This summer has been a weird one for Amber Portwood. Mostly because she started it with a precious little family but then right on the ding dang Fourth of July, she ruined it all by assaulting boyfriend Andrew Glennon while he held their baby in his arms. Well, by “allegedly” assaulting him. Yep, Amber is speaking out about what happened now, and her version of events are pretty different than the one we heard from Andrew … 1. Here We Go What happened between Amber and Andrew … well, it wasn’t pretty, that’s for sure. 2. Memories And we know you’ve probably heard this story several times already, but just for the sake of painting a complete picture, let’s run through it one more time, OK? 3. That Fateful Night Things weren’t perfect between Amber and Andrew, but they were going all right up until the Fourth of July. Amber wanted to take baby James to see some fireworks, but there were some traffic issues that prevented them from going. 4. Oh And instead of planning a different route to go see those fireworks or finding another place to watch them, she just flipped the heck out. 5. The Assault Begins They got home, and according to Andrew, she started beating him with a shoe — Amber has admitted there was some shoe action, but she’s said it was really no big deal. 6. Jeremy Roloff and Audrey Roloff left Little People, Big World just over a year ago. But the couple has now made it more clear than ever before: They may soon be major players once again in the Little People, Big World universe . Confused? Let us explain… Audrey and Jeremy left this beloved TLC series in August of 2018 because they had simply grown sick of being followed around by cameras after so many years as program leads. They also wanted to pursue other business opportunities, which the husband and wife have done with great success over the past several months. They host a popular podcast… they wrote a best-selling memoir… they still run the company Beating 50 Percent. Of late, however, Jeremy has hinted that he’d be interested in owning a farm someday. And not just any farm, either — but Roloff Farms! In late July, after Matt Roloff made it pretty clear that he’s ready to move on and retire to Arizona with girlfriend Caryn Chandler, Jeremy wrote that he has “ideas and dreams for (hopefully) Roloff farms.” Asked by a follower why he hasn’t just gone ahead and purchased the property from his parents, Jeremy pointed to the cost . On a second occasion this summer, Jeremy emphasized that the farm so often featured on Little People, Big World would be “very expensive” to buy. This may be true — but whether it’s because his parents could give him a deal or because Jeremy thinks he’ll be able to afford the farm someday, he very recently implied that running Roloff Farms is a strong possibility for him and Audrey down the line. First, consider the caption Jeremy wrote alongside the following image of himself and his daughter, after they visited some friends: Did I mention that Ember loved our trip to @fivemarysfarms Haha. If you didn’t know, they have the best meat ever and they ship their meat nationwide! Give it a try you won’t regret it. There’s something about the farm/ranch life that touches me deep down. I love it. This trip and watching Ember play definitely reawakened us to a yearning & burning we have for land. We’ve always wanted property, but it obviously takes more than want to achieve something. It feels like time to make decisions and a game plan. Make decisions? Come up with a game plan?!? Jeremy is obviously referencing a possible farm purchase here… which is why a follower responded to his post by asking: “Is the family farm not an option? I always assumed you and Zach would take over from your parents.” To this inquiry, Jeremy answered: “It totally is an option!” So there we have it! So exciting, right?!? For those unaware, Amy Roloff sold a portion of the farm to her ex-husband, Matt, a few months ago. She’s in the process of looking for a home off the property, but she still has some control over the farm. Some TV exits are more shocking than others. There are several reasons for that, but some of them just come so out of the blue that it seems there is more to the story than meets the eye. Have a look below at the 13 most shocking TV exits! 1. Nina Dobrev – The Vampire Diaries Two vampires were fighting for Elena Gilbert’s heart on The Vampire Diaries. The producers had to get creative when Dobrev announced her departure at the close of Season 6. “I don’t want to play a teenager anymore. I want to play adult roles and be challenged and work with great filmmakers and tell incredible stories and that has meant being really picky,” she later revealed to Harper’s Bazaar. Dobrev did return two years later for the series finale. 2. Ruth Wilson – The Affair Wilson played Alison on this Showtime drama. During Season 4, however, the character was murdered. Showrunner Sarah Treem later said that Wilson asked to exit the series, but Wilson countered by saying that she was not allowed to talk about why she decided to exit. Still, fans were stunned at the loss of someone who was such an integral part of the story. 3. Nicollette Sheridan – Desperate Housewives Sheridan departed Desperate Housewives under the most shocking of circumstances: Her character was killed off in a freak accident. Behind the scenes, however, it emerged that she had a falling out with series creator Marc Cherry and it was reported that he slapped her. 4. Emmy Rossum – Shameless Rossum played Fiona, the central character and glue that held all of the other characters together. However, the actress announced her departure ahead of the ninth season finale. But the show is in a bit of an uncertain place as it gears up to launch its first season without its leading lady. 5. Kim Dickens – Fear the Walking Dead Fans were up in arms when it was revealed that Kim’s character, Madison was dead. It was not a mutual decision between the actress and the new showrunners, however. “Obviously it was shocking to me and it was disappointing. It was heartbreaking,” Dickens told Entertainment Weekly about finding out her time on the show was coming to an end. 6. … and, just like that, Britney Spears’ new hair color doesn’t seem like a very big deal any longer. Not after multiple outlets have confirmed Kevin Federline recently accused his former father-in-law of child abuse. The former professional dancer — who was married to Spears for two years and who shares kids Sean Federline, 13, and Jayden James Federline, 12 — with the global superstar, has filed an official police report against Jaime Spears. In documents obtained by The Blast, it has been reported that Kevin filed said report on August 25, the day after an alleged physical altercation between Jamie and his and Britney’s oldest son, Sean. This incident supposedly went down at Jamie’s home in Ventura County while he was watching his grandkids. According to TMZ insiders, an altercation between Jamie and Sean turned physical at one point… with Mr. Spears putting his hands on his grandson in violent fashion. It was not by accident, either, these same insiders explain. TMZ writes that Jamie broke down a door to get to his grandson and grabbed him once he was in the room. It’s unclear at this time exactly what precipated to confrontation — not that it matters, of course. The action described above is wildly inappropriate and likely illegal, if the report is true. Sources close to the investigation tell TMZ that there were no visible bruises or injuries to the 13-year old. Nevertheless, this incident was severe enough to Federline that he reported it the next to day to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. While we await further details, we can at least report investigators have already interviewed witnesses and turned over their findings to the District Attorney’s Office. The district attorney is the person who will now determine if there’s enough evidence against Jamie Spears to file charges. Spears and Federline stunned the world when they exchanged vows in 2004; they took fans by less surprise in 2006 when they filed for divorce. This police report filing comes just days after Federline and Spears formalized a custody agreement in which Kevin will have custody of their two sons 70 percent of the time. This has been the general arrangement for about a year, but it is now legal. Prior to this set-up, Kevin and Britney — who have been on very solid terms for many years — shared custody of their kids equally. UPDATE : As you could have guessed, this alleged altercation between Jamie and Sean took place during Britney’s allotted time with the children. We cannot say for certain where she was at the time, but she allegedly took Sean and Jayden away from their grandfather at one point and brought them back to her home. Federline was called later to pick them up and the boys stayed the evening of August 24 with their father. If Jamie is charged, the crime will more than likely be considered a misdemeanor. Jamie has served as the conservator of his daughter’s estate for nearly a decade. He has often had a turbulent relationship with Federline, especially of late. Earlier this year, Jamie and Kevin went at it in court over an increase in child support for the former DJ as he took over the majority of custody while Britney dealt with mental health issues. Tamra Judge has a few things to say about Bethenny Frankel’s recent announcement. The long-time Real Housewives of New York City cast member confirmed two weeks ago that she’s leaving the franchise which made her famous, prompting Judge to react in a way that can be summed up as follows: LOLOLOLOL! With Season 12 of this beloved series nearing production, Frankel told Variety in late August that she was finished with the program in part, she explained, because she wanted to spend more time with daughter Bryn. Here is a portion of Bethenny’s statement on the topic: I have decided to leave the Housewives’franchise to explore my next chapter. It’s time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women. With the changes in modern culture, I want to highlight the strength, confidence and unstoppable power that women have….I am excited for my future. The best is yet to come. Seems simple and straightforward enough, right? Nope, not according to Judge. In an interview with E!’s The Daily Pop, Judges scoffed at the notion that any star walks away from these Bravo shows for reasons having to do with their families. We’ll let her explain why. “I hate when a housewife either gets fired or says she quits… When they go on record [and] say, ‘I just need to spend time with my kids,’” Judge told the E! show, adding: “[I’m] just like, ‘Really? Because you weren’t spending time because we work three hours a day?’” We gotta admit: that’s a rather great burn and self-own. One must appreciate it any time a reality star admits that he or she barely really works. The Real Housewives of Orange County star didn’t merely trash Bethenny, either. She went on to broadly cite all Housewives who have walked away under the guise of “spending quality time with children” or who have alleged that “the drama is just too much for me” or “I can’t stand the toxic environment.” Judge thinks all these excuses are total and complete BS. According E! host Carissa Culiner, Tamra went on to clarify during the interview that she “just hate[s] it when people aren’t honest about the way they’re leaving the show.” It sounds to us like Judge believes women only leave these shows due to contractual disputes. And sources have actually indicated that Bethenny did want more money from producers for Season 12. She allegedly had a salary figure in mind… executives didn’t meet it… and she then left, with her head held high and many other opportunities available for her to succeed elsewhere. Is this really all that different from what Frankel said in her departure statement? No. But would The Real Housewives be a hit if stars didn’t slam each other at every opporunity? Also no. Britney Spears has had a busy year, and none of it has had to do with her music. Her 30-day stint in a mental wellness facility left fans with unanswered questions, and now Britney’s court case is drawing more and more attention. Maybe she decided it was time for a change — because her new look is unrecognizable. An Instagram account by the name of Britney Spears 2000s has shared a snap of Britney Spears that has fans going wild. The sneak snapshot (really, it looks like someone took the photo while pretending to text, right?) shows the legendary singer out in public. But there’s something majorly different about the unparalleled superstar’s appearance. She has been blonde for years and years — to the point where it’s part of how people identify and portray her. Now, she’s gone full brunette and the difference is dramatic. See for yourself: As you can see, the woman strongly believed to be Britney is seated in a restaurant. She is wearing a pair of dark sunglasses along with a white blouse. Now, it is possible — given the glasses — that she is doing her best to obfuscate her appearance to avoid being ambushed by fans. (If you see your favorite celeb clearly not wanting to be recognized, be cool. Say “hi” or whatever as you walk past but keep walking, buddy ) If so, her brunette hair may be a tasteful wig designed to make people less likely to recognize her. On the other hand, let’s talk about Britney’s hair and the major symbolic role that it has played in her life. Famously, Britney once shaved her head. It was intensely dramatic and many people thought that it marked the end of her career. The truth is much more complicated. Britney would later explain that every time that she left, even to buy groceries, her team would insist upon fixing her hair to be picture-perfect. (Which makes sense, as reports say that they were also guaranteeing that TMZ would be there to photograph Britney, no matter how mundane her activities.) In order to reclaim a measure of independence and control over her own body, Britney shaved her head herself. It marked her freedom. Why is this valuable history lesson relevant to her going brunette, possibly with just an Alias wig? Because Britney is currently battling her own father in court as she petitions for greater freedoms. Jamie Spears has wielded his conservatorship over Britney — a conservatorship that was originally supposed to last only a weekend — for 11 long years. Earlier this year, even Britney’s mom, Lynn, took an interest in checking if Jamie is really deciding what’s best for their daughter. Britney is an adult woman and a first-rate mom who can make her own choices in life. So, has Britney altered her hair in a symbolic push for independence from her controlling father who micromanages all of her affairs? It’s certainly possible. She’s gone “dark” before, such as during the Blackout era. (If you measure moments in your adult life by silly things like “years” or “life milestones” instead of Britney eras, don’t even talk to me) That would be a much less drastic but still fairly obvious deviation from the image that so many people have constructed of her. But, for the moment, Britney hasn’t uploaded any photos or videos with brown hair. Nor have there been confirmed sightings of her as a brunette. In order for viewers to tune into a TV show, there has to be drama. These 13 shows courted controversy throughout their time on the air. Some of the scandals resulted in the shows getting canceled, while some of the shows are still on the air. Have a look below. 1. Teen Mom The Teen Mom franchise has been a ratings winner for MTV. The show has stirred up much controversy over the years. From Jenelle Evans’ multiple arrests to some things we’d rather not speak about from Farrah Abraham’s life, the series has beaten the odds. The moms at the helm of the series seem to court controversy wherever they go. Maybe it just comes with the territory. 2. Buckwild Reality TV is more successful for MTV than anything else. Buckwild was like a mashup of Jersey Shore and Jackass. Some of the content was a cause for concern and there was much viewer backlash. A second season was ordered, but cast members started getting in trouble with the law. Things took a harrowing turn when cast member, Shain Gandee, tragically died of carbon monoxide poisoning. MTV ultimately pulled the plug while filming the second season. 3. Toddlers & Tiaras The world has mixed feelings about beauty pageants, so you can imagine the backlash when TLC launched Toddlers & Tiaras — a show that pretty much exploited young children. The most controversial moment, however, involved one young girl dressing up as Julia Roberts’ prostitute character from Pretty Woman. 4. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo This is a spin-off of Toddlers & Tiaras, and let’s just say it was filled with just as much controversy. The series was canceled when Mama June reportedly rekindled her relationship with the sex offender who allegedly molested her daughter. 5. 19 Kids & Counting The Duggar clan have been around for years, and it quickly became clear that they were hiding many secrets behind closed doors. TLC canceled the series after reports emerged, claiming that Josh Duggar molested a number of young women, including his own sisters. 6. Boy Meets Boy This series could have been a Bachelor for same-sex couples, but it was one of the most irresponsible series on the air. It focused on a man looking for love and eliminating the men who he did not feel a connection with. However, the producers thought it would be a good idea to have straight men in the mix. Instead, Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell actually had a chance to sit down with their first child's adoptive parents for an unusual on-ait interview. It had been a full decade since Brandon and Theresa appeared at a reunion show. What did the quartet discuss? How did this literally staged reunion go? Scroll down to find out! 1. What’s the Backstory Here? Way back when we first met Tyler and Catelynn on 16 and Pregnant, they talked about how the latter got pregnant, butt hey didn’t think they were prepared to be parents. 2. Yes, here and there. They even introduced daughter Nova to Carly several weeks ago for the first time. 5. How Did That Go? Cameras were not permitted to film this special meeting, but Tyler did speak on air to Catelynn about it. 6. Donald Trump’s relationship with his children has been a subject of intense scrutiny for several years now. As far as we can tell, the family dynamic breaks down like this: Ivanka is the obvious favorite, and in a more permissive time and place, she would likely wind up replacing her father’s mysteriously-slain wife in an ill-defined role, after Milania was snuffed out in a nefarious plot straight out of Shakespeare or George R.R. Martin. Don Jr., of course, is his father’s right-hand man and future fall guy, and as much as the sight of his shaved ferret visage might cause your lunch to rise in the back of your throat, the thought of him still defending his dad in his third or fourth year of sporting a county orange jumpsuit should give you a chuckle. Eric — what can we say about Eric that hasn’t already been said about Lenny in Of Mice and Men ? He might mean well, but he should not be trusted around children or small animals. Barron is just trying to maintain, and we very much look his Mommie Dearest -esque memoir about his years in the White House. And then there’s Tiffany — the most mysterious of the Trump children. For the most part, Tiff managed to keep a low profile during the years in which her father transitioned from harmless reality TV punchline to dangerous demagogue punchline. Prior to that transformation, Tiffany tried to make it as a singer , but she was held back by uncertainty within the music industry and the fact that she’s utterly lacking in anything resembling talent. In the year’s since her father rode a wave of white supremacist furor — sorry, “economic anxiety” — to the White House, Tiffany has been embroiled in the occasional mini-scandal here and there, but it’s usually just the usual gross nonsense we’ve come to expect from her dad, such as the time video emerged of Donald discussing Tiffany’s future breasts when she was a baby. (Again, the remnants of your most recent sandwich burbling up to your uvula is the appropriate response here.) It’s great for Tiff that she’s been able to distance herself from her sundowning dad, but the reason he’s allowed her to do so is undeniably sad. By all accounts, Donald simply doesn’t like Tiffany . The nature of their tempestuous relationship was essentially confirmed this week when a White House assistant named Madeline Westerhout made some off the record comments about Tiffany at a New Jersey golf club while in the company of reporters. “She had a couple drinks and in an uncharacteristically unguarded moment, she opened up to the reporters,” one insider told Politico. Specifically, Westerhout claimed that the president does not like to be photographed with Tiffany due to the fact that he considers her overweight. Westerhout was promptly fired for her comments, and Trump refuted the claim while speaking with reporters over Labor Day weekend. “I love Tiffany,” the president said, adding that she’s “great person,” which might be the most half-assed fatherly sentiment in history. Donald added that Westerhout’s comments are “absolutely false” and “hurtful.” “While Madeleine Westerhout has a fully enforceable confidentiality agreement, she is a very good person and I don’t think there would ever be reason to use it,” he later tweeted. “She called me yesterday to apologize, had a bad night. I fully understood and forgave her! I love Tiffany, doing great!” You know he had to cut himself off before adding: “I’m a very Forgiving President, folks. Amber Portwood has spoken out for the first time since her arrest for domestic assault on July 5. Like, truly for the first time, we mean. Yes, the troubled Teen Mom OG star has shared the occasional cryptic social media post . But she hasn't directly addressed what went down between her and Andrew Glennon (and their young son, James) during an incident that led to her being charged with THREE felonies. Most specifically, she hasn't directly addressed the accusation that she attacked Glennon and James with a machete… … until now. As part of a Teen Mom reunion special that aired on September 3, Amber spoke to Dr. Drew Pinsky about this arrest and this allegation. Here is what she said: 1. Let’s Go Over the Arrest Again, Shall We? Glennon texted 911 early on the morning of July 5 and told the operator that he thought Portwood really might kill him or little James, who was around 14 months old at the time. 2. Portwood Was Then Arrested The reality TV star was subsequently charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, per court documents obtained various outlets. 3. What Did She Do? This is the main question, right? Amber has admitted to throwing a shoe at Glennon, but told the police that it barely grazed him. 4. Did She Threaten Suicide? Yes, Glennon has said. He told authorities that Amber actually swallowed a number of Klonopin pills, only to later throw them back up. 5. Amber Has Denied This Claim Not personally. We haven’t heard her say it. But sources have indicated that Portwood denies the suicide/pill allegation. 6. Okay. Now Let’s Discuss the Machete.
