Source: Stacistatic / Stacistatic We’re not sure if the the Drake and Pusha T beef is officially over, but in the words of Drizzy himself “We waited four days, n**** where you at?!” Aubrey did make a slight reaapearance on social media after a fan asked where his response diss to Push was. He replied: Folks have been dragging Drake for being sensitive for so long that no one probably has took the time to consider the struggles the 6 God has problems had to encounter in his life. So we listed some possible ones for you: 1. Growing up biracial in a predominately Jewish community Maybe this childhood insecurity is why Drake doesn’t speak too much on Black issues. Pusha T sure exposed his Achilles heel. 2. Not having his dad around In his track “0-100”, Drake rapped, “I been ready since my dad said he was coming to the house to get me / he ain’t show up. Valuable lesson, man I had to grow up” 3. Aaliyah’s death Drake has never been shy about his love for Aaliyah. The tattoo, multiple songs dedicated to her. He even has her face on his earpiece when he performs sometimes. 4. Losing J.Lo to A. Rod. In 2016, Drake and J.Lo trolled us all, making us think they’d be the next big power couple in Hollywood. Then the next thing we knew, she was boo’d up with A. Rod. He even rapped about losing her in his song “Diplomatic Immunity”. 5. Getting his heartbroken by Rihanna Source: David M. Benett / Getty Drake has expressed his love for Rih Rih so many times that it started to make her uncomfortable. In a recent interview, the Bad Gal revealed that her and Drizzy “don’t have a friendship [now].” Ouch! 6. Getting slapped by Diddy Rumor has it that Diddy laid the paws on Drizzy over the “0-100” beat. Neither camp has confirmed — but Charlamagne says he knows what’s up. Hit the flip for more.

One place of worship in the Gold Coast, Australia apparently didn’t think twice when they decided to put up a sign that read, “FORGIVENESS IS SWALLOWING WHEN YOU’D RATHER SPIT.” Now surely all Christian folks’ minds aren’t in the gutter, but come on… How can you NOT laugh. Or maybe it’s just us sinners… Don’t judge. God’s working on all of us. The Anglican Church of the Holy Spirit explained their raunchy sign for folks whose mind was, shall we say…elsewhere. “You don’t open your mouth and yell at somebody, you close your mouth and swallow,” a spokesperson said. “If you want to say something, keep your mouth closed for a bit. Swallow it, don’t spit it out,” they continued. (Sigh) Be patient with us lawd! If you need to laugh at more hilarious church signs that you’ll ask for forgiveness for later, swipe through for the naughty!

The 90th annual Academy Awards aired live from Los Angeles on Sunday night. And there was plenty for host Jimmy Kimmel to riff on during the ceremony, from Harvey Weinstein to softcore fish pornography to a certain President of the United States. Yes, Donald Trump was mentioned a few (dozen) times. But we’re not here to delve into any divisive political issues. We’re here rundown all the winners (and all the losers, too, namely those NOT listed below). The rumor is that Fat Mariah got some Gastric Bypass after her billionaire boyfriend and her split up before their publicity stunt wedding….something I think she even released a reality show about…. because I guess girl had more life to bring the world..through terribe song and dance….and Christmas Carols… But she was able to keep the tits we can assume old man Tommy Matolla appreciated when she was 19 and her abducted her, giving her the life she deserved, by making her a huge fucking star, all rich as fuck so that he didn’t have to pay as much alimony after the divorce… These rich people are crazy, but she’s lookin’ good, but in my defence, I am blinded by tits. The biggest disappointment from the Olympics was the overhyped Lindsey Vonn, not winning her Gold medal, despite being this Hollywood, glitz and glam, Tiger Woods fucking “athlete” who forgets she’s an athlete, because she’s more into wearing tight slutty dresses….. The whole going to the Olympics thing was clearly to maintain another four years of sponsors, if she medaled, people will ride that and throw sponsor money at her, as she tries to figure out how to become a social media influencer, or movie star…that will work because America likes familiar faces and making the rich richer…. What I learned during these Olympics was that Lindsey Vonn’s face and body is pretty manly…and that she’s really not hot…but an American Hero to some, mainly the people marketing her…and here she is being “FANCY” Her ass at the olympics The post Lindsey Vonn Olympic Cleavage of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .
Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty On Sunday afternoon, Ms. Tina Lawson casually posted Beyoncé’s nearly waist length, thick natural ponytail on Instagram and blew up the Internet. What was a moment of pride for a typical, social media awkward Black mama, quickly shifted into a cultural debate over whether Bey’s tresses were really straight from the scalp. The incredulous camp came off as “haters,” doubting the ability of a Black woman to grow almost 14 inches of hair in just four years. On the other hand, the believers ushered in an even more problematic trope, that this amount of growth is possible if Black Women just simply “took care of their hair.” Both sides of the argument illuminate the genetic and socio-economic bias that still plagues our communities when we discuss natural hair. Source: ShadeRoom IG / Shaderoom IG Source: ShadeRoom IG / Shaderoom IG Source: ShadeRoom IG / Shaderoom IG Beyoncé famously chopped her hair back in 2013 into a short coif while filming the “Pretty Hurts” video from her self-titled album. At the time, Beyoncé’s hair stylist Neal Farinah said of the brave move, “We were showing all of the trials and tribulations women have to go through, and showing the pressure it puts on women to look a certain way, because the myths about how a woman should look, they’re crazy.” Sadly, the social media conversation surrounding Beyonce’s hair growth since her big chop would reinforce the pressure on Black women’s natural hair to “look a certain way.” Black women are privy to the texture wars that thwarted the natural hair movement since it resurfaced back in the early 2000s. 3C, wavy, long hair became the gold standard of naturalistas, and its preference was evident in both YouTube views and advertising. And for the women whose hair grew out of their scalp a little kinkier or tightly coiled, the banner message was to manipulate and twist your hair as much as possible into an “acceptable” look. Many 4cs, like myself, became exhausted with the product trials, heat abstinence, the endless tutorials and frankly, the lack of representation. And that deep sense of exhaustion wasn’t because we were lazy or just “didn’t find the right product.” It’s because we were literally working against our DNA. As #BeyonceHairGate believers took to social media to sound off on the scandal, the refrain was “if black women just take care of their hair, they would achieve this growth.” Which is completely false. That line of thinking echoes the pervasive stereotypes that diminish kinky-coifed naturals into unkept “bush babies.” Beyond a typical washing, moisturizing, conditioning and trim routine, there is nothing many Black women can do to force hair growth. The scarfing down of horse vitamin pills and the hours spent manipulating kinky hair into compliance does not necessarily yield longer hair. The 6 inches of growth a year we are scientifically entitled to don’t always net out because of genetic factors. Some women have genetically finer hair that is more prone to breakage, split ends and single strand knots. Some women may have thicker hair that grows out and not down. Some women have the thickest, largest Afro that appears thin once straightened. And without weekly trips to the hairdresser (which quickly add up and speak to the socio-economic disparity of hair care), a lot of women with breakage-prone hair opt for protective styling to protect their ends. So yes, some Black women can grow long hair. Others choose not to. Even more find their hair working against them in the quest for inches. And that’s okay. The shame associated with not having long hair always tilts back to personal responsibility, when there are so many variables outside of our control that contribute to hair growth. As we dismantle the hold that white supremacy has on the black community economically, politically and legally, it’s time we get their hands off our perceptions of our hair. We can celebrate Beyonce’s hair journey while acknowledging that she has a genetic predisposition to socially-acceptable natural hair. RELATED LINKS Long Hair Don’t Care! In promotion of her first solo album in 11 years, Fergie has opened up in a new interview about her past drug use. And the artist has held absolutely nothing back. “At my lowest point, I was [suffering from] chemically induced psychosis and dementia,” Fergie tells the United Kingdon’s iNews about her use of crystal meth. This was back in the early 2000s, she says. “I was hallucinating on a daily basis. It took a year after getting off that drug for the chemicals in my brain to settle so that I stopped seeing things. “I’d just be sitting there, seeing a random bee or bunny.” Wow. That’s pretty crazy and intense. Fergie also says her weight plummeted to around 90 pounds during this time. The artist’s hallucinations became so serious, Fergie says candidly, that she believed the CIA, FBI and a SWAT team were following her around. She eventually sought solace in a church, the only place she felt safe and protected. But then she had a breakthrough that probably saved her life. “I remember thinking: ‘If I walk outside, and the SWAT team’s out there, I was right all along. “But if they’re not out there, then it’s the drugs making me see things and I’m going to end up in an institution. “And if it really is the drugs, I don’t want to live my life like this any more, anyway.’ “I walked out of the church; obviously there was no SWAT team, it was just me in a parking lot. It was a freeing moment.” Fergie admits the drugs were “a hell of a lot of fun” for a period. Until, of course, they weren’t. “It’s so incredible, I know. I think I must have guardian angels,” the singer says of simply being alive. Prior to this honest spilling of very personal details, Fergie made news in September for her separation from Josh Duhamel . The stars had been married for eight years when they made this announcement and they share a four-year old son, Axl. Early on in this interview, Fergie says she’s proud of Duhamel for directing a new movie and says the pair tries to FaceTime with their child as often as possible when on the road. They are clearly on solid terms. Says the singer of her estranged husband and their priorities: “I’ve just released my first solo album in 11 years, and I’m out promoting it. So there’s a lot going on. “That’s why we wanted to find our footing with our separation before we announced it publicly: to make sure we really got it together for our kid. “It’s a constant juggling act.” Considering where she’s been in the past, though, it’s something we have no doubt Fergie can figure out and make work. Just take a look at how far she’s come.
Back in October, Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney revealed how she was molested by her team doctor , Larry Nassar. In November, teammate Aly Raisman added her name to the list of over 140 young women with their own stories of abuse in the guise of medical care by Dr. Nassar. On Thursday, Larry Nassar was sentenced — not for sex abuse, but for child pornography charges. Dr. Larry Nassar, who is 54 years old, has been in prison while awaiting sentencing. During that time, McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman revealed that Dr. Nassar had molested them , sharing their heartbreaking #MeToo stories with the world. Like so many others, these Olympic superstars describe Dr. Nassar, at the time their team doctor, administering “treatments” to them under the guise of medical practice. Olympic athletes (and others) often require legitimate therapies such as massage. Nassar, it is described, would use these as opportunities to molest the young girls who had been entrusted to his care. These monstrous deeds are evil to their core and unforgivable. But, though Nassar has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sexual assault (a drop in the bucket compared to the number of accusers), it is not for these heinous crimes that he’s been sentenced. Larry Nassar was on trial for possession of child pornography. How much child pornography ? … asked virtually no one. He was found to have come into possession of 37,000 images that constitute child pornography. That almost certainly means that he was collecting photos of very real children who are victims or who were victims. Awful on its own, particularly if he then shared those images or in any way financially compensated the ones who gave them to him. Dr. Nassar was also accused of trying to destroy those images in order to avoid being held accountable for possessing child pornography. His sentence: 60 years in federal prison. Federal Judge Janet Neff explained (though she really didn’t need to) her reasoning behind the decision: That Larry Nassar “should never again have access to children.” We strongly agree. Possibly influencing the judge’s decision were impact statements from Nassar’s many victims, including McKayla Maroney. “Dr. Nassar was not a doctor, he in fact is, was, and forever shall be, a child molester, and a monster of a human being.” Agreed. “It all started when I was 13 or 14 years old, at one of my first National Team training camps, in Texas, and it didn’t end until I left the sport.” That is a nightmare. “It seemed whenever and wherever this man could find the chance, I was ‘treated.’ It happened in London before my team and I won the gold medal, and It happened before I won my Silver Medal.” Awful. “For me, the scariest night of my life happened when I was 15 years old. I had flown all day and night with the team to get to Tokyo.” This is not new information, and matches what she disclosed months ago. But that doesn’t mean that it was any easier for her to write. “He’d given me a sleeping pill for the flight, and the next thing I know, I was all alone with him in his hotel room getting a ‘treatment.’ I thought I was going to die that night.” McKayla’s mother, Erin Maroney, also gave an impact statement about how this traumatic experience changed her daughter’s life. “This experience has been shattering to McKayla.” Of course it was. “She has transformed from a bubbly, positive, loving, world class athlete into a young adult who was deeply depressed, at times suicidal and essentially descended into an emotional abyss.” Abusing a child is a tragedy that can never be undone. They can heal, but they’ll never recover the formative years that they lost to trauma. “At times I was unsure whether I would open her bedroom door and find her dead.” We are eternally grateful that this monster’s abuses did not claim McKayla’s life. “Her father and I have been living this nightmare for years and until recently we felt hopeless. Nassar and those individuals and institutions that protected him almost snuffed out my daughter.” Michegan State University is accused of having helped to cover up Larry Nassar’s crimes. They adamantly deny it. View Slideshow: Hollywood Sex Scandal: Who’s Been Caught? Accused? Fired?
Simone Biles Blasts Gabby Douglas’ Comments On Twitter 2x Olympian Gabby Douglas is catching some major heat from half of Twitter for some Ayesha Curry-flavored commentary she delivered in response to one of her teammates’ post about a woman’s right to dress sexy if they feel like it. The trouble all began when fellow Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman — who was actually sexually assaulted by the Olympic team doctor as a minor — posted a note, detailing that the way a woman dresses does not dictate a man’s right to be rude, abusive, or to assault her. For context, Aly has caught flack for her claims of assault years ago after doing a sexy topless Sports Illustrated shoot earlier this year. We are all in this together. If we are going to create change I need all your help. pic.twitter.com/q9d12z0KHn — Alexandra Raisman (@Aly_Raisman) November 17, 2017 Instead of simply supporting her teammate or, maybe…just saying NOTHING if she felt differently, Gabby decided to chime in with her own two cents about women making it their duty to wear turtlenecks and ankle skirts if they don’t want men to treat them like sexual playthings. In steps Simone Biles, ready with yet another gold-medal dose of shade for Gabby and her shadily unsupportive commentary. shocks me that I’m seeing this but it doesn’t surprise me… honestly seeing this brings me to tears bc as your teammate I expected more from you & to support her. I support you Aly & all the other women out there!
