17 Actors Everyone HATES to Work With: Divas & Prima Donnas Galore!

When it comes to Hollywood rumors about celebrity behavior, many of them are just plain lies. But when you start to hear the same rumor over and over and over? Well, maybe there’s actually some truth to it. So let’s tackle the rumors about actors everyone hates to work with. Some of these stories are so bad it’s surprising these stars can find work at all. 17 Actors Everyone Hates to Work With 1. Katherine Heigl Katherine Heigl’s hard-to-work with waysled to her leaving Grey’s Anatomy. Katherine Heigl ‘s fall from grace was well-documented. In rant after rant, she attacked both her costars and the writers of  Grey’s Anatomy , making her Public Celebrity #1.  After disappearing from the limelight, Heigl is returning to television this fall on NBC’s  State of Affairs . She seems to have matured while spending time with her kids. Here’s hoping she doesn’t devolve into her Diva-like ways, but we’re not holding our breath. Either way, Katie is far from alone in the diva department … Director James Cameron is another Hollywood A-lister who has earned a reputation for being difficult, even if it’s become less of a media narrative. However, he keeps creating award-winning films, so the critical acclaim must be enough to convince stars to overcome his many criticisms while on set. And speaking of criticisms – racist, profanity-laden insults, really -no list of stars everyone hates to work with would be complete without a mention of Mel Gibson. Oh, man. Good ol’ Mel. His penchant for being difficult with absolutely everyone is not to be outdone. Except, perhaps, by the Warlock himself, Charlie Sheen.

Ellen Page: Topless For Flare Magazine!

Sure, Ellen Page came out as gay recently and has since heroically defended LGBT rights and helped make the world a safer, more comfortable place for young men and women who are questioning their sexuality, but clearly her biggest of late is taking her top off for Flare magazine! We kid. But seriously, Ellen clearly hit the gym hard for her role in X-Men Days of Future Past . She talks to Flare about reprising her role as Kitty Pryde in the highly anticipated summer film, but more importantly Ellen opens up about the challenges she faces as a gay woman working in Hollywood: “You hear things like, ‘People shouldn’t know about your life because you’re creating an illusion on-screen,” Ellen says. “But I don’t see other actresses going to great lengths to hide their heterosexuality. That’s an unfair double standard.” On struggling with her decision to come out, Ellen says, “I felt scared about people knowing. I felt awkward around gay people; I felt awkward about not being myself.” Since coming out, Ellen has eagerly embraced her role as a gay rights icon. Earlier this year Ellen’s response to anti-gay criticism on Twitter won her legions of new fans. Kristian Nairn, Game of Thrones Star, Comes Out as Gay

On Game of Thrones, Kristian Nairn simply says his character’s name all the time. But the actor said a lot more in a recent interview with Winter Is Coming, telling the fan site that he’s gay. The topic was broached after the interview told Nairn, who will next be seen on the HBO epic when Game of Thrones Season 4 premieres on April 6, that he has a large “Bear” following. “In all honesty, when you talk about ‘the gay community,’ you are talking about MY community,” Nairn said. “I AM aware of it, yeah, and I think it’s really lovely. “There’s not a day that I don’t get a few [negative] messages, but 99 percent or more are super sweet and nothing smutty at all! Again, it’s a privilege, and I really mean that.” The veteran actor added: “I’ve never hidden my sexuality from anyone, my whole life in fact, and I’ve been waiting for someone to ask about it in an interview, ’cause it’s not something you just blurt out. I’ve tried to lead the questions a few times, to no avail!” Well, welcome to the club now, Kristian. About a month ago,  Ellen Page came out during a Human Rights Campaign event and said she felt “a personal obligation and a social responsibility” to help others in her situation. Watch Grey’s Anatomy Online: Season 10 Episode 9

This week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy was a difficult one for Sara Ramirez’s Callie Torres, who was sued for malpractice and had to endure a tense day in court. Viewers were treated to the return of her dad (Hector Elizondo) and, via flashbacks, an intriguing revelation about Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), her estranged spouse. While it’s not likely to heal the wounds caused by Arizona’s cheating, what we learned did offer some new perspective on the event that shattered the pair’s union. What else went down on Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Episode 9 ? Grey’s Anatomy Season Premiere Recap: Most Intense Episode Ever?

Grey’s Anatomy returned for its 10th season with a two-hour premiere last night, and for fans who have stuck with the show, it was all they could hope for. Make-ups. Break-ups. Lighter moments and tragic ones. And probably the most intense first 15-20 minutes of any episode in Grey’s Anatomy history. Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Premiere Recap We start off with Bailey, the baby, and everybody fawning over him and his cute parents. That little baby MerDer has the fans swooning from the start. But the levity is short-lived. Callie lets everyone know that Arizona cheated on her, and she is not happy. Richard is missing and Shane is sent to find her. Then tragedy strikes. Shane pawns the task off on Heather, who discovers a semi-conscious Webber, but is electrocuted and dies herself on the spot. Shane ends up finding Heather and Webber, who is alive, but weak and needs surgery. Since he is childless and a widower, they must find his next-of-kin. That would be Meredith Grey. Meredith chose to go through with the operation, despite any misgivings, but Katherine Avery demands they stop, claiming his body can’t handle it. Bailey was adamant that Webber needed surgery. Katherine told Bailey the reason she is so determined is because she told him he was a “drunk.” In the end, it was up to Meredith to decide and she gives it the green light. Webber survives, and Grey’s fans are rewarded for holding out hope. As for Heather, there was no hope. The interns were given the night off and ordered to come up with nice stories to tell their colleague’s mother. Initially, they couldn’t come up with any. They didn’t think they were close. Guilt weighed heavily on Shane, for his obvious, indirect link to her death. Alex tells them that Cristina and Meredith, the only two left from the original Grey’s Anatomy intern class, are his family and that they are the same. Owen and Cristina broke up in the season finale, but they are far from over. They get it on multiple times as a way to “redo” their last time together. Jackson and April are done. For now. He breaks it off, and she accepts Matthew’s proposal, but one gets the sense that it’s not over for them either. Arizona and Callie made for some of the episode’s most heated moments, as Callie moved out and took little Sofia to Derek and Meredith’s house. Callie then refused to let Arizona even see Sofia. Cristina told her such actions are only hurting Sofia in the end. Think Calzona can weather this? Read TV Fanatic’s Grey’s Anatomy review for much more analysis!

ChitChatter: Hollyweird Swirler Ellen Pompeo Complains “The Emmy’s Felt So Dated… I Didn’t See Any Diversity At All!”

We weren’t the only ones who noticed blacks being shafted at this year’s Emmy Awards . “Grey’s Anatomy” actress Ellen Pompeo also pointed out the lily-whiteness of this Sunday’s ceremony in an interview afterwards. Via US Weekly reports : As the star of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, Ellen Pompeo has been to more than a few awards shows. She knows what she likes and doesn’t like — and she didn’t like the 65th Annual Emmys on Sunday, Sept. 22. “I didn’t see any diversity in the Emmys at all,” the actress, 43, said in an interview on Monday, Sept. 23, one day after the telecast. “The Emmys felt so dated to me…That dance number was embarrassing. Did you see one person of color in that dance number?” (Sunday’s show actually featured two dance numbers — one with Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, Sarah Silverman, and the Emmys Gold Dancers; and one choreographed by the nominees for Best Choreography. The latter featured interpretative dancing for several nominated shows, including Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, American Horror Story, and The Big Bang Theory.) Pompeo went on to say that, unlike the Emmys, Grey’s Anatomy prides itself on having a diverse ensemble of stars including Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Sara Ramirez, and Gaius Charles. “I’m extremely proud of our very, very diverse cast, which represents the world that I walk around in every day,” she said of the five-time Emmy-winning drama. “Grey’s” is definitely a diverse show but is anyone still watching it? Just sayin’! We do agree with Ellen that the Emmy’s could have done a better job representing diversity. SMH. Check out more photos of her swirly family below: WENN/FameFlynet Continue reading

Ron Burgundy to Release Memoir

We know he can play the flute. And woo women. And guzzle milk like a champ. But who knew Ron Burgundy could write?!? The beloved newscaster has announced that he will release a memoir in anticipation of Anchorman 2 . It will be titled “Let Me Off at the Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings” and it will hit book shelves on November 19. Teased Burgundy in a press release: “I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work. I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing…I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!” To paraphrase one of our favorite Anchorman quotes , we’d rather take it to a glass case of emotion. Maybe while eating a wheel of cheese.
