Justin Bieber, The Wanted Fans Camp Out In Rain For Friday Shows

‘He’s the only person I’d sleep on the ground for,’ one Belieber tells MTV News two days before ‘Today’ show concert. By Uptin Saiidi Justin Bieber Photo: Ethan Miller/ Getty Images NEW YORK — A little rain couldn’t stop die-hard Beliebers and fans of the Wanted fans from camping out to snag front-row spots for their fave acts. On Wednesday afternoon (June 13), approximately 50 Justin Bieber admirers staked out territory outside Rockefeller Center, gearing up for Bieber’s ‘Today’ show performance — two days from now, on Friday morning. Meanwhile, several blocks away, a handful of fans also laid out their sleeping bags outside the Best Buy Theater in anticipation of the Wanted ‘s ticketed Friday night show. MTV News caught up with fans today, they told us a little rain wouldn’t hurt because they came well prepared with sleeping bags, umbrellas and jackets, including a pair of sisters from New Jersey were third in the line for Biebs. “We came to the ‘Today’ show last November, but we were way, way in the back, so we got out front this time,” Hayley, 17, said. “And we’re going to see him this time because he’s amazing and beautiful.” Still, the continuous rain and cloudy weather was making it less than ideal for camping out on the New York City pavement. “The rain has been a big issue because I really don’t like getting my hair wet, honestly, but everybody here has been pretty good,” she added. “We just have umbrellas, because we’re not allowed to have tents.” When it comes to using the bathrooms, the fans were getting creative. “We use the bathroom in the parking garage where our car is,” Hayley noted. “We don’t really have anywhere else to go, so we go wherever we can get in.” Yasmin, 13, was using Twitter to pass the time … and keep constant updates on Justin. “While we’re waiting for Justin, we’re basically on Twitter, reading his tweets and everything.” A valuable way to pass the time, considering Bieber tweeted just today that he’ll be bringing along a special guest for his NBC appearance. Another way fans were passing the time was to make friends with their fellow fans. “All the Beliebers are here, it’s kind of like one giant party in the street, so it’s been good,” Amanda, 15, said.”When he comes out onstage, it’s just going to hit us and he’s just going to be right there, like, practically singing to us,” she gushed. “He’s my idol; he’s the only person I’d sleep on the ground for, for two nights.” Meanwhile, a few blocks away at Times Square’s Best Buy Theater, about half a dozen Wanted fans from Staten Island (who already had tickets) waited with coloring books, in hopes of making sure they’d be in the front row. The Wanted fans seemed a bit luckier than Bieber fans in that they had an awning to camp out under. “The rain it’s been all right. We’ve managed, we have umbrellas, sleeping bags, coats, everything, so it’s been pretty OK,” Melissa, 24, said. “It’s worth it because the energy they provide onstage is worth being front row, I don’t know how to describe it, it’s a different feeling than if you were in the back,” Melissa further explained. When asked how she’d feel when the guys finally take to the stage Friday night, she smiled, “We’ll feel relief. Relief and excitement.” Would you camp out in the rain to see your favorite singer? Goons Kidnap Pregnant Lady, Set Her On Fire, Then Shoot Her Up: Plays Dead To Survive [Video]

Pregnant Woman Plays Dead After Being Kidnapped And Shot If the world doesn’t end in 2012… we are in for some deep problems. Because, people of the world today are crazy and doing anything to anybody: A 22-year-old pregnant woman and her unborn baby are alive expected to live after being kidnapped, set on fire and shot in Warren, Mich., police said. The woman, who is nine months pregnant, told police she was dropping her ex-boyfriend at his new girlfriend’s home early Saturday morning after seeing a drive-in movie. After they pulled into the garage and got out of the car, the garage door closed unexpectedly, she told police. “The next thing she knew she was grabbed by the throat and a gun was put to her head,” Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green told ABC News affiliate WXYZ-TV in Detroit. “She was ordered to the ground.” Duct tape was placed over her mouth and wrapped around her hands and feet, and she was blindfolded, before being put back into her car and driven to an alley in Detroit, Green said. “She didn’t know where she was at the time,” Warren police Sgt. Dave Geffert told the Detroit Free Press. The man who kidnapped her indicated that it was because of her pregnancy. “[The suspect] said ‘you know why this is happening’ and then he asked her about how far along she was,” Green said. The woman told police she felt liquid being poured on her, heard a match strike and then was set on fire. “She was able to get out of the car and start rolling on the ground, trying to put the fire out,” Green said. “And when that happened, two shots were fired and she was struck once in the back.” The woman played dead, and the man left, police said. “Right after the assailant had shot her, he fled the scene,” Geffert told the Free Press. “I’m saying ‘he’ because she reported a male voice, unknown description.” She freed herself from the duct tape and drove to her mother’s house in Detroit. Her mother took her to the hospital. Police took the woman’s ex-boyfriend into custody on Saturday and named him a person of interest in the case. He had not called 911 when she was kidnapped, police said. A possible motive is the boyfriend not wanting another baby, police said. An ultrasound performed after the attack showed the baby is healthy, police said, and the woman is expected to recover. Turn the page for the full video report.

Jesus Take The Wheel: Bad Weather Causes Plane Crash In Pakistan, All 127 Passengers And Crew Feared Dead

This is so sad. Bhoja Air Flight Crashes In Pakistan, All 127 Passengers Feared Dead A Pakistani passenger jet with 127 people on board crashed into wheat fields Friday as it was trying to land in a thunder storm at an airport near the capital Islamabad. Sobbing relatives of those on the flight flocked to the airport, and officials said there appeared to be no survivors. Emergency workers used flashlights to search among the smoldering wreckage of the fuselage, smashed seats and body parts for any sign of life at the crash site, which was just a few kilometers (miles) from the Benazir Bhutto International Airport. One rescue official asked villagers to bring him sheets to cover the dead. The aircraft was a Boeing 737-200 operated by Bhoja Air, a domestic carrier that has just four planes and only resumed operations last month after suspending them in 2001 due to financial difficulties. The flight was traveling from the country’s largest city of Karachi to the Pakistani capital, officials said. It was the airline’s first evening flight from Karachi, according to a Bhoja Air official. “I saw nothing but body parts and twisted metal on the ground when reached the scene,” said local resident Mustafa, who only gave one name. “We collected up small pieces of human flesh and bundled them in cloth sheets like we collect grain.” Islamabad police chief Bani Yameen said that nobody on the ground appeared to be killed, “but apparently all onboard perished.” Civil aviation officials also reported survivors were unlikely, said Defense Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar. A violent rain, wind and thunder storm was lashing the capital at the time of the crash, which occurred about 6:40 p.m. local time. “It was really bad weather for a flight,” said Navy captain Arshad Mahmood, who lives near the crash site. “The pilot was forced to move down to avoid clouds that were generating the lightening and thunder.” Bhoja Air started domestic operations in Pakistan in 1993 and eventually expanded to international flights to the United Arab Emirates in 1998. The company suspended operations in 2001 due to financial difficulties but resumed them in 2012. In a statement, the Boeing Co. extended its condolences to the families of the victims and offered technical assistance to Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority. The skies sure ain’t always friendly. R.I.P. to all the passengers aboard. Our hearts go out to their loved ones. Source AFP PHOTO/AAMIR QURESHI/GettyImages More On Bossip!
