How precious is little bitty Vaeda Baltierra, Catelynn and Tyler's brand new baby girl? SO precious, right? She really is just absolutely adorable, and that's why we were so happy to see that they just shared another new photo of her sweet little face. But then the drama started. And boy, did that drama get intense … 1. Hello, Baltierras! So here’s the Baltierra family as of last month — there’s Catelynn, Tyler, Nova, and baby Vaeda. 2. Awwww! So sweet, right? 3. Sister Love! Here she is with Nova. Adorable! 4. Get Ready … It’s nice to start out with a few sweet baby photos, because now we have to get into the bad stuff. Which, honestly, has lasted for quite a long time now. 5. Like … Years, even. 6. A Quick Recap We won’t delve into every single detail, but Catelynn and Tyler’s relationship hit an all time low last year basically because he felt she wasn’t supporting him and his mental health after he held down the fort while she did two separate six-week stays at a treatment center in Arizona for her own mental health. You're forgive if you forgot that Jenny McCarthy was ever a panelist on The View. The infamous anti-vaxxer didn't leave a major impression on the talk show… she was only there for one season… and the show has had approximately 769 panelists since the time she left. But McCarthy sure is making headlines now in relation to her stint as a co-host. In her comments featured in the book Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View , McCarthy explains why the atmosphere surrounding the show made her so miserable, honing in specifically on Barbara Walters. And the story of a dirty tampon? Yes. Scroll down to find out what McCarthy claims she went through as a member of The View's constantly-rotating cast… 1. When the Heck was Jenny McCarthy on The View? From 2013-14. She sat alongside Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi Goldberg as the main panel during her stint. 2. Did She Leave on Good Terms? Not really. There was no explosive scandals or anything, but Shepherd announced her departure from the show and then McCarthy Tweeted: “If Sherri goes … I go too. My View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks. Thanks to everyone at the show for your dedication and an amazing year.” 3. See Ya, J Mac! The View chose not to renew McCarthy’s one-year contract and then simply said after she confirmed her departure: “The View will be moving in an exciting new direction next year, and ABC has made decisions to evolve the show creatively.” Not exactly lots of gratitude expressed by either side, you know? 4. And Now We Know Why The book “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View” comes out on April 2, 2019 and takes readers inside the show’s set. Excerpts have already been released, however, most of them featuring McCarthy’s very negative comments. 5. Juicy! What Did She Say? “Every day I went home and I was miserable,” the former Playboy model admitted. “It really was the most miserable I’ve been on a job in my 25 years of show business.” 6. Let’s Hear More, Right? The main issue was Walters, McCarthy explained: “Imagine a woman like Barbara Walters. It’s her last year and she doesn’t want to leave. Think about that. And I’m the new bitch here.” View Slideshow
Almost as shocking as the college admissions fraud scandal itself is seeing how brazenly those arrested kept electronic records of their alleged crimes. Court documents show exactly when Lori Loughlin learned that her alleged bribery scheme had been a success. And how did Lori respond to the “good” news at the time? By sending her coconspirator an emoji. She’s very chill about crimes. People got a look at the court affidavit in Lori Loughlin’s case and reports upon its contents. “On or about November 16, 2017,” the document reads. “[Singer] sent the Giannullis an e-mail bearing the subject line, ‘CONGRATULATIONS!!!’” This was an email “with their younger daughter’s conditional acceptance letter attached.” Said younger daughter is Olivia Jade, the now-infamous influencer. Rick Singer is the ringleader of the scam — who has already pleaded guilty. “Loughlin responded, ‘This is wonderful news!” within the text of the email. According to the affidavit, she then responded with a “high-five emoji.” When spending $500,000 to get your daughter into what many would consider a safety school by pretending she’s an athlete, discretion is vital. “[Singer] replied: ‘Please continue to keep hush hush till March,’” the affidavit reports. According to court documents: “Loughlin responded: ‘Yes, of course.'” Those of us who can barely wait a few weeks to tell our friends what we got them for their birthdays can only imagine how hard that was. Imagine waiting months to tell people that your daughter was accepted to the exact university that you wanted her to attend. Of course, the whole paying-half-a-million-dollars thing may have helped remind Lori to keep it quiet. Lori Loughlin was best known for her role on Full House . In recent years, her career has focused more upon guest roles on other shows — and, of course, on Lifetime . She has been a staple on the network for half a decade. Now, just as brands are severing ties with her daughter Olivia, Lori is losing acting gigs. She was fired by the Hallmark channel , and many believe that her acting days may be behind her. Considering what she is facing, that may be the least of her worries. The fear that her acting career is at an end may be premature. After all, television leads us to believe that prisons put on plays sometimes. And like the more than 40 other defendants, including fellow actress Felicity Huffman, Lori could be facing prison time. This massive fraud spanned the nation, and if convicted, she may spend years behind bars. That is … assuming that she doesn’t cut some sort of plea deal . That said, it seems likely that prosecutors and judges alike will be eager to make an example of these priviledged parents. Remember, for every student whose placement was bought, a student who applied honestly had to be waitlisted. People are divided over the most surreal part of this scandal. Is it that CEOs and actors pay thousands or even millions in bribes to secure admission for their children? Is it that Olivia Jade is a teen with 1.4 million Instagram followers and can make thousands of dollars with a single posted advertisement? Is it that this scandal immediately got these women fired, but there are still notorious abusers and predators employed elsewhere in the entertainment industry? Is it that the word coxswains exists? By the way, Lori and Felicity are both being sued for half a trillion dollars . That amount may be a little over-the-top, but it reflects a common sentiment of moral outrage. And this whole elaborate scheme was all for nothing. Universities are looking into any students whose admissions may have been bought through bribes. But Lori’s daughters Olivia and Isabella aren’t sticking around to learn their fates — the two have dropped out of USC . People on Twitter have joked that, on the Law & Order: SVU version of this story, the twist would be that Olivia had leaked the story to give her an excuse to quit school. I’d watch that episode. Olivia Jade: Sorry for Saying College is Dumb!
As you’ve probably heard by now, Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian again last month. Granted, this time she wasn’t pregnant with his child, but the betrayal was exacerbated by the fact that Tristan slept with Jordyn Woods, the longtime best friend of Khloe’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner. As we creep up on the 12-month anniversary of Tristan’s first cheating scandal, we think it’s safe to say the past year has been quite an emotional roller coaster for Khloe. Tristan put the beloved reality star through the wringer on multiple occasions, and he’s deservedly become one of the most hated men in America as a result. But according to Khloe herself, there’s one silver lining that’s made this entire mess worthwhile. On Tuesday, a fan tweeted a moving message of support to Khloe: “I genuinely hope @khloekardashian meets someone one day that treats her with the respect she deserves,” the user wrote. “She’s been through more shiddy [sic] relationships than any one person deserves. At least she got baby True.” Aside from the time she bashed Jordyn on Twitter, Khloe has mostly been silent about her ex’s infidelities. But this time, she was quick to respond with a tweet that gave fans the impression that Khloe’s future is still looking bright: “Baby True made it all worth it,” she replied. “She is my heart and soul,” Khloe added. “I get so excited for every little day with her.” We don’t need to tell you that Khloe has been in the news a lot lately. And yet, despite the constant coverage and the endless scrutiny of her social media pages, we very rarely hear anything about Khloe that inspires hope that she’ll persevere. And that’s odd, because for years, Khloe has been regarded as the most resilient of her sisters, a figure who inspired millions with emotional toughness. So here’s the long-awaited reminder that that toughness has remained intact throughout all of this. Khloe has been through the fire these past 12 months, there’s no doubt about it. But adversity is the only true measure of resilience, and we’re sure many Khloe fans have gained even greater respect for their favorite Kardashian.
Despite — or perhaps because of — the fact that she and her husband no longer appear on Counting On , fan interest in the life of Jill Duggar has reached an all-time high in recent months. As you may recall, Jill’s husband, Derick Dillard, got fired from the show after he launched a transphobic tirade at fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings. Shortly thereafter, Jill quit Counting On as a gesture of solidarity. It may seem surprising, given that the move left the Dillards with two kids to support and no visible source of income, but it was in keeping with the deep sense of patriarchal deference the Duggar women were raised with. Yes, in the beginning, Jill and Derick followed the typical blueprint for a Duggar couple. But somewhere along the line, they lost the plot … The most obvious way in which Jill and Derick have strayed from the Duggar playbook is no that they no longer take part in the lucrative family media empire. But now that younger sister Jessa Duggar is pregnant with her third child , fans have picked up on another bit of anamolous behavior, as well. Derick and Jill have two kids, ages 1 and 3. That’s not so unusual for a young couple, but Duggar girls are taught from a young age that procreation is their primary reason for being. As a result, many are surprised by the fact that Jill is nearly 28, and her 5-year marriage has yielded only two children. The most obvious explanation is that Jill and Derick simply can’t afford to expand their family due to their lack of income. But Duggar obsessives on Reddit think there’s more to the story. Jill’s first two deliveries were C-sections, and in both cases, she was forced to abandon plans for a homebirth following excruciatingly long labors. One Reddit user with medical experience explained the situation thusly: “Just to add a bit of info to this, the major concern with subsequent cesarean deliveries is placenta accreta, meaning the placenta attaches too deeply into the uterus,” they wrote. “This is a major problem because so much blood flows through the placenta (600-700mL/minute, or about 10% of a pregnant woman’s total blood volume). “This means that an improperly managed accreta could lead to the mother bleeding to death in a matter of minutes.” Yikes. The Duggars may be throroughly committed to the idea of siring massive broods (they even consider it a religious mandate), but we’re guessing even they would draw the line at a potentially deadly delivery. After all, obvious drawbacks aside, Jill dying while defying her doctor’s orders would be seriously bad for the brand. Kailyn Lowry is going under the knife, again! The Teen Mom 2 star has always been pretty open with her fans on social media, and on Monday Kailyn took to Twitter to reveal that she will be getting a breast reduction surgery . “Just met with the doctor for my reduction you guys!!!” she tweeted. She explained that she wants to go down a few bra sizes, insisting her body would look slimmer and just more proportionate. Kail has already met with a plastic surgeon and is ready to do something about her 36DDD sized bra. “Honestly, I think my huge boobs make me look bigger than I am,” she wrote. “Certain clothes [don’t] lay right. I’m already a big girl and my boobs don’t help that situation.” As fans of the mother of three may remember, she has considered getting the reduction before but backed out. Back in January of 2018, she told her followers in a post: “I won’t lie to y’all, i came to Miami for lipo [and] a boob job.” “But hours before my surgery i decided i don’t want to go through with it,” she explained. It sounds like she has since had time to think over her options, deciding to go forward with the reduction after all. Many girls turn to breast reductions due to back pain or health issues and Kailyn explained her similar issues last summer on her Coffee Convos podcast saying, “They’re massive! It weighs me down. I already have bad posture and my boobs add to it.” Her plastic surgery announcement came days after she posted an empowering nude photo to her Instagram for her 27th birthday on March 14. “27 and feelin’ myself,” she wrote for the caption. The MTV celebrity has frequently posted about going to the gym over the past few months, so a healthier lifestyle is something she is clearly thriving for. However, even though she seems confident in her body, she feels undergoing a breast reduction will benefit her health and happiness even more. This will not be the 27-year-olds first time getting plastic surgery , however, as she has previously undergone a Brazillian butt lift, lip injections, and a tummy tuck at the beginning of 2016. The surgery was so dramatic that even ex-husband Javi Marroquin said it was one of the main causes of their divorce . Although Kail blames her ex’s controlling and jealous behavior for the demise of their marriage. Either way, Kail is smiling now and that is all that matters! “I care how I look,” she shared in her book Hustle and Heart . “I knew that being satisfied with my outer appearance would give me the confidence I needed to face the world head-on.” It’s safe to say Kail’s appearance is making quite the transformation since her past days on 16 and Pregnant . But whatever makes the mom feel her best, we’re here for it! View Slideshow: Kailyn Lowry Poses Nude For Birthday, Gets Body-Shamed By Haters
Source: NurPhoto / Getty After TMZ claimed Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital for an attempted suicide, in which she allegedly slit her wrists, the troubled 20-year-old denied the reports. The gossip site is doubling down on their original account, however, adding that Paris is reportedly refusing rehab. “Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … those close to Paris suggested rehab after what law enforcement says was a suicide attempt over the weekend, landing her in the hospital,” the site reports . “We’re told the attempted suicide shows some serious underlying problems … they say Paris is dealing with all sorts of emotional issues as well as substance abuse issues. Our sources say Paris’ team had help ready to spring into action Sunday, but she refused.” TMZ reported that Michael Jackson ‘s only daughter slit her wrists early Saturday, at which point she was supposedly rushed to the hospital and placed on a temporary 5150 hold. “We’re told she’s been distraught ever since Leaving Neverland began airing. As to why Paris was released just hours after she was hospitalized, our sources say she told the hospital that had admitted her that her lawyers were taking her to UCLA Medical Center, and the hospital let her go with the attorneys, but she never ended up at UCLA,” the site states. As we mentioned earlier, Paris Jackson responded to TMZ’s article, saying it isn’t facts … fuck you you fucking liars — Paris-Michael K. J. Brian Austin Green did not make a public statement after Luke Perry passed away . Because many people on the Internet are horrible and judgmental, the actor was raked over the social media coals by some folks as a result of this decision. Green addressed the stupid criticism in a recent statement . But it turns out that the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star did have a poignant reaction to the sudden death of his ex-colleague and close friend, one he shared with podcast listeners late last week. “I texted him after he passed, knowing obviously that he can’t text me back but on some level, hoping that he would text me back, or that he was out there somewhere,” Green explained to listeners. Green, of course, who starred as David Silver alongside Perry’s Dylan McKay on the long-running Fox drama. These will forever be the roles for which both celebrities are best known. Green went on to say that he knows Perry is out there, somewhere, somehow, adding: “I know he’s looking down and I know he’s smiling.” Perry tragically died on March 4, five days after he suffered a massive stroke. According to most reports shortly afterward, he never regained consciousness following this incident — but he was at least surrounded by loved ones when he left this planet. “Luke was a special guy,” Green says. “I’m still mourning over it, so there’s a part of me that’s kind of shocked that I’m speaking about Luke this way/ “We all knew that at some point we’d have to deal with losing cast members and friends, but not this soon. Not at 52. Not in such an abrupt way.” Tributes to Perry have come pourning in ever since he passed away. The actor impacted so many lives, from those he scarcely knew — did you read this amazing story from Colin Hanks ? — to those alongside whom he worked for years; on 90210 and/or Riverdale and/or many other projects in between. “Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we’ve shared over the last thirty years … God please give him a seat close to to you, he deserves it,” Tweeted Ian Ziering a couple weeks ago. Added Shannen Doherty, who had just recently starting spending time with Perry again: “I’m struggling with this loss and am having a hard time with my thoughts. But, my heart goes out to his family and friends who were blessed by his light in their (and mine) lives. “Processing this is impossible right now.” Green clearly feels the same way. “Luke was one of those people nobody had a bad story about. He was just a great guy,” he said on his podcast, concluding: “And he was Luke no matter where you saw him, no matter when you saw him, no matter what he was going through. He was a rock.” Read more reactions to Perry’s death below, as so many of those who knew him well continue to struggle with what transpired. May he rest in peace. Miley Cyrus could barely keep it together on Monday. For a very good and very understandable, and very sad, reason. The Grammy nominee was scheduled to perform a song at the memorial of Janice Freeman — but was too distraught to do so, tearfully introducing her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, to sing a rendition of “Amazing Grace” instead. She explained why to those in attendance. “Before we sing this song for Janice, I just want to clear up a rumor. I was never her coach,” Miley, voice shaky, in this video, adding: “Ever. She was always mine. I learned more from her than anyone that I’ve ever gotten honored to be in the room with, not just vocally. “I should have gotten more lessons than I did, but she taught me everything that I know about love.” Cyrus did technically serve as Freeman's mentor on Season 13 of The Voice. Freeman died on March 2 at the age of 33, to the sadness and shock of those who knew her well. A spokesperson for Freeman's family confirmed to in a statement at the time that she passed away due to combined complications of lupus and a bronchial infection. “On Saturday afternoon, Janice began complaining that she couldn't breathe properly and, in a matter of minutes, required CPR from her husband,” the rep said of her passing . “He called 911, continuing to do CPR until paramedics arrived. “While Janice arrived at the hospital alive, continued efforts could not save her. Doctors believe a blood clot had formed in her lungs, which led to her quick demise. Janice Freeman died at 5:30 p.m. PST.” So very sad. Cyrus quickly paid tribute to the aspiring singer, sharing the photo of a rainbow that you see above. “Thank you @janicefreeman.. for everything. This represents you perfectly,” wrote the star as a caption. Cyrus and Freeman were far more than just colleagues. They became so close that Cyus at one time helped Freeman afford a new home. ““@MileyCyrus you are one of my closest friends and what you did for me and my family Im praying GOD gives you the desire of your heart!” wrote Freeman in response last year. At her memorial service this week, Cyrus continued through tears: “I had planned on singing a song for her, but just losing her is just too much for me. “So … my dad’s gotta take care of this for me. But I’ll always be your sister, and I’m here for you, and I’m here for your family. And Janice, I’ll miss you more than I could ever say.” Cyrus later joined in on her father's performance of “Amazing Grace.” Watch the emotional footage here.
Back in July of 2018, Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly claimed her life. Lovato recently reached a milestone in her recovery and is soon to be eight months sober. But this week, there’s a different anniversary on the pop icon’s mind. “Today I Would’ve had 7 years sober,” Demi wrote on her Instagram page over the weekend. “I don’t regret going out because I needed to make those mistakes, but I must never forget that’s what they were: mistakes,” she added. When Demi says “going out” here, she’s not referring to hitting the club (her overdose took place in a private residence). Instead, she’s using popular AA terminology: “going out” is a common euphemism for relapsing. From there, Lovato went on to express her gratitude to the organization (along with Narcotics Anonymous) and its compassionate response to roadblocks on the path to recovery. “Grateful that AA/NA never shuts the door on you no matter how many times you have to start your time over,” she wrote. “I didn’t lose 6 years; I’ll always have that experience but now I just get to add to that time with a new journey and time count.” Demi is clearly optimistic about her continued recovery, and sources say she’s fully committed to the hard work of staying sober. There were concerns among fans when Demi began dating Henry Levy shortly after leaving treatment. The couple had met in rehab, and though Levy was newly sober himself, those who are new to recovery are commonly discouraged from entering new relationships, particularly with other people who might be vulnerable to relapses. These days, Demi and Henry are broken up, though it’s unclear if the decision had anything to do with one or both parties opting to focus on their sobriety. Lovato concluded her most recent post with a message of hope for others who may have suffered setbacks in their recovery: “If you’ve relapsed and are afraid to get help again, just know it’s possible to take that step towards recovery,” she wrote. “If you’re alive today, you can make it back. You’re worth it.” During the six years that Demi was substance-free, she often served as an inspiration to others who were in recovery. Now, it seems she’s eager to embrace that role once more. We wish Demi all the best in her sobriety, and we thank her for the inspiration she provides to so many millions of fans. View Slideshow: Demi Lovato: Everything We Know About Her Overdose So Far
