Kate Moss Does Charity Show for Haiti of the Day

I would have thought Kate Moss would have been more into doing charity work for HIV, you know since she’s had sex with so many needle sharing heroin users over the course of her life and career, cuz dirty rockstar cock is her thing, making her at risk for the shit and maybe she knows it or that she has it and hasn’t made it public and that’s the real reason she’s doing this good deed, you know to rack up some brownie points in case their is a God and she needs to counter him when he greets her at the gates with a list of shit she’s done that makes her the vile fucking girl that matches her vile fucking vagina destined for hell….you know the whole bad mother, drug user, cheater, pig who did nothing good for society cuz she was too self absorbed only for her to say “but there was that Haiti charity thing, remember that?”……kinda thing…. Lindsay Lohan Needs To Unzip That Cleavage

Here’s Lindsay Lohan at the Brit Celebration In Aid Of Haiti event held the other night in England wearing an outfit that you’d expect to see on one of the figure skaters in Vancouver. I know a lot of people seem to have caught Olympic fever, but this is ridiculous, you don’t see me walking around in a skin tight body suit that looks like a tuxedo… At least not in public. Actually, I kinda like her outfit, I want to see her perform a triple sow cow. Hot.

Kris Allen Plans Haiti Visit For ‘American Idol’ Fundraiser

Last year’s winner will appear on the show next week to share footage of his trip and perform. By Katie Byrne Kris Allen Photo: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images Kris Allen will appear on “American Idol” next week to help raise money for Haiti, it was announced Wednesday (February 17). Last year’s “Idol” winner has partnered with the United Nations Foundation to take a trip to the earthquake-ravaged country, and he will share footage from his visit and perform on the February 25 results show. Allen will head to Haiti on February 19 to meet with U.N. staff and Haitian people to find out what the country will need to recover in the coming months. Fox told The Associated Press that viewers will be asked to make donations online or by text-messaging during the “Idol” episode, with the money going to the Idol Gives Back Foundation to help support the U.N. Foundation’s work in Haiti. “I’m looking forward to traveling to Haiti to see the U.N.’s work firsthand,” Allen said in a statement. “The people of Haiti are rebuilding their country, and the U.N. is there to help them every step of the way. I look forward to sharing the images and stories from my trip with ‘Idol’ viewers across the country.” The appearance is part of the show’s “Idol Gives Back” charity effort, with the full “Idol Gives Back” episode airing April 21. The charity show took a break last season due to the pressure of producing that show along with the finale. “Idol” judge Randy Jackson suggested that this year’s “Idol Gives Back” might benefit Haiti, and it looks like that is part of the plan. ‘We Are The World’ Debuts At #2 On Billboard Hot 100

Charity single falls just behind Ke$ha’s ‘Tik Tok.’ By Jayson Rodriguez LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, Swizz Beatz, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and will.i.am perform “We Are the World” Photo: Kevin Mazur/ Wire Image Despite some big-name detractors , “We Are the World: 25 for Haiti” debuts at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart just days after the all-star charity single premiered during the televised opening of the Vancouver Winter Olympics. The song, a remake of the Michael Jackson- and Lionel Richie-powered original, was only bested by Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok,” which tops the chart for the ninth straight week. The “WATW” remake produced by RedOne and featuring the collective Artist for Haiti — a group that comprises a number of musicians and actors, including Jamie Foxx, Justin Bieber, Pink, Usher, Kanye West and Celine Dion, among others — is the latest charity effort to rise on the charts. The Hope for Haiti Now album , which featured covers by artists like Justin Timberlake and an original song by Jay-Z, U2’s Bono and The Edge, Swizz Beatz and Rihanna, topped the Billboard 200 album chart. The project was the first all-digital album to land at the top of the charts. Both Hope for Haiti Now and the “We Are the World” remake provide much-needed funds for various Haitian earthquake relief efforts . The new “We Are the World” video was helmed by Oscar-winning director Paul Haggis, who described the shoot as “chaos” but noted it was a remarkable experience. “You hear these stories about people checking their egos at the door, and it really is true,” Haggis told MTV News. “They came and stood forever and were glorified extras a lot of the time. They just stood in the corner and waved. It was hot and it was crowded. When there’s chaos, there’s friction. Where there’s fiction, there’s drama, and I knew I’d have fun things to shoot. Unfortunately, there wasn’t as much drama as I expected. People really got along very well.” Related Videos Behind The Scenes Of ‘We Are The World’ Related Photos ‘We Are The World 25 For Haiti’ Recording Session

‘We Are The World’ Soloists Lil Wayne, Pink Take Cues From The Original

For the Haiti-benefiting remake, Mary J. Blige channels Tina Turner and Celine Dion includes a Cyndi Lauper-esque vocal run. By Maura Johnston Lil Wayne performs at the “We Are The World 25 Years for Haiti” Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage “We Are the World” and its Haiti-benefiting remake both brought a galaxy of pop stars under one roof for charity. Put the two songs side by side, and you can see why certain singers were offered verses that were originally laid down by some of the 1980s’ most prominent musicians. The most talked-about torch-passing in the days leading up to the song’s release was Lil Wayne being given a verse originally ad-libbed by rock icon Bob Dylan . Wayne and Dylan’s voices share a distinctly buzzy quality, although in the finished product Weezy’s delivery was smoothed over by Auto-Tune and backed by Carlos Santana’s furious guitar playing. But from the first verse — in which Justin Bieber takes over for “We Are the World” co-writer Lionel Richie to sing “There comes a time/ When we heed a certain call” — to the song’s ending, in which Wyclef Jean toasts Haiti over the song’s chorus fading out, there are other notable vocal parallels. Jennifer Hudson more than ably performed a verse originally sung by Stevie Wonder; Pink, singing a line originally taken on by former Journey lead singer Steve Perry, played up the rock elements of her gritty voice; and Mary J. Blige paid tribute to pioneering R&B singer Tina Turner with her take on Turner’s 1985 performance. The big-voiced Celine Dion was given a verse originally wailed by outlandish pop star Cyndi Lauper, who ad-libbed an octave-leaping “whoa, whoa, whoa” in the lead-in to her verse, and Dion paid dutiful homage to that iconic vocal run. Barbra Streisand stepped in for a fellow diva, Diana Ross, on the lines “There’s a choice we’re making/ We’re saving our own lives/ It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me.” And Miley Cyrus sang a line originally performed by Dionne Warwick with pitch-perfect inflection. Two singers paid homage to vocalists who appeared on the 1985 version of the track: Adam Levine used his verse to channel Stevie Wonder. (Levine’s verse was performed originally by pop/rock singer Kenny Loggins), and Jamie Foxx re-created some of the ad-libs performed by soul pioneer Ray Charles. That’s nothing new for Foxx, since he won an Oscar for his portrayal of the pianist/singer in the 2004 film “Ray.” Finally, the late Michael Jackson’s vocal contributions to “We Are the World” remained intact, with his sister Janet singing along to the tracks he laid down for the song’s original release. Jackson co-wrote the song with Richie in 1985. Related Videos Behind The Scenes Of ‘We Are The World’ Related Photos ‘We Are The World 25 For Haiti’ Recording Session Related Artists Pink Lil Wayne
