Big Brother Recap: Who Won Season 20?

Big Brother brought the jurors together one final time to crown a winner Wednesday night, but did the right person win?  There was one last blindside, a surprise engagement and one final “I’m Julie Chen Moonves,” and it all resulted in one of the best finales for this veteran CBS reality series yet.  When the episode got underway, the first part of the final HOH played out, but Tyler was battling with whether to follow through on his plan to throw this part.  When JC fell to the ground, it was time for Tyler to do his thing. However, he decided against it in that final moment, and Kaycee fell next.  “This is the #1 biggest dream of my entire life,” Tyler explained of his decision to viewers, confirming there was no mistake.  He worried that Kaycee was going to take it personally and that it would come back to bite him. Kaycee was annoyed but knew she needed to keep it together for part two.  She and JC went to battle for the second heat of the competition, and Kaycee secured the win. That meant she got to face Tyler in part three.  Would she go back on her word if she won? We then caught up with the jurors who had the typical meeting with Dr. Will to decide who was worthy of winning the game.  Angela joined them and quickly got to work to expose Kaycee as a rider of Tyler’s coattails, and that she only won when she needed to. “Are you saying this because you’re secretly in a showmance with Tyler?” Bayliegh wondered, lapping up the role of the bitter juror because she ruined her own game.  Then the unthinkable happened:  Rockstar seemed to think that JC was a deserving finalist because he got so far with his manipulation skills. Be that as it may, he failed to win all but one competition.  While there was a lot of back and forth, the editing made it seem like there was a case for all three to win. That’s pretty laughable, but whatever.  The final HOH competition came to a close with Kaycee narrowly beating Tyler in the battle to recall memorable events from the season.  Kaycee then got to choose whether to take Tyler of JC out of the running. To the surprise of nobody, she stuck with her ride-or-die despite his lie earlier.  After JC’s unsurprising elimination, the jury got to ask questions about the gameplay of the finalists. Tyler had a way with his words and managed to get everyone nodding.  Kaycee floundered, and it seemed like all hope was lost for her.  Before we learned who won, Julie wanted to find out which showmances were going to be a thing on the outside.  Haleigh and Fessy, and Tyler and Angela are a go, but Swaggy and Bayliegh opted to take their romance to the next level.  Swaggy clung to his final minute of fame by proposing to Bayliegh, the girl who he spent 23 days with inside a house.  Bayliegh accepted the proposal.  How did the final vote pan out? Here are the results: JC votes for Tyler Angela votes for Tyler Sam votes for Kaycee Brett votes for Tyler Haleigh votes for Tyler Scottie votes for Kaycee Faysal votes for Kaycee Rockstar votes for Kaycee Bayleigh votes for Kaycee There were tears, cheers and more tears as Kaycee won by a vote of 5-4.  But who won America’s Favorite Player?  That honor went to… Tyler! Frankie Conti: Just Who is Kendra Wilkinson’s New Man?

Kendra Wilkinson has reportedly found the new d-ck for which she’s been searching. About five months after filing for divorce from Hank Baskett , the former Playmate has reportedly gotten involved with some new guy named Frankie Conti. He’s the first person she’s dated since being single again, prompting many fans to ask the following: Is this relationship serious? Or is this merely a post-split rebound type of situation? Conti, according to E! News, a “young marketing manager” who met Wilkinson at a charity golf tournament in July. The two new lovers allegedly “hit it off immediately,” a source tells the aforementioned outlet. This same source says the So far, the relationship is “very new and casual, but they have been spending time together and going on dates recently.” Instagram followers are wondering just how casual it actually is, however, based on Kendra’s caption to the photos above and below. Posted six days ago, it reads: Today was a good day. Truly smiled. Hope you all had a good day too. Love you. Did she just drop the L Bomb in a message to Conti? Or is she addressing her supporters with these encouraging and positive words? Us Weekly, meanwhile, also writes that Kendra is getting it on these days with Conti, quoting an insider of its own who has the following to say about the romance: “They have been hanging out and spending time with each other. Kendra likes Frank because he is attentive and listens to her. It’s been refreshing to have someone light and fun in her life.” Taken off his Facebook page, here is a photo of Frankie Conti: Kendra, for her part, has been very open since her divorce. She’s made it clear via a number of social media posts that she’s a tad sad and a little bit lost . “Been trying to take care of myself lately,” she told her followers this summer, admitting that her “mental, emotional and physical well being” could all use some assistance. She also clarified on numerous occasions, though, that her two kids always “come first” and that she’s grateful she’s been able to spend so much time with them of late. The 33-year-old Girls Next Door alum split from her husband of nearly nine years earlier this year because the stars were unable to fully repair their relationship after Baskett admitted to an affair back in 2014. It was an unusual affair. It involved Baskett getting a hand job from a transgender model he briefly met in a hotel room after he stopped by there to buy some marijuana. The couple’s struggles were featured on multiple seasons of the reality show Kendra On Top and the exes share 8-year-old son Hank IV and 4-year-old daughter Alijah. The mother of two got candid in August about her post-divorce problems, as documented below. “Just when I think I’m healed, I start to cry. Sorry I’m not a perfect person. I’m really sorry,” she explained on Instagram. Click around here to see what else she had to say at the time: View Slideshow: Kendra Wilkinson Bawls Over Divorce, Cries Out: I’m Not Perfect, Okay?!?

Source: Z1079 Summer Jam 2017 @stretch_34 / @stretch_34 Is it us or do artists from different music genres just love to use “3AM” as a song title? Don’t believe us, just Google it. Either way that weird habit continues today as Trill Sammy decides to drop a new NBA YoungBoy and Cashmere Cat assisted clip to “3AM” which seems to be mostly shot during sundown and with a camcorder. They must’ve found that joint in someone’s parents attic or something but still a good use of available resources. City Girls meanwhile seem like they’d be ready to curve any dude caught dead documenting life with a camcorder as they make it clear they’re not settling for anything less than a baller in the Fatal Instinct inspired visual to “Millionaire D*ck.” Is this gonna be the 2018 “No Scrubs”? Exclusive: Ryan Destiny Talks STAR Season 3, THAT Fight, Diss Tracks & Rumors She’s Rebooting “Bring It On” With Gabby Union

John Lamparski/WireImage Exclusive Ryan Destiny Interview We caught up with super sweet and impossibly gorgeous IT-girl Ryan Destiny who dished on the drama-drenched third season of STAR filled with shocking surprises, wig snatches and hip-moving grooves that you’ve come to expect from the smash FOX series. At this point in her blooming career, Destiny (who plays “Alex”) is a seasoned pro at teasing without dropping spoilers and assured us that Season 3 delivers the messy goods during an easy, breezy interview where she also addressed  THAT fight, diss tracks and the “Bring It On” reboot rumors. Ryan on what we can expect from Season 3: “You can expect to see how the girls are handling their breakup because now the girls are broken up and they’re going through their stages and cycles of figuring out their solo endeavors and what they’re going to do now that they’re separated but still contractually obligated to a group. So, it’s a lot about what they want to do vs. what they need to do and that’s frustrating for them” Ryan on her vicious girl fight with Star in the Season 2 finale:  “It was sweet behind the scenes because I’m not a confrontational person. So, all of it was coming from a place I had to find because I’m an actress. I had to step into the character’s mind and how frustrated she was throughout the past seasons and understand why she felt the way that she did. I definitely had to find some inspiration for that. That was mostly me doing the stunts. I obviously didn’t fall off the stage–that was the stunt double *laughs*. I love that stuff and I want to dive more into doing my own stuff. So, it’s just really fun for me every time I can do something like that, it’s fun” Ryan on what makes a good diss track and her favorite one ever: “With diss tracks, for it to be successful, you gotta come with facts–little things and shots at people the outsiders don’t know about because that’s what usually gets people riled up. I think that’s what gets people really excited about diss tracks. My favorite diss track personally? I don’t know, that’s hard. I feel like old school Rap whenever they would get into beef those are my favorites. My parents would tell me stories and those were the more exciting ones for me vs. the ones like now like Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly and Drake and Meek Mill. Those are just kinda funny to me” Ryan on the pesky Twitter rumors she’s joining Gabrielle Union in a “Bring It On” reboot: *laughs* It just started blowing up on Twitter. Somebody just mentioned the idea and people ran with it and started making up their own little scripts and storylines and then me and Gab both saw it. I think we’re entertaining the idea of it–I don’t think we’re going to go through with the “Bring It On” sequel, personally, I don’t think so. That’s a hard one to do and it’s such a classic and I feel like cheerleading movies kinda died in a sense so it would be pretty hard to bring it back so I’d be nervous about it. I don’t know, if the right script comes along and it’s something we’d both be down for then… it’s all about timing” Oh, and for the few of you who STILL haven’t tuned into STAR, Ryan has a message for you: “If you like drama and if you love music, then you should watch the show. It’s a female-driven cast and I love that aspect of it and the different types of women on the show–there’s so many different people that you can relate to and they’re all very strong so, for that reason, I would watch it personally. So, binge-watch it!” STAR returns to FOX TONIGHT at 9/8c! Feature photo by John Lamparski/WireImage

‘LHHHS5’ Recap: Brooke Valentine Derails Bridget Kelly’s London Press Opportunity

Source: Tibrina Hobson / Getty Issa girls trip! Tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood is mostly about London shenanigans. Bridget Kelly has a big fan base in London, new music to promote and a show but she decided to make a bigger spectacle of it by inviting her girls. It’s La’Britney, Moniece, Teairra Mari, Brooke, Paris, and Nikki. But the thing is, some of these women are plus ones and you already know there’s tension in the overall group. Teairra is annoyed with Paris and Nikki because she feels like they deserted her when it came to her sex tape drama. Teairra doesn’t really rock with Moniece like that because she feels she deserted her back when she was going through rehab. Moniece doesn’t rock with Paris. La’Britney and Moniece don’t rock with each other, and Brooke is Brooke so you already know she was talking smack to the rest of the girls about last week’s studio situation with RoccStar and Moniece. In other words, you never know how this is going to go. via GIPHY Once the girls get settled in London, La’Britney doesn’t hesitate to call Moniece out for spreading rumors about her allegedly sleeping with A1. Moniece said that she was just repeating what she heard from someone else. It was Lyrica who said that. Remember when Lyrica was pissed that A1 and La’Britney were working together and she just assumed that their relationship was more than just business? Yeah, that. But anyway, La’Britney then says she heard that Moniece slept with K. Michelle. via GIPHY Moniece says that she and K. Michelle are good friends but the only box she’s munching on is her girlfriend AD’s. That don’t mean she never got it on with K. Michelle though. Anyway, back to their little discussion, it surprisingly doesn’t escalate and they eventually seem to get over it. La’Britney basically explains (later on) that she only slid into A1’s DM’s for business purposes and makes the good point: DM’s is how a lot of people, especially in entertainment, especially millennials, create amazing opportunities to secure the bag. In fact, the entire trip thus far is actually okay-ish. There’s tension but no one is throwing drinks and tugging hair…for now. Teairra even seems to get back on the right track with Moniece and Paris. Nikki is kinda just there. Back to Bridget Kelly. She has a press day (at the home they’re staying in) since she’s actually in London because she has a show coming up and to promote new album, Reality Bites . Enter Brooke. So… Brooke bogarts Bridget’s interview because y’all know she does that. In her mind, she was spicing up the interview because Bridget was being boring (but in reality, Bridget was actually being professional). So she steps into the mix talking about she’s still alive (because no one has really heard from her musically since “Girl Fight”) and plans on coming out with new music. Then she brings La’Britney into the mix. La’Britney is actually working with Lady Leshurr . The latter is a rapper from the UK and she’s dope (do your Googles if you’re not familiar). That’s cute and all, but this isn’t La’Britney’s interview. Then Teairra comes out just to tell the girls that the chicken she was making was almost ready and of course the reporters drag her into the interview. She doesn’t want to be a part of the interview but sits down anyway, as if she really didn’t have a choice in the matter. And of course, they ask her about the sex tape. TT is annoyed by that question and then another reporter asks where they can see it. Now that’s just rude! Teairra storms back into the house. Bridget follows behind her to make sure she’s okay. She’s also pissed that Brooke derailed the whole interview before she could even talk about her new music. TT locks herself in her room and doesn’t want to be bothered. That’s that. Next week Bridget will call out Brooke for her thirsty behavior and it looks like Solo Lucci and Marcus will be joining the fun in London. Elton Brand Becomes Fourth Black General Manager In NBA

Excerpt from:

F ormer NBA player Elton Brand is breaking barriers for African-Americans on the corporate side of the league. Earlier this week, Brand was appointed to become the General Manager of the Philadelphia 76ers; making him the fourth Black general manager in the NBA, ESPN reported. The @sixers promote Elton Brand to general manager, per @wojespn . https://t.co/IRVctsTZSc pic.twitter.com/cNnSTl1MOA — Yahoo Sports NBA (@YahooSportsNBA) September 18, 2018 Brand, 39, retired from the league in 2016 as a Sixer, the news outlet writes. He was the Chicago Bulls’ No. 1 draft pick in 1999 and over the course of his career suited up for teams that included the LA Clippers, the Dallas Mavericks, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Philadelphia 76ers. Brand is excited about leading his former team and hopes to transform the Sixers into a leading contender in the Eastern Conference through his guidance. “The 76ers are on the cusp of something very special and the next 12 months are really important. I think that’s why I was the leading candidate, to bring stability to the organization and this group that I know really well,” he said in a statement. The Sixers are excited about bringing Brand to the front office. Josh Harris , owner of the Sixers, says that Brand will be influential in bringing in new talent. “I think we’re at a new point in our team’s development into hopefully an NBA championship,” he said. “We need to be attracting talent here. Certainly, Elton’s image and who he is as a person were real positives. But leadership and managerial skills and the things you’ve got to do in the front office that aren’t just about image, he’s got those, too. But certainly, that was a huge positive.” According to Black Enterprise , Brand’s appointment comes shortly after Maurice A. Stinnett made history as the first Black man to become a diversity and inclusion vice president for an NBA team. Google Launches Tech Exchange To Increase Racial Representation In Tech

Excerpt from:

T ech giant Google is expanding its efforts to increase racial representation within the realm of tech. After launching a pilot program for Howard University students, the company has announced the creation of a new initiative called Tech Exchange, Ed Surge reported. In addition to empowering students and providing them with first-hand experience in Silicon Valley, Google launched the Tech Exchange with hopes of boosting its own diversity numbers in the long-run. https://t.co/Am7QrjUYvy #highered #edequity — EdSurge HigherEd (@HigherEdSurge) September 21, 2018 As part of the program 65 students from HBCUs and Hispanic institutions will head to Silicon Valley to enhance their computer science skills, the news outlet writes. Tech Surge is an expansion of Howard West; a program designed to send Howard University students to Google’s headquarters on the West Coast for hands-on experience in the tech industry. After witnessing the impact that the program made in the lives of the students who participated, Google wanted to offer the opportunity to students at other HBCUs. Amongst the institutions participating in the tech exchange program are Morgan State University, Florida A&M University, Dillard University, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and others. April Alvarez, Educational Equities Program Manager, Google, believes that the Tech Exchange initiative will be an integral part of increasing diversity within the corporation as well as within the tech industry as a whole. “We’re not as diverse as we’d like to be. We’re focused on building a more diverse Google, one that definitely reflects our users. This Tech Exchange is a piece of that puzzle,” Alvarez told Ed Surge. “These students — we hope they’ll come back and work for a place like Google or start their own Google. They’re going to be leaders in the industry.” Howard University President Wayne A. I. Frederick says that it’s important for companies to hire individuals who reflect their consumer base. “You want diversity of thought in every discussion, and you need to do that by hiring people with the diversity of background in every experience,” he said. According to Google’s 2018 diversity report, only 2.5 percent of employees are Black. ‘LHHHS5’ Recap: Studio Time With RoccStar Drives Moniece To A Panic Attack

See more here:

Source: Jennifer Lourie / Getty Tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood picks back up with the Teairra Mari revenge porn saga. The episode begins with Brooke giving Teairra the tea about Akbar, and it’s really just a memo from Captain Obvious. Basically, TT got played. Akbar is (allegedly) known for taking advantage of young women, especially famous or wannabe famous ones who are in vulnerable situations like Teairra, for the sake of his own fame. All her rehab drama was in #TheBlogs so he may have seen her as an easy target. In the hood, we call that pimpin’. via GIPHY We know by now, thanks to #TheBlogs, that TT decided to move forward with a lawsuit. The status of that case is currently up in the air but some folks around these Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood streets think TT might have had a hand in leaking her own sex tapes. K Michelle sums it up perfectly by likening this to “The Atlanta Scandal.” You remember Mimi’s sex tape situation right? First Mimi blamed her then-boyfriend Nikko for leaking their sex tape and he looked like the bad guy for a long time, but later she admitted that she was in on the plan the entire time. via GIPHY People literally do some of anything for attention these days, unfortunately, so it’s not a far-fetched theory. Hopefully, in Teairra’s case, that’s not the case! In other news, JayWill is feeling some type of way about that Pride audition gone wrong. Remember how he showed up as his regular self and did a depressing poetry number, instead of performing as his alter ego, Kandie, who we all know everyone really wanted to see, especially for a Pride event! Yeah, so La’Britney also showed up to the same audition and killed her routine and booked the show. Somehow, JayWill feels like La’Britney is a trash friend for taking the gig and that if she were a real one she’d turn it down. via GIPHY La’Britney kicks the truth, which is that sometimes people have to do what they don’t want to when it comes to auditions and perhaps he should have begrudgingly performed as Kandie anyway since that would have been the winner. Plus, he should have known that Kandie was more appropriate for a Pride event anyway. Duh! People show up to Pride to party. He should have established his more serious side during another opportunity. He definitely doesn’t see it that way though. Obviously, they get together to talk about this and have a hostile discussion. She says she’ll throw him the gig as a bone because she’s not doing it since she’s going to London with Bridget Kelly (Bridget Kelly invited a bunch of the Angry Birds on a girls trip). They start arguing back and forth some more but the real tea is spilled when he says everyone knows that she and A1 have been (allegedly) sleeping with each other. via GIPHY The episode winds down with Moniece and Roccstar in the studio. Basically, they know each other from back in the day and Moniece wanted to get back to recording so of course, Roccstar the snake saw this as the prime opportunity. via GIPHY Brooke, who is supposed to be Moniece’s friend, offers to come for moral support. What she actually does is take over the session, singing Moniece’s lines and ish, because, Brooke is thirsty like that. Anyway, Moniece struggles a bit since it has been a while and her vocals are rusty and she’s nervous, so Brooke and Roccstar go in the booth to listen to the song and Brooke tells Roccstar that she wants to “help Moniece catch a vibe.” We all know that’s code for outshining her on the song, especially when Brooke, in her confessional, says it looks like Roccstar got himself into another Amber Diamond situation, and we all know how awful that was. Moniece senses what’s about to happen and starts freaking out. She nearly passes out and it’s probably a panic attack but you know they have to drag this out so the medics come through to tend to Moniece while Roccstar and Brooke are still in the booth listening to the whole drama go down and basically trashing Moniece. Roccstar actually starts laughing about this situation and calls it that Moniece probably freaked out because she was triggered by what was about to happen with Brooke and thought a panic attack would shut everything down. He didn’t even think Moniece actually would go to the hospital but she does. Meanwhile, Brooke and Roccstar stay behind so that Brooke can record Moniece’s record. via GIPHY Next, we get back to the A1 and Lyrica drama and then there’s the girls trip. Will Bridget Kelly, Moniece, La’Britney, Teairra Mari and Brooke Valentine kill each other across the pond? Probably. Come back next week if you’re here for it, though!
