It’s exactly what many thought: the Warriors have more weapons, better defense and fewer injured players. Those three factors allowed Golden State to outlast the Cavaliers, 108-100, in…
Unlike the rest of the series, Game 4 of the Houston/Golden State series hasn’t been going the Warriors’ way. First, the Rockets burned Golden State with a…

A wise man once said, “I wish they all could be California girls,” and we couldn’t agree with that sentiment more. The Golden State is home to more than its fair share of golden goddesses, and we had an impossible time narrowing it down to just ten. These girls will keep you California dreamin’ for some time to come!
The terrible two take over the Staples Center. Last night, Rihanna and her ever-present BFF, Melissa Forde, were in the building for the L.A. Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game. Sitting courtside is fairly banal routine for the Bajan pop star, but on this particular night they were seen chanting, chatting, and cheerleading like life-long fans (Wonder if Robyn is lettin’ a purple-and-gold baller chop that). In addition to entertaining themselves, the ladies were also seated next to some interesting characters who were going through a variety of emotions during the game that make for some hilarious pics! Ever wanted to look like The Girl on Fire? Covergirl is giving you the chance. The company has announced a unique collaboration with Lionsgate in which it will market a Catching Fire -inspired brand of makeup. It will appropriately be called The Capitol Collection. It’s unclear just what products will be included in the cosmetics line or when it will hit stores, but a press release hypes this as “a first-of-its-kind creative advertising campaign inspired by the film.” And it’s safe to assume plenty more merchandising deals are to come before the blockbuster sequel is released on November 22. A pair of Golden State Warriors fans, on their way home from Oracle Arena after their team was eliminated from the NBA Playoffs, were killed in a shooting Thursday night. Christopher Beardon and Terrance Marks were headed home in a white Porsche Panamera when someone in a SUV pulled alongside their vehicle on Interstate 880 and opened fire with a semi-automatic. Beardon – who was behind the wheel – was killed by the gunfire; Marks was hit by an oncoming car after the Porsche hit a guardrail and he either fled or was ejected. He was also shot in the drive-by. Police are asking other fans in attendance for help and studying surveillance video in an attempt to narrow down the suspect list. They do not believe it was a random act of road rage.
The Golden State Warriors, 30-21 and holding the sixth seed in the Western Conference, will soon be embarking on a new fashion trend. The team announced yesterday that it would become the first squad in NBA history to don short sleeve jerseys during play, unveiling the look that Draymond Green and company will wear for a trio of upcoming home games. Provided by Adidas, the jerseys feature “the first-ever super lightweight stretch woven short with maximum ventilation for player comfort,” according to that company. The tops also include armhole insets with 360-degree stretch fabric that “facilitates free range of motion for the arms and shoulders.” Will this trend catch on in the NBA? Should it? What do you think of the short sleeve jerseys? Love em! Hate em! Can they shoot in those things?!?
