Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are back together! The singers posed for a silly selfie on Thursday, one that marked their first photo as a tandem since 2014. The artist basically grew up together, appearing on Barney and then both going on to become Disney Channel stars. They collaborated on music, they filmed cute YouTube videos as a pair, they posed on Instagram as total besties … but then the friendship seemed to fall apart for awhile. Lovato even acknowledged in an interview last summer that she and Gomez were no longer close. “I’ve known her since we were 7, and we did fall apart for a while,” Gomez said of Lovato early last year, adding of her pal’s rehab stint: “She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing. I processed it saying, ‘OK, I don’t understand what she’s going through so I’m just going to do this.’ I don’t think it was fair, and I’m so happy that I have her back in my life now.” That was pretty big of Selena, to take responsibility for the relationship souring. But now it appears as if all is nice and sweet again and we can’t wait to see more of Demi and Selena all close and silly again. We missed them!
