During an interview with Barbara Walters that aired on ABC last night, Miley Cyrus explained why she so often sticks out her tongue. It’s because she’s “embarrassed to take pictures” and she feels awkward and she doesn’t know “what else to do.” As for why Cyrus has a green tongue hanging outside her mouth in a new Instagram shot? That is anyone’s guess, but the photo was snapped in Tampa Bay, Florida, where the singer performed yesterday as part of 93.3 FLZ’s Jingle Ball. CeeLo ain’t going down without a fight. Cee Lo Green Pleads Not Guilty To Drug Charge He may have gotten off scott-free for the sexual assault charge, but ‘ole boy is facing four years for allegedly pushing that E. According to TMZ CeeLo Green just pled not guilty to a charge of giving a woman ex pills last year before having sex with her. The singer had arrived with his lawyer Blair Berk to the criminal court house moments ago to be arraigned. He is currently posting $30,000 bond and is expected to turn himself in to authorities for booking within 24 hours. Another hearing has been set for next month. CeeLo must be present. If convicted, he faces up to four years in state prison. Due to insufficient evidence, prosecutors cleared Green of charges he also sexually assaulted the woman during the incident. On his way into court, CeeLo told us he’s relieved and not scared — relieved that he’s not being charged with sexual assault, and not scared of the drug charge. CeeLo’s attorney tells us, “We are pleased that the Los Angeles County District Attorney has completed its investigation and concluded that the evidence did not support the false and unfounded claims made over a year ago.” She said any sexual contact between the two was consensual. She adds, “As it relates to the one charge of furnishing or sharing ecstasy, Mr. Green will responsibly address that matter in a court of law.” Whatever happens, Cee is a big boy and he’ll be okay. You know Cee Lo is a freak on the low. LAPD To Reinvestigate Sexual Battery Case Against Cee Lo Green Cee Lo, we don’t think these charges are going away this time. You may have to call in some favors to save your azz. According to TMZ The LAPD is busy writing up a detailed report that will determine whether Cee Lo Green is prosecuted for date r@pe … TMZ has learned. We broke the story … a woman accused the singer of spiking her drink with MDMA at a Downtown L.A. sushi joint last year. She claimed the next thing she remembered was waking up in a bed nekked with Cee Lo in the room. She also claimed to have a recording of Cee Lo repeatedly apologizing and referencing MDMA … although sources close to the singer called BS. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, LAPD detectives submitted the case to the L.A. County D.A. but prosecutors were not satisfied with the evidence and kicked the case back to the cops for further investigation. The re-investigation has taken months … we’re told more than 5. As for what additional info the D.A. wanted … we’re hearing two things. First they wanted additional toxicology information on what, if any, drugs were found in the woman’s system. Our law enforcement sources say the process of screening for various drugs often takes months because different labs perform different tests. And the process is also very expensive. We’re also told cops may have been looking for additional witnesses to break the he-said/she-said stalemate. Sources close to Cee Lo remain adamant … the woman’s allegations are NOT true. Our sources say when the report is written, the LAPD will personally present it to the D.A.’s office — that should either happen late this week or the following. Here’s a look at the singers who successfully gained entry into the next round last night … James Irwin – Losing My Religion (The Voice Blind Audition) James Irwin didn’t do much for the coaches last season. This time, with is performance of the R.E.M. classic “Losing My Religion,” it was a different story. Returning with newfound confidence and much more stage presence, Irwin had his pick of coaches, but went with the only one to point out weaknesses: Adam. Will Champlin – Not Over You (The Voice Blind Audition) Will Champlin, with a stirring performance of “Not Over You,” had all three male coaches pining for him. He went with Adam as well, a coup for the singer. Stephanie Anne Johnson – Black Horse and the Cherry Tree (The Voice Blind Audition) Stephanie Anne Johnson, with a performance of “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree,” landed on Team Christina. But Cee Lo is already looking to steal. Sam Cerniglia – It’s a Beautiful Day (The Voice Blind Audition) Sam Cerniglia sang “It’s a Beautiful Day” and the Michael Buble song was a hit with Blake, whose team he joined. Cee Lo also turned around for Sam. Olivia Henken – Two Black Cadillacs (The Voice Blind Audition) Olivia Henken had Cee Lo and Christina vying for her services with a strong spin on “Two Black Cadillacs,” and Aguilera eventually won her over. R. Anthony – Hall of Fame (The Voice Blind Audition) R. Anthony would love to be standing in the “Hall of Fame” himself one day, and took the first step last night, opting for Cee Lo over Christina Aguilera. Justin Chain – She’s Country (The Voice) Justin Chain only got one chair to turn around on “She’s Country,” but one is all it takes, as Blake clearly liked his take on the Jason Aldean song. Ashley DuBose – Diamonds (The Voice Blind Audition) Ashley DuBose turned all four chairs with “Diamonds,” channeling Rihanna in tremendous fashion and picking Levine despite near unanimous begging. Amber Nicole, Emily Randolph & Keaira LaShae – The Voice Blind Auditions Keaira LaShae also landed with Green, while Aguilera recruited Amber Nicole, and Shelton seized Emily Randolph to finish off night four of Season 5. We can’t lose Little Richard . Little Richard Reveals He Suffered Heart Attack Get well soon. According to USA Today Little Richard says he had a heart attack last week, but credits God with pulling him through. Speaking with Cee Lo Green Sunday in Atlanta, the rock ‘n’ roll pioneer told an audience of about 150 people that a tour bus with a hospital bed in it had brought him to the event for the local chapter of the Recording Academy. The 80-year-old singer, born Richard Penniman in Macon, Ga., in 1932, initially didn’t realize he was having a heart attack last week, reports Rolling Stone. “I was coughing, and my right arm was aching,” he told Green. “I told my son, ‘Make the room as cold as ice.’ So he turned the air conditioning on, and I took a baby aspirin. The doctor told me that saved my life. Jesus had something for me. He brought me through.” One of the most popular rock stars of the 1950s, the piano-pounding musician’s hits include Tutti-Frutti, Long Tall Sally and Good Golly, Miss Molly. We’re glad to see he’s bouncing back.
He has kids??? Via FOXNews Former “American Idol” finalist Justin Guarini shocked many with a blog post this week, in which he detailed some of his financial troubles. But the singer clarified in a tweet posted Thursday that, though at times he’s “skipped meals,” he is “nowhere near poverty.” Still, his detailed and open blog post seemed to tell a different story. “There was a time when I wouldn’t have been concerned about the amazing expense of eating at place like Green Symphony,” he wrote. “Now, I budget. I have spent days skipping meals in order to make sure I have enough. To make sure my children, and my wife have enough.” And though the 34-year-old praised his loving family in the post, he admitted he is still having a tough time. “ I am struggling to make each day meet the next without breaking down and curling up. Sometimes I envy people who sit at a desk all day (at least you know where your next meal is coming from). I’ll smile, and laugh, and joke, and entertain…because sometimes it’s the only way to keep the ghosts of regret and loss at bay.” In the message to his fans, Guarini asked for their support and attention. “Now I tell you all this to reintroduce myself to you. As I am now. To take you with me on this new adventure, to hopefully regain and surpass all that I had before…but this time with a family.” Sorry Justin, but if you have “spent days skipping meals” then you are pretty damn near poverty.
