Eva Amurri to Play Doctor on CBS

What can you say about Eva Amurri ? She’s the daughter of busty babe Susan Sarandon , who talked Eva into making her nude debut on an October 2009 episode of the Showtime series Californication . She’s a graduate of Brown University and speaks four languages. She and her huge knockers are engaged to some lucky bozo named Kyle Martino . And now she’s set to star alongside Christine Lahti in the pilot episode of the CBS drama The Doctor. Lahti, who won a Golden Globe for playing a doctor on the medical drama Chicago Hope , plays an MD who reconnects with her adult children when she joins the family medical practice. Mr. Skin can see one plot hole already—Lahti doesn’t have the sweater-sacks to have spawned a daughter with dairy bombs like that. But if Christine’s the doctor, does that make Eva the nurse? The wet nurse?

The 2011 SAG Awards was filled with Oscar winners, Emmy winners, well-respected producers, directors, writers… … and Kim Kardashian . Despite the lack of a category for Most Successful Professional Celebrity, Kim showed up on the red carpet of this event last night, seeming more out of place than Charlie Sheen would in church. Did she at least look good? You tell us, as Kardashian is matched against Glee star Lea Michele in the following Fashion Face-Off. For the former’s sake, let’s hope readers don’t vote on talent alone.

Yesterday, Movieline compiled all of the reactions from this year’s Academy Award nominees , but we failed to include the even better reactions from this year’s non-nominees. Like Cher, who vented her disappointment over Burlesque ‘s Best Song snub yesterday on Twitter. “We didn’t get a nomination 4 best song ” “The Golden Globe 4 BEST SONG & not even get nominated by the OSCARS ? Ashton Kutcher Talks ‘No Strings Attached’ Sex Scenes’

By Kara Warner Ashton Kutcher Photo: MTV News In the new romantic comedy “No Strings Attached,” Ashton Kutcher and Golden Globe winner Natalie Portman play two people who try to just be “sex friends” rather than entering into a traditional romantic relationship. As the “sex friends” moniker might imply, there are quite a few racy scenes in the film and, in particular, one long mash-up of their characters engaging in various acts and positions, in various locations. We’ll call it the “sex montage.” When MTV News caught up with Kutcher recently, we asked him if there were any bloopers to come out of filming so many challenging-looking scenarios for the montage. “There weren’t really any bloopers,” he said. “It’s always sort of awkward and giggly, right? Because you’re there and you’re with someone you sort of know, and there’s a lot of people watching,” he explained of the awkward factor involved in filming love scenes. “It’s always kind of in-between scenes you try to make jokes and divert it, ‘Oh it’s not a big deal,’ try to make it seem like it’s not a big deal.” So there were no major injuries suffered then? “Nah, there were no major injuries,” Kutcher assured us. “There was a dirty-feet situation,” he revealed. “Because the ground was dirty, and there was one scene where we both had our feet up, and they were showing in camera. We were walking around getting ready to do the scene, and the set floor was a little dirty, so we both had really dirty feet. That was weird, I don’t know why. … No dirty feet in bed,” he added. At Golden Globes afterparty, MTV News pressed the ‘Blue Valentine’ star for details moments after his exchange with the action hero. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Bruce Willis and Ryan Gosling meet for the first time at the Weinstien Golden Globes afterparty Photo: MTV News One of the best things about covering awards-show red carpets — in addition to all of the glamorous fashion — is getting to watch all of the celebrity-on-celebrity interactions. A particularly exciting exchange went down at a Golden Globes afterparty hosted by the Weinsteins, where MTV News looked on as A-list actors Bruce Willis and Ryan Gosling met for the first time. We were lucky enough to chat with Gosling moments after the big introduction so, of course, we had to ask what he and Willis had discussed, whether the seasoned action star imparted any wisdom to Gosling and so forth. “I can’t talk about it,” Gosling quipped. Sensing that the “Blue Valentine” star was holding back but secretly wanted to share some exciting tidbit with us, we pressed further, asking whether he was able to secure a part in “Die Hard 5” during their brief conversation. “No comment,” Gosling responded with a smile. Fair enough. We ceased our probing and instead asked Gosling if it was in fact the first time he’d ever met the veteran actor. “[That was the] first time I ever met Bruce Willis,” Gosling confirmed. “I know, it’s nice. I haven’t had time to process it because I’m trying to talk about him. I don’t know how I feel about it.” In spite of making introductions with numerous photographers and TV crews present, Gosling said he thought the exchange, though short, went well. “I do feel good [about it],” he said. “I wanted it to be more private. As evidenced by the packed patios at this weekend’s Golden Globe parties , cigarette smoking is alive and well in Hollywood — but, ironically, not in the films made by these pack-a-day producers and talent. Because it would be a crime for Tinsel Town to advocate a potentially deadly habit that they actively advocate in their down-time, right? Whatever. Let’s take a moment to remember a time when Hollywood was less hypocritical, cigarettes were a cool onscreen accessory (not just coffin nails) and actors made smoking an art.
