He says he was paid $2,500 to rob the iconic artist. “In 1994, James Rosemond hired me to rob 2Pac Shakur at the Quad Studio,” Isaac claims. “He gave me $2,500, plus all the jewelry I took, except for one ring, which he wanted for himself. It was the biggest of the two diamond rings that we took. He said he wanted to put the stone in a new setting for his girlfriend at the time, Synthia Ried. I still have as proof the chain that we took that night in the robbery. “I want to apologize to his family and for the mistake I did for that sucker.” Why did Isaac go on record now? Gary Dourdan was arrested again on drug charges according to TMZ . The ex-”CSI” actor was arrested in Los Angeles for what police call “a few pills” of the drug ecstasy.Gary got popped when police received a report that he crashed his car into two park cars around 3:30 AM. During the investigation the pills were found and he was arrested on a drug possession charge. He was later released on $10,000 bail. Gary pled guilty to possession of cocaine and ecstasy after an incident in Palm Springs in 2008. ‘The creativity level has to be through the roof,’ CyHi tells MTV News. By Rob Markman CyHi Da Prynce Photo: MTV News Good concerts and summer go hand in hand, and beginning Thursday (June 9) night, Kanye West ‘s G.O.O.D. Music outfit is taking its show on the road. As a part of Heineken’s Red Star Access summer concert series, West, Pusha T, Big Sean, CyHi Da Prynce and the rest of G.O.O.D. will roll through nine cities, including Miami, Chicago, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Houston and Detroit. While in town for Thursday’s New York show, CyHi spoke to MTV News about the tour. “It’s amazing,” he said. “We get to do a lot of big cities that I haven’t been to yet. A lot of people want to see us all together.” Back in March, Kanye made a splash in Austin when he brought John Legend, Common, Kid Cudi and Mos Def out to the Vevo Power Plant to perform during 2011’s South by Southwest festival. According to CyHi, this tour is an extension of that show. “We did it in South by Southwest when we brought everybody together and it was a successful show. So we want to do the same and try to duplicate every city we go to and make it bigger and bigger every time,” he said. CyHi couldn’t confirm which G.O.O.D. artists were performing in which cities, hinting that there will most likely be a rotating cast of characters throughout the nine dates. But he was able to talk a bit about his stage show. During his 20- to 30-minute set the Atlanta rapper will perform songs from his noteworthy Royal Flush mixtape as well as its upcoming sequel, Royal Flush 2. “My new stage set is incredible,” he said. “I’ve been fortunate enough to get little props and banners and fog machines and lights.” When asked whether Kanye had imparted any wisdom to the young rapper, he said he is encouraged to be creatively free. “He showed me that there are no limitations. The creativity level has to be through the roof,” CyHi said. “Me, like I’ve been telling people I’m the prince of two kings. An 18-year-old college student died from a bullet to his chest as he chased three teens who robbed him and his girlfriend when he was buying a computer advertised on Craigslist for $600, a prosecutor said Friday. Details of the killing emerged at an arraignment for three 17-year-old males who were charged as adults with murder, robbery and shooting at an occupied vehicle. Superior Court Judge Joseph Brannigan entered not guilty pleas on their behalf and set bail at $5 million each — $3 million higher than the amount sought by prosecutors. Prosecutors have said Garrett Berki died late Wednesday after he and his girlfriend met suspects Rashon Abernathy, Seandell Jones and Shaquille Jordan in San Diego to buy an Apple MacBook Pro. One teen pulled a gun and robbed the couple of cash and their cell phones, authorities said. A car chase followed, with Berki pursuing the assailants on a freeway and city streets before he was shot as he tried to box them in on a dead-end street, prosecutor Kristian Trocha told reporters. Abernathy is suspected of firing a single shot from the back seat, shattering Berki’s windshield, Trocha said. Police said Berki, a San Diego community college student, was trying to read his assailants’ license plate during the pursuit. Officers found him slumped over the steering wheel, and he died less than an hour later at a hospital. All three suspects were arrested within minutes of the shooting, hiding in back yards after crashing their car in a cul-de-sac about two blocks from the shooting scene, authorities said. Patricia Dykes, Jordan’s mother, told reporters her son was “hurting” because someone got killed. She said he was a straight-A student preparing to graduate from high school. She emphasized that he was not accused of pulling the trigger. “He told me he’s going to write a letter to the (victim’s) family that he’s sorry for whatever happened, but that he didn’t … do anything violent to anyone,” Dykes said. Shearese Johnson, the mother of Jones, said her son didn’t kill anyone and called the charges unfair. Jones is suspected of being the getaway driver after the robbery. “All I’m going to say is I love my son, and I’m here, and this just isn’t fair,” Johnson said. If convicted, the three teens could face maximum sentences of life in prison, prosecutors said. Trocha told reporters all three were equally responsible for the death, even though Abernathy is the only one accused of firing a gun. “All of them participated in the robbery. The murder was part of this robbery in trying to escape,” Trocha said. “It’s as if they pulled the trigger themselves.” Trocha said all three defendants were gang members — a claim met with skepticism by the two mothers.
