Since that whole football comeback didn’t work out, T.O. has taken his slore-y talents elsewhere. According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Mr. O says he makes between $2,800 – $6,400 per tweet. In one instance, he pulled in $2,800 to tweet for Cutters — a football glove company. He raked in $4,800 for tweeting on behalf of Old Navy. And he got $6,400 for tweeting about Fantapper — a sports social networking site. T.O. also discloses he’s earned residual money for an episode of “Punk’d” and for his appearances on “Any Given Sunday” and “Necessary Roughness.” And get this … T.O. scored $10 grand for promoting Yahoo Fantasy Football and $20 grand for promoting a Super Bowl party. Here’s what else was learned about T.O.: He spends more than $80K in personal expenses and $40K in child support. Damn, Terrell! No wonder he’s trying to stay in the NFL! Eva Longoria who recently shut down rumors that she’s dating NBA player Matt Barnes was spotted picking him up from the airport. According to TMZ , Longoria picked up Matt who tried to go incognito by pulling a hoodie over his head. The two have stated that they’re just friends who became close while working on a charity project, but I’m thinking there is something more going on between these two. Longoria is reportedly currently dating Eduardo Cruz, so hopefully he’s not bothered that his girl picked up her male friend from the airport!! The day Matt Barnes sent out his statement about kicking his baby mama Gloria to the curb, she and the other Angry Birds Of LA were over at VH1 taping their “reunion” show. So of course, the good folks at VH1 jumped on the opportunity to ask Gloria about it. I saw the news today about you and Matt, and I know your relationship has been shown a lot this season and we’ll see even more of what’s going on with you a the end of the season, but can you talk about your split? Matt and I do have kids and we’re trying to be as cordial as we can right now and we’ll be in each other’s lives forever, but as relationships go, we have our ups and downs. It hasn’t been an easy ride moving across the country twice, having kids at 21 when I just graduated college, it hasn’t been easy. And now Matt has the lockout, so everything has been stressful with the breakup, the lockout, everything, it’s been a whirlwind. But we’re still friends and we’re still working things out and I wish him nothing but the best. I just asked your sister Laura about it and she said she thinks you’ll get back together. Of course she does. My whole family is rooting for that man. I swear. They would pick him over me. I’ve learned my lesson, never say never and I think anything is possible, but right now I’m taking my time to grow as an individual. Not only for myself but for my family. We’ll see. I’m not going to say never, I’m optimistic, but for now…we’re going our separate ways. But if our paths cross again it’s meant to be. For now, we’re just taking our time to do our own thing. And Laura of course wants it. With her situation with Gilbert (Arenas), she’s been in and out, out and in. She has a lot of experience and good advice when it comes to situations like this. Do you look up to her and think if they can get back together, anything’s possible? Anything is possible but am I looking at them like “Yay, we can get back together because Laura and Gilbert have fluctuated so much and they are back together”? No. I look up to my sister, I think she’s a very string person but in terms of relationship, I’m walking to my own drum here. Do you want to sow your oats and date other people, is that part of it? I think that’s a lot of people’s assumption, that oh, she wants to f— around and f— everything because he did and it’s like NO. A), it’s such a double standard, even if I wanted to I can’t because they’d put me on blast if I did. And B) I have kids, you know? I’m not looking to date anyone at this moment, I’m just going to take this opportunity to take a step back and reevaluate where I wanna go in life. And I think I have a long way to go to make my mark in feature films and in my community, but I’m happy. I’m happy with where I am now. Sounds good, albeit a little delusional, right? But you know are always three sides to every story…
Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan of the NBA’s LA Lakers and VH1’s Basketball Wives fame, respectively, have announced their split. They had a nice run together, mostly. After calling off their engagement last year, but convincing the public they’re still a couple, the two confirmed the breakup we ALL knew was coming this week. Matt emailed out a statement today about the split from Gloria Govan (sister of Gilbert Arenas baby mana/Shaq mistress Laura Govan ), saying the following: “I’d like to address rumors surrounding mine and Gloria’s relationship. We’ve reached the difficult decision of ending our relationship and will be going our separate ways. We will work together to raise our sons and wish each other only the best.” Gloria just tweeted her statement saying: “I’m sure you guys are hearing a ton of buzz about Matt and Me breaking up, sorry to say… its true!!!!!! But the most important thing is focusing on my kids and continuing to have a good relationship with their father, thanks for your support!!!” A heated Twitter exchange this month between Matt and a fan – who suggested Barnes should Govan or else someone else will – was a bad sign. Responded Barnes: “He can have her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Classy. Meanwhile, she Tweeted Saturday: “If someone is dumb enough to walk away, be smart enough to let them go. Is it just me, or is this season of “Basketball Wives LA” turning into the “Draya Show”? Last night’s episode was centered around none other than Draya as the other wives decided to meet up YET AGAIN to discuss their feelings about their fellow cast member. During their meeting, Jackie makes it clear that she is not trying to “endorse” Draya (I’m not exactly sure what she means by endorse..) but she simply wants to help her. Gloria, on the other hand, who was once all about Draya, has definitely turned her back on her. “Jackie seems to be way more forgiving of Draya’s situation than any of us,” Gloria said, “I don’t care, that girl can get hit by a bus and then keep it movin’.” Can someone please remind me why Draya needs forgiveness from them again? Imani and Malaysia also meet up for lunch where they talk about who else but Draya. Imani brings up how it looked as if Malaysia had Draya’s back during their “confrontation” on last week’s episode and how the two seem to be very close. Malaysia shuts that assumption down very quickly saying, “If I’m crying, I would want someone console me…but I don’t know her, I don’t want to get to know her…She came out the gate talking s— about me..” SMH.. I’m so confused! Moving on from this Draya situation (only momentarily), the girls are still focused on getting Imani a new man and they each bring in a guy for Imani to meet. Imani likes Jackie’s guy, Kyle, the best and asks Jackie to give her the details on this new man. Somehow the conversation switches BACK to Draya (why am I not surprised) and we learn that Jackie has somehow changed her mind about wanting to help her to “I really wanted to spank her, it’s like you don’t even know us. Yeah, I’m over Draya”. Guess we’re off Draya again. Laura threw a charity event for a children’s organization that she is on the board of and Jackie and Draya show up to the event. Surprisingly, the girls get along great, hug awkwardly and say “I love your hair! You look sexy!” They talk about the confrontation briefly and clear the air, for now at least. Guess we’re back on Draya again… In other non-Draya related news, Gloria did a sexy photo shoot lingerie where she looked smokin’ hot and Imani and Kyle went out on their first date. Although it seemed like Imani really liked Kyle, I’m not sure if he meets to her standards because he has a roommate and doesn’t make $800,000 a year. Yup, dealbreaker. Thanks to some incredibly gifted, and we’re sure very persistent, publicist, someone thought asking Gloria Govan and Matt Barnes about their love life as parents would be interesting. It wasn’t. But part of it did bring up an interesting question for us… Gloria, how do you and Matt keep things exciting? Do you have date nights? We’re super sappy. We’re into the rose petals and candles and balloons. He leaves me notes everywhere — like in my car, my purse, and places I would never think to look in, like my sunglasses case — and then I just find them throughout the day. They’re really brilliant notes. He’s always encouraging and supportive. He’s so cute. We used to have date night a lot, but now that the boys are older, we stay up later, so it’s hard. We have this really cool balcony that overlooks the water that’s very romantic and chill and we end up there just talking. We catch each other up. We get up and we’re like, wow, it’s 1 o’clock in the morning. We try to chill. We used to go on walks all the time, but with my schedule and his schedule it’s hard. Plus, I’m trying to do “Dancing with the Stars” next season so it’s just going to get even worse. I’m excited. I love to dance… I love to cut a rug. It’s fun just to let it loose. Okay, beyond the mystery that is what qualifies someone as a “star” as far as “Dancing With The Stars” is concerned, that answer left us so confused.
