Chris Brown has been invited back to appear on “Good Morning America” after smashing a window in his dressing room after an appearance on the show yesterday. Brown reportedly broke the window after being asked repeatedly about assaulting Rihanna in 2009. “I wish him the absolute best,” Robin Roberts said on “Good Morning America” today. “We extended the invitation to him [to come back], and sure hope he takes us up on it because I’d sure love to have another chat with him.” Roberts, who was also one of the first to interview Brown after the assault, says that she informed Brown of the questions she was going to ask him in advance of the interview. Brown approved the questions . “Any time we have a guest, we let them know ahead of time the subject matter and the topics. And even right before the interview I let him know,” Roberts said on air this morning. “I was shocked like everyone else, because we’ve had a wonderful relationship. I’ve been to his home, he’s very gracious, and we’ve had easy conversation.” Roberts also says that Brown is considering the invitation. “Good Morning America” personality Robin Roberts says that her questions about Rihanna were approved by Chris Brown before their interview this morning. From TMZ : Roberts insists both she and other “GMA” staff members spoke with Chris before the interview and asked if it would be OK to fire off “a few questions” about the Rihanna incident … and Chris approved. Robin is telling people at the show she did NOT try to set him up … and insists, “I’m pulling for the guy.” As for the broken window, sources say no one in the studio saw Chris throw the chair into the window … but he was definitely in the dressing room when the window was smashed.
