Nashville Debate Part 2

Here’s the second half of the photos from the second Presidential debate at Belmont University. The debates really are surreal experiences. Enormous pressure, energy and preparation for a 90 minute performance. One of the really amazing things you’ll notice about this view behind the scenes is how different the atmosphere can be. One moment on a crowded stage under the scrutiny of the nation, the next walking through darkly lit passageways to the fluorescent lights of the typical collegiate locker room. The Traveling Show

With the final debate tonight, I wanted to share some photos of Mom, Dad and Governor Palin on the campaign trail last week. I’ve had so much fun visiting headquarters and doing book signings over the past couple of weeks, but it’s been great joining up with the campaign again. The pace never lets up between take-offs and touchdowns and everything in between. The energy and enthusiasm at the rallies is phenomenal! Be sure to tune in to the debate tonight. We’ll have more posts soon! Song of the Day: “Pump It Up” by Elvis Costello

Obama Serves 14-State Governors with Warnings of Arrest

Barack Hussein Obama had served 14-State Governors in the United States, National Security Letters (NSLs) warning that the Governor’s actions in attempting to form “State Defense Forces” needs to be halted “immediately” or they will face arrest for the crime of treason. The employment of NSLs was authorized by the Patriot Act introduced by George W. Bush. Contained within the section related to these letters, it is forbidden for anyone receiving a NSL warning to even acknowledge the existence of said communication. Obama is angered by the several State Governors who have reestablished “State Defense Forces.” These forces are described as: “State Defense Forces (also known as State Guards, State Military Reserves, State Militias) in the United States are military units that operate under the sole authority of a state government; they are not regulated by the National Guard Bureau nor are they part of the Army National Guard of the United States. State Defense Forces are authorized by state and federal law and are under the command of the governor of each state. State Defense Forces are distinct from their state’s National Guard in that they cannot become federal entities.” Mr. Obama is fearful of these State Defense Forces, in that he does not have control of said forces, and with the U.S. Military stretched to near breaking from multiple deployments and theatre actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, these State military forces would be under the direct command and authority of the Governors in which states have said forces. In essence, the Governors would have “de facto control” of the United States. added by: regjoeschmo

‘If they think ‘Beamer, Benz, or Bentley’ is it, wait until you hear my second and third official single,’ Banks warns. By Shaheem Reid Lloyd Banks Photo: MTV News Lloyd Banks says his club smash “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley” (and its remix) — is just the setup. Banks has a lot more material in the cooker. “This is gonna pave the way for my official second single,” Banks told MTV News last week. “We’re gonna hit it right on summer at the beginning. That’s gonna take us through the summer. I got the 50 Cent tour coming up; I’m gonna be on that joint. The first show is in Cleveland [on Friday]. But they can expect that [single] within a couple of weeks. We gonna let the remix bubble through Memorial Day weekend. They can also expect a new record from Tony Yayo as well. We gotta make this a G-Unit summer. “My last album came out, I believe, October of ’06,” he continued. “I just been so eager to get out there and give the people what they expect from Lloyd Banks. If they think ‘Beamer, Benz, or Bentley’ is it, wait until you hear my second and third official single. It’s definitely gonna be crazy.” His G-Unit partner Tony Yayo just put out his 50 Cent-featured “Pass the Patr

Late Night Highlights: Schwarzenegger on Fluffers and a History Lesson with Courtney Love

Jay Leno may have had a great 60th birthday — complete with Chelsea Handler and Terry Bradshaw in a cake , but the day after his 60th birthday was not so hot. First, 60 Minutes leaked a few statements from this Sunday’s Jay-bashing interview with Conan O’B rien . And then last night, Jay was called an “ee-diot” and a “senior citizen” by the Governor of California. That clip, as well as the other highlights you missed last night while retouching your bandleader resume , after the jump.
