Naya Rivera Releasing A Tell-All Memoir Naya Rivera has a story to sell. She just announced that she’s sold a memoir entitled Sorry, Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up , set for a late Spring 2016 release date. In addition to talking about her life as a child star and rising to popularity on the cast of “Glee,” Naya is supposedly planning to delve into her broke & struggling days as a Hooters waitress and discuss her dating life. So does this mean we’re going to find out where things went left with Big Sean and how she ended up STILL getting married and knocked up five minutes later? Via E!online : While she doesn’t confirm exactly what kind of stories she’s going to tell, a source tells E! News readers can expect the actress to be very candid. “She’s going to be very honest and real. She talks about growing up poor and all the trouble she had when she was younger,” the source tells us. The insider adds, “It’s things that a lot of woman can relate to…She talks about having to choose between her career and school and she shares all the crazy jobs she had before landing Glee,” like working at Hooters. And of course, Naya will also be “giving lots of Glee behind-the-scenes secrets.” “A cast member of 1990s sitcoms such as Family Matters and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Rivera struggled for years after finding stardom as a child,” Publisher’s Weekly stated for the release. “Chronicling her path from riches to rags and back again—she was a Hooters waitress at one point, before landing the role of Santana Lopez on the Fox hit Glee—the book will be a warts-and-all account.” The book, which will be released next spring, is said to include “candid thoughts on topics ranging from dating… to the challenges of being mixed-race in Hollywood.” Well we’ve already heard some of her interesting views on race …this book should be entertaining at least. Justin Bieber has paid special treatment to an important woman in his life. No, not Selena Gomez . And, no, despite what you may have read more recently, not Kendall Jenner . We refer, instead, to Pattie Mallette, Bieber’s mother, who gave birth to the superstar in her teens, who raised him as a single mother and who has stood by her son through the last difficult year of his life. “This little 4’9 woman may not look like a mom but she is, and she’s the best at it!” wrote Bieber on Instagram of his mom. “This woman taught me everything I know, how to love how to be compassionate how to be strong when the only thing u wanna be is weak how to stand when all you want to do is fall.” As he’s done multiple times over the past several weeks, Bieber goes on to admit that he’s often acted like a moron over the past year or so. But Mallette has kept him as grounded and sane as possible. “If it wasn’t for this woman lets just say I would have had a way LONGER stupid phase. I love u and thank u for not giving up on me,” Justin concluded. Pretty darn sweet, huh? It’s very far from clear why Maci cares as much as she does. Rest in peace, Cory Monteith. The Glee star tragically died of a heroin overdose after a night out in Vancouver in July of 2013. He left behind an impressive professional legacy via his role as Finn Hudson, as well as an endless number of friends and loved ones in the entertainment industry.
