Nene is on her grind. Nene Leakes Will Return To “Glee” Get ready for the force that is Nene to invade your screens. According to The Huffington Post “Glee” Season 5 just got a whole lot sassier, with E! News reporting that NeNe Leakes is set to reprise her role as Coach Roz Washington in multiple episodes. “Glee” fans last saw Leakes in the Season 4 episode “All or Nothing,” where she served as coach of the Cheerios after replacing the fired Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). Leakes was also a regular on NBC’s recently cancelled “The New Normal,” and continues to participate in Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” series along with her own show, “I Dream of NeNe,” which will air a wedding spinoff this fall. There’s no word yet on which episodes of “Glee” Season 5 Leakes will appear in. The show’s first two episodes back will feature a Beatles tribute, while episode three will deal with the death of star Cory Monteith and will serve to write his character, Finn Hudson, out of the series. Rivera and her 25-year-old rapper beau first made their relationship public in April when they stepped out arm-in-arm on the red carpet of the premiere of 42 in Hollywood. Glee Cast Gathers for Cory Monteith Memorial

The cast of Glee paid final respects today to Cory Monteith. The actor – who passed away from a drug overdose on July 13 – has been remembered via Instagram and via song by various former costars. But Fox released a statement today that said cast and crew members came together for a private memorial. “Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith,” the network said. “We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time.” Prodution was pushed back a week in light of Monteith’s passing and Glee Season 5 will now premiere on September 26.

Jenna Ushkowitz Remembers Cory Monteith Via Instagram Photo, Statement

Jenna Ushkowitz is the latest Glee cast member to address the death of Cory Monteith. Over the weekend, Chord Overstreet dedicated a song to his late colleague, while Dianna Agron has expressed her remorse over the passing and Ryan Murphy has given us an idea of how his show will handle such a tragedy. Now, Ushkowitz has published an Instagram photo of the tight-knit group along with a message to Monteith: “I am so grateful that Glee brought this group of extraordinary individuals together to form a family,” Ushkowitz wrote on the social network, adding: “I was lucky enough to closely experience the love and light that Cory shared with the world, as well as having the privilege of traveling down the road together on a once in a lifetime journey. Cory always reminded me to be gracious, kind and open, and he will leave a mark in my heart forever. Thank you everyone for your constant support and love while we mourn the loss of our dear friend, and continued support to Cory’s family, and to Lea.” Glee will start production in August on season 5 and premiere new episodes on September 26.

Misery Loves Company: Cory Monteith’s Low Down Dirty Friend Allegedly Scored The Drug That Killed Him

R.I.P. Cory . It’s always your family and friends that bring you down. Friend Gave Cory Monteith Drugs Maybe his friend was jealous of Cory’s success and gave him the smack so Cory could be on his level. Some people have that crabs in a bucket mentality. Tragic. According to Radar Online After Cory Monteith‘s shocking death, several of his friends spoke out to insist that the Glee star had seemed to be back on the straight and narrow since leaving rehab in May. He had worked to surround himself with good influences, like girlfriend Lea Michele. But now, a source tells RadarOnline.com, there was one person in Cory’s inner circle who carries a good deal of the blame for Cory’s fatal overdose — and even allegedly scored the drug that killed him. “You don’t have to look very far in Vancouver to find the person who gave Cory his drugs,” the source insisted. “There is a despicable individual … who claims he was a friend of Cory. Allegedly, he was the one who gave Cory the smack, according to [people] close to him.” On Thursday, just days before Cory died, he bought a glass pipe from a local head shop, according to the source. “Cory knew what he was doing but wouldn’t buy his own drugs, so allegedly he asked his … friend to score it,” the source says, insisting that that person is “guilty of unwittingly assisting in the death of ‘his friend’ Cory Monteith.” Unfortunately for those seeking closure, the police investigation is officially complete and officers will not be further investigating this individual. During a police press conference on Tuesday, one agitated journalist asked if the person would get away with it. The police rep responded, “There’s an inherent risk when you’re using illicit drugs and there’s nothing legally as far as we can see that would cause us to investigate further.” Real friends get you help. They don’t encourage you to stick the needle in your arm harder.
