my LIFE,” the singer, actress, and model wrote. “I am marrying my best friend.” “I wouldn’t choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful.” In Brooke’s action shots, Phil Costa can be seen presenting an engagement ring to the shocked-looking Hogan, who has her hand covering her mouth. The Paris Hotel’s mock Eiffel Towel glows behind them, so it would appear that the surprise proposal was made on a balcony at the Bellagio Hotel. “I look scary but this is the face of total SHOCK,” Brooke added. While Hulk hasn’t commented yet, brother Nick Bollea Tweeted: “MY SISTER IS GETTING MARRIED!!!!!
