TMZ confirms that a package with white powder was sent to CBS studios yesterday, along with a message that read: This is what will happen to you if Bristol Palin stays on [Dancing with the Stars]. Seriously, people can be messed up. The powder was determined to be harmless, but law enforcement officials are investigating the situation and treating it like a legitimate threat. In 2010, Palin was at the center of a similar incident.
The first and only time I saw Glee – I thought Lea Michele was a man…you know either born man and on therapy….or post op…I just had a feeling that she came with testicles at one point in her life….and I don’t mean came in the traditional sense…I mean came stock with testicles… I figured that she fit in with their overly politically correct concept that in itself is racist and not gay friendly….when you have on fat black chick, one kid in a wheel chair, one gay jock, it is almost like a satire or improv group mocking the ethnic, disabled, and sexually defective. Then I found out she wasn’t a tranny, but in fact just an ugly girl used to let all the ugly girls around the world to feel comfortable and secure in watching her, instead of a babe, as the main character…. The whole thing confuses me….but not as much as this shit she’s trying to get sexy for but I’ll still look at it….
With a sold-out crowd that brought in more than 50,000 people, Music Midtown proved it wasn’t going anywhere. T.I. and Luda hit the stage on different days but both performances had people hyped! Held in Piedmont Park it was considered an unqualified success. According to The Atlanta Journal , T.I. shut it down during his set on Friday… One of the more enthusiastic crowds was for Atlanta rapper T.I., whose wave-an-A-shaped hand- in-the-air performance showed off his charisma, if not his fluidity of his skills. Backed by a team on drums, bass and guitar, a DJ handling tracks and the requisite on-stage entourage, T.I. performed his hits “100 Grand,” “Whatever You Like” and his 2010 smash with Rihanna, “Live Your Life.” With five albums under his belt – or whatever one uses to secure sagging pants – T.I. raced through a lot of material during his 45-minute set, sometimes performing only 60-second snippets. However, his brevity didn’t disappoint this hip-hop-savvy audience that bounced and roared when some of those samples included covers of Kanye West and Jay-Z. Luda gave good music on Saturday… Before his set, the Atlanta rapper, clad in his stage uniform of black tank top with USA across the front, black shorts and also headphones around his neck, professed genuine excitement not only to be playing a festival in his adopted hometown, but also that he had a full hour to perform and could pull from his eight-album catalog. Backed by a full band, Luda asked the by-then-sold-out crowd, “Are you ready to party tonight?” Snippets of his high-profile work with others – Usher’s “Yeah,” Enrique Iglesias’ “Tonight I’m Loving You” (the clean version) and Fergie’s “Glamorous” – were interspersed with his own material. The agreeable crowd put their hands in the air, waved them like they just didn’t care and followed Luda’s other cheerful instructions on tracks such as “What’s Your Fantasy” and “Stand Up.” His fluidity as a rapper can never be overstated – he’s like verbal liquid when he gets going – but what made Ludacris’ set even more enjoyable was his obvious glee at performing. Bret Easton Ellis is not one of those people. Ellis, who recently referred to Glee as a puddle of HIV and said Matt Bomer shouldn’t star in the 50 Shades of Grey movie because he’s gay, is weighing in on Paris’ off-color remarks. “I kind of agree with Paris Hilton,” the American Psycho author. He also name-checked Grindr, the online hookup site that figured prominently in the hotel heiress’ anti-gay rant – a conversation with a gay male friend recorded secretly by a cab driver. “As someone who has used Grindr , Paris Hilton isn’t that far off,” wrote Ellis. In the wake of the backlash, Hilton issued an apology letter posted on GLAAD’s website, saying, “I am so sorry and so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families.” “Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know.” Her publicist also continued Hilton’s mea culpa tour, telling E! Paris meant “to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease.” While it’s ridiculous that Paris, or anyone, is secretly recorded in a cab … it’s also ridiculous to say this in just about any context. Dianna Agron did not appear on the Glee Season 4 premiere. And questions are now being raised over how much more we’ll see of the actress in the role of Quinn Fabray. According to Us Weekly , Agron has worked out an early exit from the musical comedy. She’ll only make a couple more appearances before saying goodbye. “Dianna was unhappy and had been trying to get off the show for a while,” claims the Glee insider . “She and producers came to an agreement where they let her go. That’s what she wanted.” Based on the character’s storyline, Quinn is a freshman at Yale, meaning it would be easy to simply write her out.
