London’s performance was relatable as she unveiled the ugly truth of being married to a successful basketball player who struggles with an addiction and infidelity, all while flashing her mesmerizing smile. Source: BET / BET While the cast is made of black Hollywood all-stars (including a few celebrity guests), it’s Lauren London’s character that we can’t get enough of, as Vanessa effortlessly makes us empathize with the often-idolized lifestyle of a glamorous yet constantly cheated on basketball wife. It’s clear that London’s own experience as a doting mother of two comes through in her role of Vanessa King, as she prioritizes her family both on and off screen. “Being a mother has changed my outlook on life,” the 34-year old actress recently told The Grio, “and I think that naturally filters into my work.” In the series premiere, we’re introduced to Vanessa and Marques King (Sarunas J. Jackson), a good looking and successful couple who seemingly have it all but struggle to keep their marriage in tact due to Marques’ compulsive cheating. In spite of their struggles, we see that Vanessa clearly loves her husband, or “King” as she calls him, and even puts her dreams of becoming a high-powered attorney on hold to become the perfect wife and mother that’ll help take her husband’s professional basketball career to the next level. Like so many wives and mothers in real life, Mrs. King is devoted to keeping her family together, but her constant sacrifices can’t seem to stop her husband from messing around with known side-chicks and groupies behind his wife’s back. As an escape from Marques’ persistent unfaithfulness, Vanessa turns to her sorority sister and gossip blogger friend, Nia Bullock (Karen Obilom), for support and a sense of familiarity in her new Los Angeles home. But in the age of social media and click bait, there’s no escaping that reality as Marques’ extramarital affairs will soon be made public through an exclusive interview with his mistress done by Vanessa’s BFF, Nia. Now, Nia is conflicted on whether to remain loyal to her girl or impress her boss by running the exclusive story about Marques’ cheating. Tasha Rosenbrook Refunds Fan Donations, Says Leida Has Destroyed Her

Two months ago, Tasha Rosenbrook bravely asked for help as Leida Margaretha destroyed her life for a second time. Fans opened their hearts and wallets and donated, but now Tasha has announced that she's refunding them. Why? Because Leida has won. Tasha can't keep fighting. Leida Margaretha marched into Tasha's home and took everything from her — not only her father, but her apartment. Tasha had to move, and she spoke her mind — on 90 Day Fiance and on social media. Leida retaliated by securing a restraining order against Tasha for “harassment.” That means four years before Tasha can even try to bridge the gap that Leida created between father and daughter. Fans of Tasha's, plus people who just hate Leida, contributed to her GoFundMe to help her fight the restraining order in court. In a new video shared on social media, Tasha explains why that legal battle has come to an end. “We are here to update you finally on what’s going on,” Tasha says. “Unfortunately, there’s no good news here.” “So firstly, I would like to say that yes, the money from the GoFundMe did go towards the lawyer,” Tasha clarifies. “But she refunded all the money that we gave her,” she reveals. Tasha explains that this happened “because she decided to withdraw from my case about two weeks ago.” Tasha explains the attorney's decision: “she felt like she didn’t quite have what it took to do a restraining order case,” “And not only that,” the video notes. “But in order to reopen the original case we’d have to appeal to a higher court.” “Which,” it is revealed. “Would cost almost $10,000.” “It’s not that we didn’t have new evidence to present,” Tasha's roommate Jan explains. “Tasha doesn’t have the money,” she says plainly. “That’s a lot of money.” “We are giving everyone the chance to request their refund from the GoFundMe,” Jan continues. “Tasha doesn’t have thousands of dollars to take this to the state level and get new evidence presented to a new judge,” she explains. “But that doesn’t mean she’s not going to try to get her security deposit back, Eric,” Jan warns. Tasha lived in the apartment before Eric moved in as a roommate and ultimately forced her to leave to please Leida. That's not one side of the story — horrified viewers watched Leida gleefully make that arrangement on camera. “I’m not happy about it,” Tasha expresses. “I’m not withdrawing because I want to.” Another obstacle is that the statute of limitations on harassment has passed. “Too much time has passed,” Jan says. “And there hasn’t been any bashing of Tasha that we know of on social media.” “It’s not because we weren’t trying,” the video clarifies. “It’s just things weren’t working out.” “We can and can’t quite look at other lawyers,” Tasha admits. “Because honestly, between Jan and I, we’ve called about 50 at least lawyers in the area.” “No one really wants to take the case,” she laments. “Mainly because of social media.” “And also because there really aren’t a lot of lawyers willing to do harassment,” she adds, noting the exception of more expensive lawyers. “It’s just a mess,” Tasha bemoans. “It’s going to cost thousands of dollars for the new retainer if I wanted to reopen the case.” “And then it’s going to cost who knows how much more for a new lawyer too,” the roommates fear. “Plus if I found a lawyer outside of my county,” Tasha notes. “I’d have to pay for them to travel.” “It’s just not worth my mental health anymore,” she expresses. There's more than one way for Leida to win. If Tasha is (more) broken emotionally and financially, that's a win for Leida. We should note that, though Tasha has fared the worst since Leida began lashing out at her “enemies,” she's not the only target. In recent months, a number of Instagram accounts have become targets. According to complaints lodged by Reality Diggers and others, Leida has been reporting any mention of her as “copyright infringement.” This is a powerful tactic for silencing any criticism or mention of her. Reporting someone for harassment or impersonation can take ages. But social media platforms are terrified of copyright lawsuits. Leida has been chasing these blogs into hiding with her reports. And Instagram has rewarded her with the blue check mark of verification.

Robert Kraft: Arrest Made In Connection With Prostitution Ring

A net worth of a billion dollars or more brings with it advantages that go well beyond yachts and private jets. For example, you can make just about anything that’s bothering you disappear — including an enemy or two if you’re smart about it! But as New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is currently learning the hard way, nothing hangs around quite like bad press. Even a 10-figure bank account can’t make a juicy scandal go away, particularly when it involves the head of a widely-despised sports franchise and a Florida massage parlor. As you’ve probably heard by now, Kraft was arrested  back in February for his connection to a Jupiter, FL prostitution ring. In the months since, Kraft has received some occasional good news. (He won’t be charged with human trafficking, for example.) But he’s received a whole lot more bad news. (Ever wanted to see video of Robert Kraft getting a hand job ? Because it looks like one is headed your way!) And this week is a particularly rough one for Kraft, as his “happy ending” kerfuffle is back in the headlines for two different reasons. For starters, the 77-year-old will be back in court on Friday, but this time, he’s the one who requested a hearing. Not surprisingly, Kraft wants to block the release of his handy home-movie. His lawyers argue that the footage would make it more difficult for Kraft to receive a fair trial — and honestly, they probably have a point. Plus, a 77-year-old getting cranked off while lying on a crusty massage table in South Florida? To quote the great philosopher Sweet Brown, ain’t nobody got time for that! And today, Kraft is back in the headlines unexpectedly, due to the arrest of Shen Mingbi one of his two, um … co-stars in the tape. According to TMZ, the video shows both Mingbi and a woman named Lei Wang and both are seen “using their hands on Kraft’s penis.” We’re a little disappointed TMZ passed up the opportunity for a solid Wang pun there, but maybe they figured the straight facts in this case are wild enough. Wang was arrested back in February but Mingbi was just taken into custody this week. She’s facing one count of deriving support from prostitution and eight counts of offer to commit prostitution. The phrase “deriving support” really reminds you that Wang and Mingbi probably had little choice in all this, and yet Kraft will certainly get a lighter sentence. What a country! What a Patriot! Josh Duggar Sued For Fraud After Stealing Neighbor’s Land?!

Well, folks, it looks like Josh Duggar will soon be back in court. Sadly, Josh won’t be facing justice for molesting five young girls , but it does finally face some consequences as a result of his actions. You see, like his father, Josh is much more well-heeled financially than his neighbors in rural Arkansas. (Josh is not rich , by any means, having been exiled from his family’s media empire back in 2015. But by the standards of an economically-depressed region, he’s doing okay.) This enables Josh to buy up large tracts of land, thus granting him even greater power over his fellow Arkansans than he had already acquired through his wealth and his famous last name. Of course, Josh is as conscientious about his real estate holdings as he is about not cheating on his wife. And so it should come as no surprise that he’s being sued for buying up his neighbor’s land — without telling the guy. According to Radar Online,  Carl Echols is taking Josh to court over what he says is the unlawful purchase of land he owns and lives on! Echols says his cousin, Edward Lewis, sold him a 5-acre tract of land in 2006 for the sum of $17,500. Ten years later, Lewis sold the same property to Josh for just $1,000. Now, it’s unclear if Josh knew the property was not Lewis’ to sell — but Echols says Josh’s due diligence would’ve cleared that right up. “A full title search of the property would have put any prospective buyer on notice of Petitioner’s interest in the property,” Echols claims in court documents. “Petitioner has suffered damages because he has been paying property taxes on the property, has maintained the property, and may [be] displaced from the property if he does not prevail on his quiet title action,” his attorneys add. Echols says Josh  “never visited the property,” and doing so would have prevented this whole mess. Thus, he believes Josh is just as culpable for this con job as Lewis. Now, you may be thinking to yourself that this isn’t the only Josh Duggar real estate scandal to make headlines in the past week. And you would be right. Josh and wife Anna are reportedly desperate to sell their home , so much so, in fact, that they dropped the asking price by 10 grand after just a few days on the market. It’s unclear if these two matters are related, but there’s a very strong likelihood of a link. It’s possible that Josh is eager to put some distance between himself and his angry neighbor. Or it’s possible that the five-acre lot was the intended location for his new home. (Though that seems unlikely, as Josh has allegedly never surveyed the property once.) Either way, this probably isn’t sitting well with Josh’s parents. The Duggars earn most of their cash from two industries — media and real estate — and now Josh is messing up in both areas. Ashley Martson: Jay Smith’s Cheating Scandal is Worse Than Fans Know!

It wasn't too long ago that 90 Day Fiance was bragging about its “low” divorce rate. They may have to eat their words. Ashley Martson announced to the world that Jay Smith cheated on her again . After this heartbreak, she's not letting him off easy. But Ashley is thanking fans profusely for their comforting words — and dropping hints that there's more to this scandal than any of us suspect. In an emotional series of videos shared to her Instagram Stories, Ashley expresses her gratitude to her fans. “I wanted to say,” she begins. “Thank you so much.” For your convenience, we have merged the clips into a single video and included it in this post. “I have received so many messages — hundreds of messages,” she clarifies. “In support of me.” Many applauded her for giving Jay a second chance late last year, in part because he had not physically cheated on her. This time, people are glad to see her cut him off — and it sounds like fans don't know the half of it. “You guys don’t even know what’s going on right now,” Ashley adds. “And,” she marvels. “You’re still sending messages full of support,” Fans already know that Jay cheated. In fact, a woman claiming to be his mistress even took to social media to announce that she's allegedly pregnant with his baby. What more could there be? How much worse does it get? But Ashley is trying to stay positive, thanks to some help from her devoted fans. She thanks her followers for their messages “telling me to keep my head up.” “And,” she continues. “It means a lot.” A positive attitude can get you through things that might otherwise break you. “I couldn’t sleep last night,” Ashley admits. But she had an endless supply of friendly messages to keep her company. “And honestly,” she confesses. “I just read them all.” “And I really am going to try really hard to get back to all of you,” Ashley promises. She may not succeed, but she'll try. “But I just want you to know that I appreciate everyone who supports me,” Ashley expresses. “And,” she raves. “Reading those messages last night really put me kind of in a better place right now.” Knowing that there are people who care about you and support you can make a world of difference. Especially if you're someone who has too often gotten unnecessary and unwarranted hate. “So,” she adds. “I appreciate it.” It was just over a week ago when Ashley used Instagram to expose Jay — once again — as a cheater. “It’s all fun and games until your ass gets deported,” she taunted. “Have fun at the strip club with MY money and MY car you’re driving without a license,” Ashley added. “Bye Felicia,” she taunted. Ashley added the word: “Canceled.” Ashley has certainly been frustrating and even problematic at times. But occassional crankiness and a fraud scandal do not add up to what the world has thrown back at her. Between her ongoing battle with lupus and Jay's relentless, unabashed cheating, she can't seem to catch a break. If there's more to this story than we currently know or suspect, we hope that Ashley reveals it, soon. Her fans will want to support her through any storm.

Jamie Lynn Spears to Trolls: STFU About My Sister’s Mental Health Issues!

Free Britney? More like Jamie Lynn Spears now feels like she has no choice but to speak freely in light of some of the criticism coming her famous sister’s way. Earlier this month, Britney Spears checked into a mental health facility due to the difficulty she was having in dealing with her father’s medical condition. (The beloved pop singer opened up about her dad’s ruptured colon and related, significant surgeries in an emotional Instagram post from January.) At the time, Britney explained that she had to cancel the next installment of her Las Vegas residency in order to focus on her father’s health needs, writing this to her fans: “A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died . We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. “I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. I hope you all can understand. I appreciate your prayers and support for my family during this time. “Thank you, and love you all… always.” Details regarding Britney’s exact mental state have not been made public, but some reports have alleged the singer has been suffering because she is off her medication . Over the last several days, meanwhile, some fans have come to believe that Britney is being held against her will . The hashtag #FreeBritney has even started trending and some real losers out there have pointed a finger of blame at Britney’s loved ones, most notably Jamie Lynn Spears. They are somehow upset with Jamie Lynn for not doing more to save her sister. As you might expect, such a notion does not sit well with Jamie Lynn. Not. At. All. Early this morning, she jumped on Instagram to share a video of Spears from 2007. It features a woman approaching the Spears sister and telling Britney, in no uncertain terms, that “nobody wants you in this neighborhood,” to which Jamie Lynn awesome responds: “Then move the f-ck out!” As a caption to the video, she wrote: “10 years ago, who was there?? I have been here long before anyone else, and I’ll be here long after. “I love my sister with everything I have. So, anyone or anything that speaks to the contrary can GTFOH with all the comments about what you don’t understand. “Do not come for me or the ones I love anymore.” Referencing what Jamie Lynn told this woman back in 2007, she concluded as follows: You can move the “blank” outta here with all that, just like this other lady who was running her mouth. Perfectly said. And the sisters’ mom, Lynne Spears, agrees, as she commented on the All That alum’s post with four red heart emojis. Anyone who has followed the saga of this family is aware that Jamie Lynn was among the many relatives who supported Britney during her high-profile breakdown in 2007 and 2008 in the wake of the Grammy winner’s divorce from Kevin Federline. Her father is now sick, physically. Her sister is now sick, mentally. The last thing she needs is for total strangers to judge her based on no evidence whatsoever. We can all agree that Britney needs as much support as possible and all pray for her recovery. But let’s also agree that Jamie Lynn bears no responsibility for what has happened here — and, for the love of God, let’s all leave her the heck alone. Sheesh .

Adele & Simon Konecki: Cause of Their Split Revealed!

Last week, the world learned that Adele and Simon Konecki had separated after eight years together. Immediately, several big questions sprang to mind, not the least of which was, when can we expect the most epic breakup album of all time? We kid Adele out of love. No, what fans really wanted to know was how much will Adele be forced to pay Simon (Hint: it’s a lot), and what caused these two to call it quits. After all, it wasn’t so terribly long ago that Adele seemed to be head-over-heels for Simon, and vice-versa. But then again, a lot has happened in the eight years since Adele and Simon got together. The split was announced on Friday with the usual boilerplate statements from reps for the couple: “Adele and her partner have separated,” the statement read. “They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.” Needless to say, not a ton of information there. But while there’s been “no further comment” from Adele’s team, insiders close to the situation have offered valuable insights to the media. A clear picture is beginning to emerge with regard to what led Adele and Simon to their decision to part ways — and it sounds like it’s a familiar set of circumstances that afflicts many celebrity marriages. “They had a lot in common early on, but eventually they just grew apart,” an insider tells E! News. “She became a bigger and bigger star, and he was okay [with] being in the background, but as she got bigger and had massive tours and intense schedules, they just grew apart.” Like we said, it’s a tale as old as time. It’s basically A Star Is Born , except Simon got a nice big settlement check instead of punching his own ticket in the garage. Oh, um … spoiler alert for A Star is Born . The source claims the split came as a shock even to the singer’s closest friends: “Their marriage was clearly working for a very long time,” the insider adds. “Whenever she was out at big openings and special events, he was usually with her, and they looked really just happy together and in love.” The source believes both parties continued working on the relationship until the very end, saying: “They were into the marriage pretty much until they decided this just isn’t working anymore.” Fortunately, it sounds as though Adele and Simon are committed to keeping the split amicable for the sake of their son, 6-year-old Angelo. “It’s highly unlikely this is going to get ugly,” says the source. Britney Spears Spotted Outside of Rehab: Is She Free to Return Home?

Fans have wondered if mounting pressure from the Free Britney movement would help Britney Spears get out early. On Sunday, their wish seemed to be granted, as she was spotted away from the mental health facility where she’s been staying for weeks. Is Britney out and free to go home? Well … it’s more complicated than that. On Easter Sunday, the talented and luminous Britney Spears was spotted out in the open with hunky boyfriend Sam Asghari. She has been in a mental health facility since late March, as she herself revealed on social media. While fans were relieved to see her out in the open, multiple reports say that Britney’s treatment is ongoing. This is, notably, Britney’s second time — that we know of — leaving the facility since she checked in weeks ago. On April 11, she reportedly departed to get her hair done and later returned. Entertainment Tonight sheds some light on what may have been the real reason that she decided on this temporary commitment. “Britney’s career, caring for her children, and the weight of her father’s illness, has been far too much for her,” the insider explains.  “Despite taking time off from performing,” the source adds. “She couldn’t handle the stress.” “She needed not only down time,” the insider continues. “But she decided she needed professional help.” That is largely consistent with what more reliable reports and Britney’s own Instagram post have stated. So, what is Britney’s goal while she’s undergoing treatment? “She wants nothing more than to heal and feel better,” the source affirms. The insider delivers good news: “She has improved while in the facility.” “But,” the source cautions, despite these strides, she is “not going home yet.” We don’t know the exact date on which she entered the facility, but if it’s to be for 30 days, we imagine that her departure date is already scheduled. Britney’s true loved ones are cheering her on. “Those that love and support her say she needs to focus on herself,” the insider reports. But the source acknowledges that “it hasn’t been easy for her to be away from her children.” Britney may be known for her sensational performances and for being one of the greatest singers in human history. She is first and foremost a first-rate mother. Sean Preston and Jayden are the center of her world. The Blast reports that Britney used her father’s illness as a cover for canceling her Domination residency in Vegas. According to their report, Britney had been feeling overwhelmed and was working with doctors to find the right combination of meds to work. (Remember, different people’s bodies are different, so sometimes doctor’s have to play guess-and-check with a patient to get it right) There were unconfirmed claims that Britney had simply stopped taking her medication back in January. A lot of Britney’s fans found it hard to believe the allegation that she’d just decided to deliberately neglect her mental health. Apparently, it was members of Britney’s team who were loudly promoting her Domination residency when Britney’s well being was in decline. She wasn’t the one who needed a reminder of good priorities — they were. Britney’s outings and these more plausible reports also fly in the face of claims that she was forced into the facility. When Britney and her boyfriend both posted to Instagram about her decision, some interpreted it as damage control. As well-meaning as many fans were when they tweeted “Free Britney,” we hope that she did not feel undue pressure from the movement. Britney is entitled to seek help for her well being and she doesn’t ever have to tell us more than she wants to. We’re so glad that she got to spend some time with Sam on Sunday and we hope that she’s back home with her kids as soon as she’s ready. As you probably know, Eason was fired from the show back in February of 2018 after hurling homophobic slurs at those who urged sensitivity in the wake of the Parkland shooting. Obviously, this presented a challenge, as producers were now tasked with filming Jenelle at her home without her husband appearing on camera. For months, it's been rumored that Eason is making the situation even more difficult by harassing producers and making it impossible for them to compile usable footage.
