Monica has begun shooting the video for “Until It’s Gone,” the new single from her upcoming album New Life . She was joined on set by her hubby Shannon Brown, and actors Brian White (“I Can Do Bad All By Myself”) and Malinda Williams (“Soul Food”) who, from the photos posted on Twitter, got way into character. The video was directed by Diane Martel, who last worked with Monica in 1999 for “Angel of Mine.” She’s also the mastermind behind Beyonce’s “Best Thing I Never Had,” Ciara’s “Like A Boy” and “Ride,” and Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You” and “Like You’ll Never See Me Again.” The video depicts a car accident which meant the two actors had to undergo some “bloody” makeup treatments (see their pics in the gallery below!) Reports already suggest that Ashton Kutcher cheated on Demi Moore last month with at least one woman in San Diego, rumored to be 23-year old Sara Leal . But new sources now say that Leal was only one of several women inside the actor’s Hardrock Hotel room that evening. According to party promoter Gavin Naumoff, some South African yacht worker named Jacques Du Toit told him that his girlfriend, Alexis, was was up in a suite with Kutcher. “Alexis told him Ashton’s room number and when he got there, a bodyguard was at the door who said it was a private party,” Naumoff said to The Daily Mail . “Jacques explained he was the boyfriend of one of the girls and was let in. “He found Ashton in a hot tub on the balcony with Alexis, Sara, a girl called Katie and another girl called Marta. They were all naked. Ashton invited Jacques to join them in the tub.” Kutcher was reportedly in a great mood, calling for other guests to bring him and his women vodka. “Sara is telling everyone 100 percent that she and Ashton had sex,” says Naumoff. “Jacques and Alexis are two of my best friends and Sara is a good friend. My Bieber fever all started back in September of 2009. I heard him on the radio and was determined to see him in person. In December 2009, my friend (@jasminemusicvip) had just won Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing. One of the prizes was to open up for Justin Bieber twice in concert. So fast forward to December 19th, 2009. It was the day Jasmine was opening for Justin. The concert started and right after her set, I got to go backstage. I knew Justin was close by and I started FREAKING out. I was so nervous. All of the sudden I see him standing with his arms crossed. A few minutes later, we all made two rows so Justin could walk through. He literally walked RIGHT past me. He opened with “Love Me” and that was one of the best performances I’ve seen. That next year I ended up seeing Justin twice on his My World Tour on August 11th 2010 & November 10th 2010. If you’ve never seen him live, let me tell you, HE PUTS ON THE BEST SHOW. I had the most fun at those concerts. I ended up meeting Ryan Good, Legaci, Michael Vargas, Nick DeMoura, and Dan Kanter that year. On June 8th 2011, I got to see Justin once again. He was coming in town for the CMT Awards. Even though I was sitting really far away, I felt blessed to be in the same room as him and getting to see him win those awards. Now, SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2011. This is the story I really wanna talk about. That afternoon I logged onto Twitter. I had heard Justin was shooting a music video, but I didn’t think much about it. I went to @LordBieber’s page (Justin’s dad) and started reading some of his tweets. I scrolled down and then I saw this tweet, “Good Morning Nashville, its beautiful here.” My mouth DROPPED. I couldn’t believe Justin was BACK IN NASHVILLE shooting HIS music video for “Under The Mistletoe ”. For those of you who don’t know, Justin shot “One Less Lonely Girl” here as well. Anyways, I HAD to go. It took some convincing, but my dad finally agreed to take me and my friend Micaela. That night at around 8pm, I got to the set. There were already so many girls waiting to see Justin. After standing in the rain for awhile, I asked my dad to go see if he could find Justin’s bus. A few minutes later he calls and says, “I found it”. I started to get really excited! My friend and I went over to his bus and waited. Then I heard someone say, “He’s filming from 10pm – 5am”. I knew we had to get back to the set before then. We got to the bus and there were a TON of girls singing and shouting for the Biebs. It started getting late and I wanted to see Justin come out before they started filming, so we went back to the set. This time we went on the OTHER side of the street because Justin was filming there and they were setting up trees, snow, and anything “Christmasy”. Finally we found a spot to stand and wait for him to come out. A little while later, everyone started screaming and I knew it HAD to be because of Justin. I got on top of my dads back and looked over the crowd. Justin was walking with Kenny and being just a normal, crazy kid. He did some hand motion type thing, almost like a bow? Then they started filming scenes of him and this girl sitting at a table. During that time, I met Alfredo Flores. I was yelling with one of my other friends, “Alfredo! Fredo! Come over here!” and he did. I asked, “Can you follow me on Twitter?” and he said, “Yeah.. what is it?” I told him and he walked away. A little bit later, Kenny came over and she got him to follow her. I also saw Ryan Good, Allison, Vanessa, and we yelled to them, but only Ryan & Allison heard and waved back to us. Justin got up on a ladder and waved & blew kisses to all of us. He is SO sweet, you can really tell he appreciates all the support. He even posted a picture of all of us on Twitter. Justin is so funny, he started dougie-ing with Santa later on. It was already midnight and I had school the next day. I would have LOVED to stay later, but my dad was ready to go. I said bye to one of my other friends, and me and Micaela went home. That night was ONE OF THE BEST Bieber experiences I’ve had. It was really fun watching the making of “Under The Mistletoe” and I can’t wait for it to come out! I feel so lucky to have seen Justin as many times as I have. I am one of the only three fans featured in that trailer and it was my best friend who spoke those words. Just over a year ago, on August 22nd 2010 in London Ontario, five of my closest friends and I went to the Justin Bieber My World 2.0 tour and it was the best concert of my life, for more than one reason. We weren’t doing anything half assed for this night. All of us spent hours on our tank tops and we decked out our cars to the extreme, blaring Biebs music and dancing out the sun roofs. As we drove down the street, we caught the attention of producers for what was soon to be Justin Bieber’s documentary movie. They ran up to us and straight up asked if we wanted to be interviewed for the movie. Of course after many screams, we rushed to the side of the arena and did a personal interview for nearly 7 minutes. Little did we know, much of that interview would be seen by Justin Bieber and millions of others around the world. As if that wasn’t enough, half way through the concert when Justin was riding on his infamous heart shaped machine through the crowd, a lady (I later discovered from watching the movie was one of Justin’s managers, Allison) pulled me into the aisle and told me to get my friend. They all were standing on chairs down the row, so I figured they would merely be scolded and I randomly grabbed the closest one to me. But she was very specific, she wanted my friend Rachael only. When we finally got her, all we heard was a scream and her being whisked away. Within the next two minutes, our friend was on stage being sung to by Justin Bieber himself (Yes, she is the girl in the movie who is sobbing her eyes out and wailing her love for him). It was an unbelievable experience in itself, and I couldn’t imagine how much better it could get until I received a call from Los Angeles asking for my parent’s signature to be officially allowed to be participated in the film , and two weeks later to see myself on a flat screen TV, split seconds after Usher was on screen. After the trailer craziness, the movie finally was released and we were featured over four times together and individually. One day after the entire affair was long over, I was shuffling through my drawers and I found a disgruntled and ripped Bucket List that I had thrown out on one dreary day. I had thrown it out because I believed my very first number, ‘Be In a Justin Bieber Video’, could never come true. I am pleased to say, I have crossed that off my list of things to do before I die. Then, according to TMZ , he surprised Gomez after the concert with an even bigger show right next door at the Staples Center, the 20,000-seat home of the Los Angeles Lakers. After 11 p.m., Bieber told Gomez , “follow me,” and the pair walked through an underground tunnel that connects the two arenas. As they walked into the empty building, all Gomez saw was a table for two set up on the floor with a steak and pasta dinner from the venue’s fancy restaurant, the Lexus Club. The major date was inspired by a scene in the Adam Sandler flick “Mr. Deeds,” in which Sandler’s character surprises his date, Winona Ryder, with a date for two at Madison Square Garden. After the superstar couple’s meal, things got even more romantic when “Titanic” began playing on a screen in the arena. According to reports, Bieber got the venue for free as a thank-you from the bosses at Staples for his string of three previous sell-outs there. After making things way harder for his fellow man with his big-balling gesture, Biebs had a message for all the dudes out there who aren’t pulling their weight when it comes to the chivalry department. “Romance isn’t dead,” he tweeted after his date. “Treat your lady right fellas.” Easy for you to say, dude. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Nevermind, band’s close friend — and former MTV staffer — Amy Finnerty recalls their rise to fame. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Vanessa WhiteWolf Kurt Cobain Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage When Amy Finnerty first met Nirvana , she had just come to MTV to work in the Music and Programming department. Of course, she didn’t let them know that fact. She was just blown away to finally meet the guys who had made her favorite album (at least at that point): Bleach. Over the next four years, Finnerty would not only become close friends with the band, but intrinsically linked to them too. Since she was just a few years younger than the guys (not to mention a huge fan), she was one of the first people within the company to champion them — and was almost singlehandedly responsible for getting their “Smells Like Teen Spirit” on the channel. And because of all that — and the 20th anniversary of the epochal Nevermind album — MTV News sat down with Finnerty to get the inside story on the days before Nirvana became a household name and the wild (and amazing) times that followed after. And it all started with that first meeting, backstage in New York. “The first night I met Nirvana, I was backstage at, I think it was a Waterboys show, and the band was in New York, touring on the Bleach album, and they were being courted by a bunch of record labels, Geffen being one of them,” she said. “So I’m standing around backstage, and I see Kurt Cobain leaning up against the wall, and, uh, ‘Oh my God, that’s Kurt from Nirvana.’ And, at that point, they weren’t Nirvana — I mean, they were to me, but not everybody on the planet knew who they were — but, I was terrified. I was scared to go up and introduce myself, but I did. And he said, ‘How do you even know who I am ?’ And I said ‘You’re in Nirvana! I’m going to see your band at the Pyramid in a few days! You’re a great, great band!’ “And he was pretty surprised, so we got to chatting and he said to me, ‘Who are you? What are you doing here?’ and I said, ‘Oh, well, I work at MTV, whatever,’ and so he screams down the hall, ‘Krist, this girl works at MTV.’ And it was on from that second,” she laughed. “They started teasing me, making fun of me, Krist was throwing beer around, we were shaking up our beer bottles and squirting each other with beer and stuff, so, it immediately became this joke, because I really wasn’t trying to tell them what I did [at MTV]. For the longest time, they referred to me as ‘V.P. of Post-It Notes,’ because they didn’t know that I worked in Music Programming, because they would’ve teased me about it.” Riki Rachtman recalls Nirvana’s cross-dressing appearance on “Headbangers Ball.” Of course, in the months that followed, the hype around the band (and their then-forthcoming album Nevermind ) began to swirl, and once Finnerty heard what they guys had been working on with producer Butch Vig, she knew big things were on the horizon. “The first time I listened to the record, it was like, when you’re on vacation and you see something really beautiful that you’ve never seen before and you open your eyes up super-wide, because you want to get the memory ingrained into your brain, and that’s the way I felt,” she said. “I was trying to remember every single note.” Still, convincing the folks at MTV to take a chance on the band proved a lot tougher than she’d imagined. After all, she was young, and the band was virtually unknown outside of a few hip enclaves around the country. But that all changed the second she saw the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” video — which, in a bit of alt-rock kismet, arrived in her office at the exact moment another soon-to-be-huge band did too. “The Smashing Pumpkins were staying at my house, and I said, ‘You guys, come by MTV, give me the keys to the apartment, and then I’ll bring you around the halls and introduce you to some people.’ … And so the Pumpkins came in 10 minutes after I had gotten my hands on that music video, and so we went into my office to watch it, and everyone thought it was incredible,” Finnerty said. “So I took the video and I walked around the halls at MTV and simultaneously introduced a bunch of people to the Smashing Pumpkins, and then we’d watch the video … and then we’d go to a producer’s office and I’d say, ‘These are the Smashing Pumpkins, and the Gish record that just came out is so incredible, and they’re going to send us a video. Oh, and by the way, we’ve got this Nirvana video; you have to check it out.’ ” Nirvana’s rise to fame, in their own words. After Finnerty showed a few folks within the building “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, she brought it to MTV’s music meeting, where the fates of new videos were decided. After some healthy back-and-forth, it was determined that “Spirit” would be given a world premiere during MTV’s “120 Minutes” (with rotation on the channel to begin the following week). It was a sink-or-swim moment for the band and as you’re probably aware, things worked out pretty well. “That was unprecedented; MTV, as far as I know, had never world-premiered a video for a band that they had no history with,” Finnerty explained. “And then … some of the crew and a lot of the people that were on the road with the band came over to my house that Sunday night, and we all sat up waiting for this world premiere, and, like, I took pictures of it. It was a big moment!” It was just the first of many for the band and their friend. But for all the highlights, perhaps none illustrates Nirvana’s scruffy charm quite like a story Finnerty told us about a party she threw for the band at her New York City apartment. Twenty years later, it’s one she’s still amazed by — sort of like the band she helped become huge (“in some small way,” she cautioned) just by believing. “So Nirvana played in New York, and I had decided to have a party at my apartment afterwards … and the band came, and I think [the Pixies’] Kim Deal was there, and then there were just a host of other people that I had no idea who they were. And I leaned over to Kurt and I was like, ‘Are these your friends? Do you know any of these people?’ And he was like, ‘I don’t know any of these people … do you want me to get them to leave?’ ” she recalled. “So he said, ‘I’m going to walk out, I’m going to go downstairs and hide under the stairs, and everyone’s going to leave. Watch.’ And so he walked out, and, you know, you could see everyone trying to act casual, but they all saw him leave, and then it was like a mass exodus; within 10 minutes my apartment was cleared. “And then he came back up and got me and told me that we were going to go listen to the best jukebox in town, and I thought I was going to have this unbelievable night of listening to some hidden punk rock on some cool jukebox in New York, right?” she continued. “But instead he took me to the 119 Bar, which, at the time, had a jukebox that only played disco music. And so we danced to Donna Summer, and then we went home.
