Selena Gomez left rehab just two weeks into a six-week program, according to a new report, failing to complete the course of treatment she checked in for. The 21-year-old ignored the advice of medical professionals and the strenuous objections of the rehab staff and walked out of there just 14 days in. Selena Gomez in Rehab: Why? In early January, Selena Gomez checked into rehab at The Meadows for what is believed to be problems with alcohol, pot and prescription Ambien. All of which can be traced back to her unhealthy relationship Justin Bieber, both in terms of her strained emotions and her exposure to his lifestyle. We only recently learned she sought treatment, though, and that’s largely due to the fact that Selena bailed so she could go the Sundance Film Festival. She was only in treatment for two weeks , and reportedly told her people she would return to the rehab facility after Sundance, only she didn’t do so. Gomez decided she was cured, apparently, and felt there was no reason to return. The Meadows doesn’t see eye-to-eye with her on that, though. The treatment program is 45 days for a reason, and with Selena bailing four weeks early, they don’t believe she has completed the therapy or recovered. Selena feels she completed the toughest week, the initial period which the facility calls “Survivor’s week” so everything is fine … the staff disagrees. Selena Gomez: Justin Bieber “Disgusting”! The Meadows, a facility that specializes in young adults struggling with trauma or addiction, may have a point, as she was “partying very hard” beforehand. Aside from staying out late, Gomez was into marijuana and pills, with friends and family members “increasingly worried that there might be a serious problem.” It just got to a point where she had to get away from the pressure of her career and those “who had become a bad influence on her,” an insider said. Sources close to Gomez say her camp went ballistic when they found out she was back together with Justin, and that she checked into rehab after that. The two reportedly got into a text message war (below) last month involving his wild ways, and his camp reportedly warned Justin to stay away from her . One person was killed and another was in custody after a shooting at Purdue University Tuesday, according to the Indiana school’s police chief, John Cox. The gunman reportedly walked into a room at the school’s electrical engineering department “with the intention of harming someone,” then walked out. After the shooting, he gave himself up to a West Lafayette, Ind., police officer. Purdue Shooting Cox and Purdue Provost Timothy Sands confirmed the fatality at a news conference hours after the incident led to an alert that shut down the campus. The alert was lifted two hours after the shooting, added Cox, who told reporters that the suspect appeared to have targeted the unidentified victim. Indiana Gov. Mike Pence said in a statement: “Today’s shooting at Purdue University is a tragedy, and our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of the victim and to everyone in the Purdue community.” “I commend the professionalism of the Purdue University Police Department in apprehending the suspect and bringing the situation to a swift conclusion.” “The Indiana State Police are on the scene and will continue to assist local law enforcement with the ongoing investigation,” Pence added. The incident began about noon local time with reports of shots being fired at the Electrical Engineering Building on the northeast side of campus. The university posted an alert on its website, but by 1:15 p.m., the school had canceled the alert, assuring the community that the area was secure.

In an unusual move, she was then joined there by her mother . Now, a day after Pebe Sebert said her daughter nearly died and blamed Ke$ha disorder on the harsh critiques of music producer Dr. Luke, a friend has spoken out on behalf of the artist. “This is Kesha’s friend,” someone wrote from the singer’s Twitter account. “She asked me to tweet an update for her because she doesn’t have access to twitter right now.” Added the pal: “She says ‘THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I’m overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I’ll be back soon and better than ever.’ “Ohhh and she can’t believe Timber is still number one! “Fck YEAH animals! Selena Gomez’s rep has denied the legitimacy of the bitter text exchange between the singer-actress and on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. The text messages, which leaked and went viral, appeared to show tensions escalating with Gomez and Bieber, who sent her derogatory messages. The 21-year-old’s rep, Jill Fritzo, issued a firm “not real” when the Daily Mail (UK) contacted her for her reaction to the alleged nude pics and vile slurs. Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez Texting War Radar Online published the Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez text messages , which they claim were exchanged after the duo had a bitter fight last week. The texts (posted below) were allegedly forwarded to one of the 21-year-old actress’ friends from a phone registered to her stepfather Brian Teefey. This was after police raided Bieber’s home and arrested one of his confidants, Lil Za , on drug charges. Selena (supposedly) told Justin to get helo. The 19-year-old Canadian singer and his on-off-girlfriend sparked reconciliation rumors last month when they started hanging out again, but it wasn’t to be. “I was honest with you and I gave you a second chance. All my friends were right,” she allegedly texted, before calling him a drug addict who needs help. “You need to listen to Scooter (Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager) and go to rehab. U r sick,” Gomez reportedly texted her ex, sending him into a rage. The website also reported that during the heated exchange between the two, the “Believe” singer also allegedly sent Gomez a nude picture of himself. Perhaps this explains why Justin Bieber is so chill these days, happy to hang out with friends and moon them when they sleep : No drugs were found inside his home after all last week. Earlier today, TMZ quoted sources who confirmed Los Angles County Sheriff’s Department deputies came across a ton of drug paraphernalia during their search of Bieber’s residence last Tuesday, an assertion it stands behind. But E! now says it has spoken to authorities and police did NOT find any codeine bottles, containers of drugs or marijuana in the mansion. They didn’t see what TMZ has labeled a “smoking room” for weed either. The Sheriff has shot down this chatter and said Bieber’s house was ” well kept and clean” and “didn’t smell or have an unusual odor.” The only drugs found on the premises belong to Lil Za, who was arrested at the scene and taken into custody. Cops insist that the goal of the search warrant was to find evidence that links Justin to an egg attack on his neighbor’s home a couple weeks ago. Along those lines, they confiscated security tapes and the artist’s cell phone. “The purpose of the search warrant is to seek video surveillance or other possible evidence in the vandalism that occurred on January 9, 2014,” the official report states. “The vandalism damage is estimated by the homeowner to be approximately $20,000.” Bieber could still be on the hook for a felony vandalism charge. And for acting like an idiot… no one knows why he peed his initials into the Colorado snow today.

Radar Online published the images documenting the supposed, bitter texting fight, in which Selena calls her ex “a drug addict” who needs to “go to rehab!” The messages, which Radar “verified” are real but Bieber’s camp says are not, were forwarded by a phone registered to Gomez’s stepfather, Brian Teefey.
