Andrew Glennon has been through A LOT with Amber Portwood. The reality stars have a baby son together, of course, which means they are bonded for life and have already been through the ups, downs and challenges of newborn parenthood. But Portwood also says she came close to hanging herself last summer, only for Glennon to recognize something was the matter with his wife and refuse to leave her side. Since then, Amber has continued to battle her mental health problems, while Andrew has remained by her side. However, everything came to a violent head for the twosome on the morning of July 5… when Amber was arrested for felony domestic violence after allegedly attacking Glennon with a shoe. More Than Just Threatening, Actually Glennon says Portwood swallowed a bunch of Klonopin pills, only to then throw them back up before it was too late. 4. Glennon Proceeded to Text 911 He told authorities that he feared for both his life and the life of his child. 5. This Wasn’t All, Though Glennon alleges that he locked himself and James in the bathroom, only for Amber to use an actual machete in her attempt to break down the door. 6. Tragic news out of the world of reality television: Lee Rosbach, a caption on the popular series Below Deck, revealed on Monday that his son, Joshua, died on July 22 from an accidental drug overdose. He was 42 years old. There was a funeral held a couple days ago for Joshua, who battled addiction for two decades, according to his famous father. “This past Saturday, my beloved wife Mary Anne and I laid our youngest son, Joshua Lee Rosbach to rest,” Lee wrote on Instagram this afternoon as a caption to the above photo of Joshua. “After a twenty year struggle, he finally succumbed to the demons he fought so long and so hard. “Addiction is an insidious disease that knows no social status or geographic boundaries.” Continued the Below Deck star: “Whether you live in a 10,000 sq. ft. mansion or a double wide trailer, the path of death, destruction and devastation it leaves remains the same. “We loved Josh unconditionally and were proud of the man he had become in spite of his problems. There was no one i ever knew who gave more of himself to those in his life. “He loved with all his being without expecting anything in return. We both feel a hole in our souls that will never be filled.” According to a tribute posted on Dignity Memorial, the 42-year-old died on July 22 “in the comfort of his home.” Not much else is known about what transpired, but this same post continued as follows: “At the time of his passing he was in the hearts and minds of those he loved the most. “A gentle and kind soul, Josh was loved by everyone he came into contact with and never met a stranger. His smile, and although quiet personality were traits that people admired. “But the simple things in life were exciting too, especially when he worked hard to buy his first home where he enjoyed spending quality time with his ‘Fur ever buddy and protector’ Champ. “Josh followed his father’s love for the ocean, whether it was sail boating or First Mate aboard a Yacht. “As a son, he was everything to his father and mother. He was a good brother and he loved the precious times they spent together.” Lee Rosbach was born in Saginaw, Michigan and has been in the yachting industry for 20 years. He released a memoir last winter and currently stars on the Bravo program Below Deck. Lee concluded the tribute to his son as follows: So my message to those of you who are fighting this disease, find a way to get help no matter what. For those of you who have a friend, family member, son, or daughter who’s struggling, do what ever it takes to get them the help they need. Be kind and loving, and try to enjoy every second you have with them. Do not pray for our son, but please take care of your children and friends who may need it, as it isn’t too late for them. Meghan Markle can’t catch a break when it comes to the British press. Time and time again they choose to knock down the Duchess of Sussex, but they should be celebrating her! Especially today… because she just announced something extremely monumental. Maybe to some its no biggie, but trust us — it is! Meghan just made history by not only being the first member of the Royal family to ever guest-edit fashion bible British Vogu e but for being the first person to ever help edit the September issue. The September issue is known for being the most significant due to its fall/winter fashion previews. However, Meghan stayed true to her character and utilized the issue for more than just its fashion-forward conversations and took the chance to discuss something a bit more meaningful, titling the issue “Forces for Change”. And instead of taking the once in a lifetime opportunity to cover the magazine herself, she gave up the spot to 15 “brilliant female changemakers.” She insisted that she didn’t want to be the center of attention, she wanted the spotlight to be on “the women she admires,” explained British Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful. Her only strict request was that photographer Peter Lindbergh not edit out the freckles in the photos, because one of Meghan’s biggest pet peeves is when photographers cover up her freckles. Enninful completely agreed, saying it would allow us to see “beauty in real people, in real situations.” In the issue, the former actress interviewed former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama, who shared her motherly advice over chicken tacos, while Prince Harry spoke with chimpanzee and wildlife expert Dr. Jane Goodall. The Duchess spent seven whole months working in secret, as explained on the Duke and Duchess’ official joint Instagram account, to “create an issue of inclusivity and inspiration, focusing on what connects us rather than what divides us.” The collaged cover features 15 women: Women’s rights advocate Salma Hayek Pinault, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, LGBTQIA+ advocate Laverne Cox, youth voting activist Yara Shahidi, and climate activist Greta Thunberg among others. But one spot on the cover was left blank, which was done so that readers could use it as a mirror and reflect their faces onto the cover. How cute is that?! Well, a lot of grumpy people weren’t here for it. One Twitter user wrote, “Why isn’t HM The Queen included on the cover of September’s Vogue, @RoyalFamily?” “Her Majesty is the perfect role model: like many of us she had no choice but to do the job she was given.” Another upset user chimed in with a similar opinion, calling the cover “pathetic.” Others wondered why Meghan didn’t include a doctor, nurse, teacher, lawyer, etc. But the major problem to critics was that she skipped out on meeting with President Donald Trump during his recent visit due to her maternity leave but was willing to devote her time to the magazine and interviews with the former First Lady. Well, yeah. Piers Morgan, of course, had something to say about the Duchess, claiming she is “being about as political as any royal has ever been” and “being a royal means you stay out of politics.” He also took issue with Meghan’s choice of “radical, liberal” Vogue cover stars and how she excluded “the planet’s entire male population.” But despite all of her ( obviously bored) haters, Meghan is her own person and was politically active long before marrying a prince , and if her Vogue collaboration hasn’t proved to you where her personal interests lie — then off with your head! Some call it skill, some call it bad parenting. But either way, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi doesn’t care what “some” call her behavior, she’s just trying to share some of her favorite “mom life” moments with her fans. On Sunday, Snooki shared a photo to Instagram of her downing a glass of red wine while feeding her nearly 2-month-old son Angelo James LaValle. It’s called balance. “What’s mom life like with 2 kids and a newborn? THIS,” said the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star. She also added the hashtags “mom juice” and “I’m a good Mom I swear.” Luckily, most of her fans had a sense of humor and not a stick up their butt. “You deserve this! Moms need some time to relax!” wrote one user. Snooki also received some love from her Jersey Shore fam too, of course! BFF and co-star Jwoww commented with multiple praising hand emojis, while The Situation’s wife Lauren Sorrentino added: “This is skill!” Even Jessie James Decker chimed in, saying “I’m feelin’ this one!” But of course, there’s always that one user who just has to be a buzzkill. In response to one commenter who expressed their (unwanted) concern that Polizzi was drinking alcohol while breastfeeding her son, the reality star quickly clapped back. “I allow myself to have a few glasses once a week to stay sane with 3 kids,” she wrote. “I do what’s necessary to clean my milk for my baby. Let a mawma live.” Oh, and the troll wasn’t a mother or even old enough to actually consume wine. “Keep being 17,” Snooki added at the end. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , the safest option is to not drink alcohol while breastfeeding, but having one drink per day likely won’t harm the baby. We’re sure the reality star knows what’s up because she has already gone through the breastfeeding process with kids Giovanna, 4 and Lorenzo, 6, who she shares with husband Jionni LaValle . During a recent interview on the Women on Top podcast, Snooki opened up on what it’s like raising her children in the spotlight and how she has had to deal with her fair share of mom-shamers in the past. “I always question myself about how much I should share about my kids,” she admitted. “Because it’s going to be in the public eye and everyone’s going to know.” “And I ended up stopping for a little bit just because people on the internet are assholes and everyone is a mom shamer.” “Everyone can do things better than you,” she said, adding that their criticism was too hard to hear, so she stopped posting. “They just give you this unwanted advice that I just couldn’t stand, so I stopped sharing the kids.” However, once she realized she didn’t have to take parental advice from strangers`she quickly began posting again. “I want my babies to always be protected and in this little bubble, but at the same time, they are just such amazing little creatures and I want to share them,” she said. Gary Shirley has gone from victim … to the voice of reason. Although there are clearly a whole bunch of social media users out there who disagree with this analysis. The ex-boyfriend of Amber Portwood has been in the news again these days because this Teen Mom OG cast member was arrested back on July 5 for domestic violence. She’s accused of attacking current boyfriend Andrew Glennon with a shoe and then even with a machete; both times when he was holding the couple’s 14-month old son, James. This is the same crime for which Amber was also arrested back in 2011 after she allegedly assaulted Shirley. Amber ended up going to jail for 17 months after violating her probation from this case because she was caught with precscription pills. Despite this very contentious history, Amber and Gary actually get along very well these days. Just how well? So well that Shirley attended Portwood’s July 25 court hearing during which she was awarded supervised visits with her young son. He’s also Tweeted support for Amber on multiple occasions, most recently this very Monday morning when Shirley wrote the following: All I could ask is for is @AmberLPortwood to be happy & healthy. She has all of my support when #TeenMomOG continues this Monday with a new episode at 9/8c on @MTV! #WATCH #WATCH #Watch!!!! Portwood and Shirley are the parents of a 10-year old named Leah, with the latter having primary custody of this little girl. And while we understand and even applaud Gary a little bit for standing up for the mother of his child … we also understand those who are now criticizing Shirley for taking this stance. Especially when it seems like he’s using Amber’s alleged assault as a way to promote tonight’s new episode of Teen Mom OG. “All I ask if they amber learns a lesson,” responded one user, adding in her Shirley clap back: “Takes personal responsibility for what happens, mtv fires her because this is the 2nd documented time she’s been accused of DV, and people stop defending her. I think what her cast members did is disgusting and they need to be called out!” Added another critic: This tweet is all kinds of Yikes! Using Ambers current psychosis and domestic violence charges as a way to promote tonight’s episode is the exact reason this show needs to be canceled or completely recast. All of Amber’s Teen Mom co-stars actually showed up at her hearing last week, while MTV cameras were on hand to document the proceedings. It certainly does come across a little bit icky and gross that the network would go so far out of its way to film this hearing, considering filming is NOT actually underway at the moment. It’s the off-season, meaning producers treated this as an emergent reason to get everyone together and shoot scenes for the upcoming season. Which we guess it was, right? It’s not everyday that a cast member gets hauled off to court, not since Jenelle Evans was fired at least. We’re also not saying it’s necessarily wrong to support Portwood in a broad sense, but those doing so ought to ask themselves: Would they ever show public support for a man accused of assaulting a woman? Wendy Williams is no stranger to body-shaming from has-been rappers. Weeks ago, 50 Cent shared his lame opinion about her skinny legs . Now, it’s Bow Wow’s turn as he mocks her entire body. Wendy hasn’t even had to clap back herself — Bow Wow’s own fans are putting him in his place. Bow Wow found a generally flattering photo of Wendy Williams in a bikini and posted it to social media. “They say its a hot girl summer,” he wrote shadily — implying that Wendy is nothing of the sort. In case anyone thought that he was paying a sincere compliment, Bow Wow’s emojis left no doubt. His first emoji showed a face laughing to the point of tears. The second emoji showed a caution symbol. The third emoji showed a face wearing a mask, as if to keep out illness or allergens. The fourth showed a face green with nausea. Followers were quick to clap back at the needlessly cruel shade. “If his 1/10 self doesn’t stop…Wendy is living unapologetically and doing HER,” replied one concerned follower. “She’s freshly out of turmoil,” the comment continued. “And you can tell that it’s been rough on her.” “But she’s HERE!” the comment concluded. “He should do the same.” That’s a fair and passionate defense. “When it’s short boy summer we’ll ask for your opinion,” dismissed another comment. Bow Wow is only 5-foot-7. But hey, we were all 5-foot-7 at some point, even if for some of us, it was in middle school. “If putting down a older sick woman makes you feel good,” accused another follower. “It says more about you than her.” “Let shade him for that bald spot he got,” suggested another. Another pointed out that Bow Wow should be a better role model for 8-year-old daughter Shai Moss. “You literally have a daughter…body shaming aint the move,” suggested a fan. So why did Bow Wow decide to pick a fight with Wendy in the first place? (We know that general misogyny rarely needs an excuse, but clearly this was not entirely random) During a recent club appearance, Bow Wow referred to his ex-girlfriend, Ciara. In addition to calling her a “b–ch” to the entire room, he boasted about “having her ‘first.'” Wendy may not exactly be a champion of women everywhere, but she laid into Bow Wow over that. “But to be shirtless in a club and calling her a b–ch … you are so wrong for that,” she excoriated the 32-year-old rapper. Even many years after a breakup, he owes Ciara more respect than that. Clearly, Bow Wow did not enjoy being told what he can or cannot say about his ex. But even before that, Wendy had already gotten the upper hand. Citing an older photo of Bow Wow and Ciara, she pointed out that her staff had noticed him standing on his toes to look taller. Even then, he was still noticeably shorter than his then-girlfriend in her heels. Now, maybe Bow Wow was fair to take a shot at Wendy’s body since she pointed out his height first. But … she really just pointed out his height insecurity. She laughed because he was standing on his toes, not because he is short. This Is Us Season 3 concluded with an elderly Rebecca in a bad way. She was not recognizing her son, Randall, leading to concerns from fans that she was about to die. “Possibly this is someone near the end of their life experiencing a lack of awareness and confusion that comes with extreme old age,” showrunner, Elizabeth Berger tells Glamour. 2. Rebecca Is Probably About to Die The beauty of This Is Us spanning decades is that even if Rebecca dies in the future, Mandy Moore will remain part of the series. “I think it definitely feels like Rebecca is very near the end of her life and that her passing is imminent, and that’s why everyone has decided to descend upon Kevin’s house,” showrunner Isaac Aptaker said. 3. Nicky Changes His Ways Nicky’s life was all over the place during the show’s third season. The family tried to help him get sober to give him the best quality of life. Things took a turn when it was revealed that he had changed int he future and was right by Rebecca’s side. “We’re seeing a guy in a better place than when we last left him,” Aptaker says. “The fact that he aged really well shows he’s in a much better place mentally and physically than when we left him in that trailer.” 4. Miguel is MIA (For Now) Miguel was ominously missing from the flash-forward, but don’t expect his fate to be revealed during This Is Us Season 4. His fate will not be revealed until This Is Us Season 5 or 6. Yikes. 5. Melanie Liburd as Kim – This Is Us It was reported following the third season finale that Melanie Liburd was bowing out as a series regular, but her storyline is not over. “We love writing for her, so we’re always going to be looking for ways to bring her back into the story and into the fold,” Aptaker says. “But we will not be watching week-to-week storylines between her and Kevin next year.” That makes sense given that she and Kevin broke up. 6. Is Kate Dead or Alive? Kate’s fate has been the topic of many conversations among fans, but we may be waiting a while for answers. “I think it’s wide open at this point what has become of Kate,” Berger says. “I can’t promise next season,” Aptaker says. “But we know that in terms of the rank of people’s burning questions, that one is probably working its way up there. It’s been awhile since we wrote about Meghan Markle’s selfish and deranged family. But you can rest assured, if you were sitting over there with some doubts, that most of these relatives remain selfish and deranged. Late last week, Thomas Markle Jr. — the half-brother of the Duchess of Sussex who shares a father with Prince Harry’s one and only squeeze — said in a new interview that Queen Elizabeth should step in, step up and help heal the family’s bitter rift. “The queen should step in and tell Meghan to make amends with her father and family,” Markle Jr. has now said to The Sunday Mirror, using his half-sister’s brand new son against her in an attempted guilt-trip. “Now you’re a mother,” he added, addressing Meghan and continuing as follows: “I hope you’re grown up and mature enough to figure out family is very important.” Meghan, of course, has long had an estranged relationship with her father, who has spent years living as a recluse in Mexico. The two have not talked since Thomas Markle refused to attend the Royal Wedding in May of 2018, citing both health concerns and embarrassment over a paparazzi photo scandal in which he had paid photographs to snap so-called candid picture of him. Meghan’s dad has since trashedh is daughter to the press as disloyal and cruel. His daughter, Samantha Markle, has been even meaner to her half-sister on numerous occasions. She even tore into Meghan after her son was born . Thomas Markle Jr. has slammed his Royal Relative less frequently that his father and sister, but did his best in this Sunday Mirror interview to make up for his recent silence. He said that if Queen Elizabeth won’t get involved in this mess than Prince Charles “should step in and say, ‘Something’s not right.’ “They should force her into this, or it’s just going to continue to cause problems in her life.” That’s one way of looking at it, we guess. Another way would be to say that Meghan’s life is downright awesome and these family members are just angry and jealous. “Personally, I feel I don’t know this Meghan anymore,” continued Thomas, who was never close to his famous relative to begin with. “My father doesn’t know this Meghan anymore. This is a different Meghan than we all grew up with. It’s very, very strange,” he added. Maybe she’s seen the light? Maybe she’s surrounded herself with kind people who treat her with respect and she doesn’t feel a need to acknowledge these terrible people from her past? Maybe she was never remotely tight to any of them anyway and they’re just milking her fame for every ounce of attention they can get? Either way, Meghan is even friends now with Kate Middleton and doesn’t seem too disturbed by the occasional outburts of those who share her last name. “Some day I hope you’re smart enough and mature enough to open up and let your family into your life, and baby Archie’s life,” concluded Markle Jr., who was arrested in Oregon for DUI this year. “Most of all I hope you can call your father and let him be at least a part of yours and Archie’s life. For months and months, Jay Smith has been insinuating that he’s not the only villain in his marriage. Ashley and Jay are divorcing after his (latest) adultery, but did Ashley “do something” to him? At the Tell All special, Jay finally aired his accusations. Fans were teased ahead of the airing of part two of the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 4 Tell all. With the promise that Jay would finally be giving a voice to his claims about Ashley, fans wondered what he might be planning to say. “Grab a Snickers …” Ashley told her followers. “If I did something so bad,” she wrote. “He wouldn’t have said he wanted another chance on last week’s episode.” That’s a very fair point. This Tell All special featured the most guests we’ve ever seen. Guests included family members, a baby, Larissa’s boyfriend, and of course, Jay’s friends. Michael and Kendall — the guys from the barbershop — teleconferenced in. They explained the outrage over Jay disrespecting the place of business with his bathroom hookup. They also said that Jay was simply too immature to be monogamous. Wow. It was their appearance on the show that infuriated Jay … and prompted him to walk off. Of course, producers and a camera followed him down the cooridor. Eventually, they sat him down and let him say his piece. “Kendall messaged Ashley behind my back,” Jay claims to the camera. “And,” he continues. “I confronted him about it.” Eventually, the producers managed to herd Jay back onto the stage. Ashley describes how she says that Jay spoke to her after being caught cheating. “He looked at me right in my face and said: ‘Why can’t you just leave me alone and let me be happy? She’s my age,'” Ashley recalls. Jay seemed to insist that this was not the case. Then, Jay leveled an accusation of his own at Ashley. Jay then accuses Ashley of having messaged multiple exes right in front of him. Ashley claims that she did nothing of the sort until they were already separated. Then Jay comes out with his big accusation. He claims that she was messaging one ex, and that he knows this because he searched her phone. “You guys are ridiculous,” Ashley announces. “I’m done with today” This is when she gets up and walks off of the set, asking producers to remove her mic. Now, obviously, if it’s true that Ashley was messaging an ex, that sounds like a problem. In the context of someone whose husband is repeatedly cheating on her, though, it’s understandable. This is especially true when you take into consideration the allegations of abuse during their marriage. Regardless of whom you believe, it is even more clear now than before that Ashley and Jay’s marriage was doomed. It was a toxic relationship. Control issues, cheating, and alleged violence should not be a part of any marriage. It is a relief that they are no longer in a relationship. Some people should never be together.
