Woman Won A $7.1 Million Judgment Against Rapper After She Sued Him For Sexual Battery A judge has given the green light to The Game’s bid for a new trial and lower judgment amount in his sexual battery case, BOSSIP has learned. Illinois Federal Court Judge Gary Feinerman filed this week that the rapper, who was born Jayceon Taylor, can seek a new trial and file motions to reduce the $7.1 million in damages a jury awarded his accuser, Priscilla Rainey. The judge threw out his December decision to deny The Game a new trial and request for lower damage amount. In November, a jury awarded Rainey, who appeared as a contestant on The Game’s reality dating show “She’s Got Game,” $6 million in punitive damages and $1.1 million in compensatory damages against The Game after she accused him of exposing her privates and molesting her in front of a crowd on stage. In court papers, lawyers for The Game blasted the judgment amount as “monstrously excessive,” and said the trial wasn’t fair to the “This Is How We Do” rapper because he wasn’t able to appear in person as he was recovering from emergency surgery. But Rainey said The Game’s legal arguments didn’t hold any water, and the $7.1 million that a jury awarded her wasn’t excessive given the facts of the case. She said the jury’s award was in line with judgment amounts in similar cases. However, the judge sided with The Game, and said the rapper can come back to court and argue why he should get a new trial and pay way less damages to Rainey. Both sides are due in court at the end of the month.

Footage has hit the internet of Cee-lo Green in the studio talking on his cell phone. Just a few short moments into the call, the phone explodes and Cee-lo collapses from his chair and falls to the floor, motionless. Megan Fox has taken fans on their first journey. Literally. Sort of. The gorgeous actress shared a photo of herself and her third child on Wednesday, offering Instagram followers a glimpse at adorable little Journey River Green. Fox and long-time partner Brian Austin Green welcomed their third child into the world back in August. Yes, it’s taken Fox three months to share a single photo of her latest offspring because she is one of the more private celebrities in Hollywood. It’s true. You might not think so because men love to talk about Megan Fox and because a number of revealing photos are scattered around the Internet of her. But Fox scarcely ever shares anything over social media and barely said a word about her pregnancy. So we’re grateful that she did at least recognize the desire of fans to see at minimum one photo of Journey. And here it is! Fox did not include a caption with the image. Let’s not ask too much of her, okay? Iggy Azalea has had a tough year. Her relationship with Nick Young came to a grinding halt in June and there was much speculation about what actually transpired between them. We got the truth through various different reports. Nick had an affair with his ex-girlfriend , Keonna Green, and got her knocked up. It really does not get less class than that, but you have to respect Azalea for sticking to her guns and getting rid of him. Iggy took to social media with a very cryptic message about the whole thing. “Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him – it’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to,” Iggy wrote. There’s absolutely no way you could rebuild trust in someone who went out and got some other chick pregnant. That’s a big no-no and we’re just glad Iggy got out before things got much more serious. That said, things between she and Nick were already pretty serious. They were engaged and living with each other. Moving on was never going to be an easy task. Nick was an untrustworthy mess. He allegedly waited until Keonna was four months pregnant before lifting the lid on his conquests. Yes, that’s how bad he was. It clearly didn’t cross his mind that the lie was only going to get worse with time. Now, we’re hearing that Iggy had to take some time out following the upset in her life. That’s allegedly why her highly anticipated new album has yet to see the light of day . “I needed a lot of time,” she told PEOPLE on Thursday night. “I mean, you wake up one morning and your fiancé is having a baby with someone else, you’re going to need some time, right?” She’s totally right. No one is going to be able to rebound from all the drama and work in the studio. Granted, Nick’s deceit probably helped Iggy find some material for the album. “I just kind of felt like, on top of me needing the personal time, then feeling, ‘Okay, I’m single now. I want to have sexy songs. I want to say stuff about being single,’ ” Azalea revealed. “I obviously didn’t write that on my [original] album because when I wrote it I was about to get married … I don’t want to go and promote my album and get asked about my relationship that has just crumbled.” Iggy is moving onwards and upwards in the wake of her personal life falling apart. Tim Burton Explains Why His Movies Are Predominantly White Have you ever noticed Tim Burton ‘s movies lack a little melanin ? The director of such childhood classics as Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas is under attack for admitting his disdain for diversity. Tim recently sat down with Bustle to discuss his latest flick Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children , and says there’s a reason why his movies are predominately white . “Nowadays, people are talking about it more,” he says regarding film diversity. But “things either call for things, or they don’t. I remember back when I was a child watching The Brady Bunch and they started to get all politically correct. Like, OK, let’s have an Asian child and a black. I used to get more offended by that than just… I grew up watching blaxploitation movies, right? And I said, that’s great. I didn’t go like, OK, there should be more white people in these movies.” In Burton’s latest flick, Samuel L. Jackson stands out as the only Black actor to be included in the cast. Jackson recently added his own two cents about the mostly white stars cast in the film… “I had to go back in my head and go, how many black characters have been in Tim Burton movies?” Jackson says. “And I may have been the first, I don’t know, or the most prominent in that particular way, but it happens the way it happens. I don’t think it’s any fault of his or his method of storytelling, it’s just how it’s played out.
