RihRih is mourning the loss of her grandmother Clara Dolly Brathwaite , who passed away last night after battling cancer. The Bajan banger took to Twitter to announce the sad news and has posted several recent touching photos of herself, including a visit she made to the hospital to see her sick granny just two weeks ago. As well as pictures of herself with her grandmother when she was a child. The devastating news is said to have left RihRih in pieces and could be the reason for her recent shambolic performance the night before at the Peace & Love Festival in Sweden. Revellers at the event were left fuming by her performance where the singer was 45 minutes late, lip-synced and appeared to be intoxicated during her set. Rest in Peace Clara ‘Dolly’ Braithwaite! It all started on April 28th, 2012 when I came to NYC to look for Justin. I am from Endicott, New York and I live about 4 hours away, but I don’t care because it is for Justin. I came up looking for Justin because my friend told me where he was staying, so I went to his hotel and I waited for him. There were only about 15 people there so I thought for sure he would stop. I waited about an hour and none of us could figure out which way Justin would come out of. Justin’s driver pulled into the garage in the back of the hotel so we went there hoping he would stop. It was 12:44 pm and the garage started going up. All of a sudden Justin’s car was pulling out and HE WAS IN IT!!! He rolled down the window and took pictures with all of us. He told me he loved me and it was amazing! It was a GREAT day. Then on Friday, June 15th, 2012 I went to the Today Show because I had fan passes. I could barely see him and it was so upsetting. After the concert me and my friend went inside Rockefeller Plaza, where all of Justin’s people were leaving out of. I got a picture with Alfredo, Big Sean, DJ Tay James, Justin’s one blonde dancer, and Scooter Braun. Justin left right after the Today Show and went to Toronto. I drove home after the Today Show and thought, I will never meet Justin again, and that was a once and a lifetime chance, and it will never happen again. When Justin came back on Monday I couldn’t go to his signing or the concert at Apollo because I had testing. My life was terrible. On Tuesday June 19, 2012 I decided I will go to NYC that night to try and meet Justin again. That night I went to NYC after my Bio regent. I got to his hotel at 9:40 pm and 10 minutes later Justin ran into his hotel and nobody saw him. I was almost in tears thinking he isn’t coming out and I was so upset. Luckily Justin’s car was waiting outside and I thought maybe he will come back out. All of us waited about 5 minutes and Justin came out. He walked into the crowd and took two pictures with me. I accidentally covered the flash so it didn’t come out that good so I asked Justin for another one, he said sure! Then he left. I decided that I was going to wait and stay and try to get him again. Later that night I got a picture with Ryan Good. Everyone kept leaving during the night because everyone thought he switched hotels. Well I ended up waiting by myself. It was 3:30 in the morning on June 20th, 2012 when Justin’s car pulled up in front of the hotel. Justin came out and he took a picture with me! He then started walking away and he rolled up his sleeve and goes, “Do you like my new tattoo? That’s where i just was, getting it done.” I said yes and he was so nice! I WAS BY MYSELF!!! I drove home that day. When I got home I got an email saying that I got chosen to go to the Fuse recording . I called my friend and asked her to come up with me tomorrow to go see Justin. On Thursday June 21st, 2012 me and my friend drove up to NYC to go to the Fuse. When we got there, we waited in line. I asked Justin a question during the Fuse and he answered it. He was so nice and sweet. Later that night after Fuse, me and my friend went to Justin’s hotel and were hoping to meet Justin. Sadly Justin left and went to a dentist appointment and we didn’t see him. We met Ryan Good, Alfredo, and Scooter that night luckily. That week Justin’s album came out I went to NYC THREE times, driving four hours each way! I am so thankful and happy that I was fortunate enough to meet Justin and have the experiences I did with him. I remember I used to be that girl that would read these experiences and cry because I wanted to meet him so badly, and now I am one of those girls writing this experience . My name is Reiko, I’m from NYC and I met Justin on 6/20/12. My friends and I figured out where he was staying, so we decided to go. The first day we went, there was around 25 girls there and we waited for about 2 hours until he came out. He was going to take pictures but all of the girls went crazy and started screaming so he just left to go to The View, but he rolled down the window and as he was driving away he was like, “Go to The View, for me!” and he left. I had to leave, and a few days past by with no luck. On Wednesday I decided to go to the hotel again and there weren’t many people girls, only six girls because everyone else was at David Letterman, or the buyout. We decided to just wait at the hotel. The first time my friends said he came out and didnt even say hi, and he just drove away, but we weren’t mad. Obviously we understood if Justin didn’t want to take pictures this one time, since he always takes pictures and is always so nice. After a few hours, we saw his car come up, and Moshe came out, then his grandfather came out and we all waved, (he is so nice too) and then Justin came out and he came up to us. We started taking pictures and he goes, “Can we use one camera so it’s faster?” and we decided to use my camera which was a nikonD3100, and I started taking pictures of the girls, and he goes, “This girl is so nice!” and when I went to get my picture, he was so sweet. He made sure everyone got pictures then went back into the hotel. He stopped at the back and got out of his car for us and then just walked to the front. He could’ve just went through the garage without doing or saying anything, but he didn’t. We also made sure my two friends that never got a picture with him had gotten a picture first. He was so nice. For those who didn’t meet him, no worries you’ll get your turn. Words cannot explain how much he cares about us beliebers, he CARES. He doesnt only want fame and fortune, like some other artists. Thats what makes him so special, him and his music is so inspirational. In the picture with Alfredo and I, he came out through the front and my friend goes, “That’s Alfredo!” so we go up to him and after my friends asked for her picture since she never met him before and she loved him. My name is Sam and on June 19th 2012 at 4:11pm , my dream came true. It all started last Friday when Justin tweeted that J&R music was selling wristbands for a Believe signing that was being held on Tuesday. Since my dad works in NYC, I immediately called him and told him he had to go down to J&R and see if there were any wristbands left. In an hour my dad called me up telling me he’d gotten me 4 wristbands. I started crying, tears were pouring all down my face . The day of the signing came. We left my house around 8:30am and got there around 10:30am. J&R already had about 300 girls there, so we quickly got behind the barricades and waited. The signing didn’t start until 3:00pm, when it was supposed to start around 2 but we didn’t mind as long as I still got to see his face. This all was so unreal to me I mentally didn’t believe I was about to meet the real Justin Bieber. We got to the front in about an hour and every single girl who walked out of J&R was crying. Before I could speak, they sent us through the door and there he was. That’s when it hit me. There’s was about 25 people in front of me in line, but I could see him in the distance. I was shaking so badly and tearing up when security led me to the table. Ryan was on the left and Justin was on the right. I said hi to Ryan and he waved to me, and then I was face to face with Justin. I said, “JUSTIN YOU’RE MY ROLE MODEL, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH” He looked up from signing my CD, made direct eye contact with me and said with a smile, “Thanks, love you too,” handed my CD and then I walked away. Once I got out of J&R I convulsed onto the floor and basically went into cardiac arrest. The world was so irrelevant to me and all that I could do was reply his voice in my head and clench my CD. Just when I thought this season of The Real Housewives of New York City might end up being the new housewives versus the old, “Diss-Invite” turned that fear upside down. It’s actually become all of the housewives against Ramona. Who saw that coming? So let’s break it all down in our THG +/- recap. First off, what do you think of the new housewives? When the opening conversation between Aviva and Carole consisted of what they’d eaten for breakfast…Aviva ate a hard boiled egg and Carole a sugar cookie for those who missed that fascinating tidbit…I thought about going to bed early. Minus 12 . Are these women just that boring or do I need to get some more sleep? When Ramona showed up with gifts I was surprised by Aviva’s comments. I realized that Ramona’s pimping her own skin care line but it was still nice of her to hand out presents. Minus 5 to Aviva for the sarcasm. Ramona’s searching for Heather haters but it didn’t seem to be working. As both Ramona and Heather talk too much a talking intervention was proposed. Wait. Would we still have a show if they all shut up? Where was Sonja during lunch.
America’s Got Talent finally touched down in Las Vegas last night, with over 100 acts set to be whittled down to 48, group-by-group: Judges Favorites, Standbys, Direct-to-NY, and Rejection. According to editing, we only lost three acts to the instant eliminations: the uncle/son acrobats, one of the Luther Vandross’ and Ivy Rose. Why the latter? Who knows. On the other side William Close, the dog trainers and the human cannonball automatically made it through. Now, on to the recap… Danger – All Wheel Sports feels like a better overall group for Vegas compared to American BMX. American BMX called it “a lot of filler,” and in a wonderful twist of karma the one guy on his motor-scooter (not a BMX) wiped out. The Drill team seemed too clean; the girl looked bored. The balancing act was cool, but I couldn’t watch balancing for that long without falling. Ben Blaque showed a questionable rehearsal where his act missed because of “lighting issues.” The act proceeded to do well, though a lot of the same. He ended with a successful backwards blindfolded sequence. Female Singers – Mary Joyner was awful. She sounded too nervous and it caused her to be pitchy. Following Mary was a line of fail. Roxy Doll sounded bored, Brianna Price warbled and Cecilia sounded odd. Luna, who auditioned with a Jewel song, was nervous and blanked. Howard was embarrassed and immediately gave her a mercy killing. The only female with some potential was Aussie Nikki Jensen, but both her original sound and her foreign-ness may be her downfall. Dance Groups – I didn’t care for any of them. Funk Beyond Control had their Lion King on reminding us that talent can be covered with costumes. The cloggers were okay, but were already on this show. On the other spectrum of costuming Loyalty looked hot glued; the judges focused on how they were as dull as their fashion sense. 787 thought that they were amazing; they hit most of their stunts, except for one where a guy got landed on in a front-flip. Insert crying here. Novelty – Of all the groups tonight, the novelty acts showed real potential. Horse, the nut shot guy, started pulling his group from his nuts. They then proceeded to bowl, bike and then torch him. Howard pointed out the obvious: it’s funnier in underwear. All Beef Patty, the drag queen, managed to give “Before He Cheats” a strong rendition. Sand Guy went with something less All-American and more about oppression. The comedian/ventriloquist did a speed vocal run. Light Wire Theater’s biggest problem was that they used same exact dinosaurs and flowers from their auditions. Team iLuminate would never have done that. Aurora on the other hand, had a new butterfly idea. Cheesy? Yes. Original? That too. Classical Singers – We end the night on an odd note. Simply Sergio was sick and thought he was awesome, he may have forgotten the words but tried to justify that the humming was intentional. Luiz, cleaned up with a nice suit, but struggled with his foreclosed home and vocal abilities. Andrew De Leon was a lot closer to accurate, though he was a bit shrill. Then he forgot the words at the end.

During an appearance on Kathy Griffin’s new Bravo talk show “Kathy” Thursday night, the silver-haired news anchor recalled a story about his recent run-in with a sneaky fan during a 6 a.m. flight this week. Cooper, 45, said he was trying to get some rest aboard the New York-to-Los Angeles flight when he noticed the man seated in front of him trying to snap some photos of Cooper using his iPhone’s front-facing camera. “I’m sitting there incredulous that he thinks I don’t see him … and he’s still taking the pictures,” Cooper said. “Normally I would just be like, ‘We’re not going to win this one,’ but I’ve lately become emboldened.” In a surprising twist, Cooper said Olympic figure skating champion Johnny Weir was coincidently sitting next to him on the flight. “I grab the guy on the shoulder, and I said something to the effect of, ‘B—h, what the f— are you doing?’” Cooper said to a shocked Griffin. Despite his burst of boldness, the CNN anchor seemed embarrassed by his surprising reaction. “It was one of those things, as soon as I said it, I was like, ‘I can’t believe I said this to this guy,’” he concluded. Toddler’s Fingertip Bitten Off By Pet Pirhana Might be a good idea to stick to goldfish. They don’t each much finger food. An 18-month-old girl in Illinois had her fingertip bitten off by one of her family’s pet piranhas. The toddler’s horrified mother initially blamed the family’s pet pitbull after making the shocking discovery Tuesday, the Pioneer Press reported. She had heard her daughter crying and noticed the girl’s finger was bleeding. After Cook County Sheriff’s police were called to the house in Maine Township, officers determined the wound was actually from a piranha. The family kept piranhas in a fish tank near where the child had been playing. The toddler’s father immediately cut open one of the predatory fish — revealing the missing fingertip. The child was rushed to the hospital, but a spokeswoman could not say whether the fingertip had been successfully reattached. Source
