Cha-ching! Billboard has come out with its list of the biggest money makers in all of music – and Taylor Swift once again reigns supreme. After receiving the same distinction in 2011 , Swift earned more Benjamins than anyone else in the industry over the past 12 months, raking in $39,699,575.60 to claim the top spot over Justin Timberlake and Kenny Chesney. To compile its list, Billboard ranked performers “by U.S. earnings, calculated from touring, recorded- music sales, publishing royalties and revenue from digital music and video streaming.” Here’s the great thing, though: Taylor spends her money wisely. She was ALSO named the Most Charitable Celebrity of 2012 . Many people were impressed by Macklemore texting Kendrick Lamar to say that he just robbed him of Best Rap Album honors at the 2014 Grammy Awards. Drake was not one of those people. The Canadian rapper-crooner, who was also nominated in that category, spoke with Rolling Stone about Macklemore’s gesture, declaring, “that s–t was wack as f–k.” His reasoning behind that view? Drake was nominated for his album, Nothing Was the Same , but didn’t receive any text after Macklemore & Ryan Lewis took home the prize for The Heist . Macklemore texting Kendrick Lamar may have seemed cool to some fans, but “To name just Kendrick? That s–t made me feel funny,” Drake continued. “No, in that case, you robbed everybody. We all need text messages!” Drake said, adding that he felt any sort of apology from the duo was unnecessary. “I was like, ‘You won. Why are you posting your text message? Just chill. Take your W, and if you feel you didn’t deserve it, go get better – make better music.'” “It felt cheap. It didn’t feel genuine. Why do that? Why feel guilt? You think those other guys would pay homage to you if they won? Own your s–t.” Nominated along with Macklemore, Lamar and Drake were Kanye West and Jay Z … so we sort of see Drake’s point, however nice Mack was trying to be. In his slight defense, Macklemore and Kendrick shared text messages before the show, hyping each other up, so they have a good, existing relationship. What do you think? Many believe that Justin Bieber is in need of rehab, but a new report alleges that his ex-girlfriend actually beat him to the professional assistance punch. According to numerous sources, Selena Gomez did not cancel the Australian leg of her tour in December because she simply needed a break from performing. The 21-year-old did so because she checked into an Arizona rehab center for an emergency two-week stay (she has since left the facility). Has the good girl gone bad?! Selena Gomez in Rehab: Why? A source claims that Gomez walked into Dawn at The Meadows – a facility that specializes in young adults struggling with trauma or addiction – on January 5. The reason? She had been “partying very hard” in the weeks prior. Aside from staying out late, allegedly Gomez was into marijuana and prescription pills, with friends and family members “increasingly worried that there might be a serious problem.” “It’s important to remember that Selena had worked in Hollywood non-stop for six years,” an insider tells Radar Online , adding, “She was exhausted.” “Selena was smart enough to understand that she needed to take control of her life. “It just got to a point where she needed to get out of Los Angeles, get away from ‘the scene’ and the pressures of Hollywood, to also get away from those who had, admittedly, become a bad influence on her.” In other words… Justin Bieber. The Kang explains T.I. And Tiny Not Divorcing Guess the rumors about T.I. having a pregnant side chick aren’t true? According to TMZ: T.I. and his wife Tiny are NOT calling it quits after 3 years of marriage … despite reports to the contrary … the rapper tells TMZ. Rumors circulated like crazy after T.I. was a no-show at the Grammys and he and Tiny partied separately afterward. T.I. tells us yeah, there was a big argument, but it was over something pretty stupid. Tiny wanted to walk the Grammy red carpet and watch the show but T.I. wanted none of it. He says they angrily challenged each other on who would end up having more fun that night. T.I. says the next morning … they mended fences. Hmmmm… They argued over who would have more fun that night?
