My name is Nicole and I’m 17 from Adelaide, Australia .  My love for Justin started back when I saw his ‘So Sick’ video of in 2009.  From then on my love has just grown and I have always been known has “The girl who loves Justin Bieber.”   My Bieber experience happened on the 17 th of July 2012.  Justin was coming down to Australia to promote Believe and for weeks there had been competitions on the radio to win tickets to his live and intimate gig – the only show he was doing here and the only way to get in was to win tickets.  This show was in Sydney and I live in Adelaide so I knew I had really limited chances of winning tickets but I still tried.  I always considered myself as one of the most unlucky people and never thought I could actually have a chance at winning. The competition ran for a week to get on the standby list and then was drawn on the Friday.  These were the only tickets available in all of Adelaide so I thought my chances were pretty low. On Thursday morning I finally got through to the station and had to answer a question: Who is Justin Bieber’s current girlfriend? SO EASY I KNOW! Of course I got it right and was put on the standby list.  I couldn’t sleep all night knowing that the next day I would find out if it was me who was going to Sydney. I had a 1 in 4 chance and that Friday morning I got the phone call that I had won!! I could not believe it; these sorts of things just didn’t happen to me! I got to take my friend Jennifer and my mum.  The next Tuesday we were on the flight to Sydney and I was so excited. That day dragged on forever waiting for the show until we finally we got there at about 5:30 p.m.  As soon as the bus pulled up to the show I saw Kenny outside talking to one of the DJs! I couldn’t believe this was actually to me, that I was going to a private Justin bieber gig. THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN MY DREAMS! We finally got inside and luckily got right to the front. When Justin finally came out I was in a state of shock, I couldn’t believe how close I was to him or how perfect he was in real life. He started off talking to the crowd for a while and then sang songs from Believe, acoustically.  I was in awe of his voice and how much it had changed since I heard him live at the My World Tour. The kid responded to the guys invitation to scrap… with an “OK.” (This Happened In July) An online fight led to an in-person attack for a young man in Oakley, and he ended up with nearly two dozen stab wounds. This stabbing all started with a conversation on an Xbox Live headset that allegedly set a 17-year-old off, not with a joystick, but with a real knife and gun. Kevin Kemp, 20, didn’t mind showing the scars from his battle Monday. There are 22 stab wounds now stitched back up. That was the end result of what started as an exchange with a family friend online. “We were just talking over headsets,” Kemp said. But this was no virtual violence. Their Xbox banter turned bitter. Kemp says the anger had nothing to do with a game. It was a continued feud with his friend that inflamed. “I’m like, ‘Bro, if want to do this, come over to my house and we’ll do this right now,’” Kemp said. That friend left the headset behind, then suddenly entered Kemp’s front door. He reportedly pushed his way past Kemp’s mom, knife and gun in hand. “Walks up to my room and he points the gun right at me and takes out the clip and shows his bullet, puts it back in the gun, tries to shoot me and he shot it and it went right past my head,” Kemp said. “Almost hit me.” After the gunshot, the knife attack. Then came the paramedics. “We were standing out here when they carried him out,” neighbor Dylan Fulkerson said. “He was covered in blood, he was on the stretcher and what not.” Kemp will be OK, but his friendship is likely finished. Police are calling it a first. “It’s kind of unusual in that regard,” said Jimmy Lee of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department. “Haven’t heard of something happening online, whether it was playing games or chatting, that led to an attack like this. An escalating Xbox exchange with no reset button for this real-life run-in. Now it could be game over for the teen who went on the attack. He’s facing one charge of burglary and two counts of attempted murder and the DA’s office said he will be charged as an adult. Sorry, ladies. But it sounds like Justin Bieber really is that dreamy. In the latest issue of Elle , Selena Gomez is hesitant to open up too much about her relationship, but she does share one story with the magazine about just how lucky she is to be dating the Biebs. “He really is a hopeless romantic,” Gomez says. “I had just mentioned it in the car – all I said is that I really want to see Titanic again, and then…” … this happened . Among other topics discussed by Selena in the interview: Growing up in poverty : “I can remember about seven times when our car got stuck on the highway because we’d run out of gas money… [but my mom still] saved up to take me to concerts. She took me to museums, aquariums, to teach me about the world, about what’s real.” Working with Disney: “[It] is a machine, so people automatically assume that you can’t work for the channel unless you act and sing and dance and sign up for all that. That’s absolutely not true. I always did everything the way I wanted to do it.” Choosing roles : “I get offered the teenybopper movies, and I’ve done that. I haven’t done a mega-hundred-billion-dollar Transformers movie, but that’s not what I want to do either.”

Sherri Shepherd Defends Chris Brown on The View, Calls Singer a "Role Model"

Sherri Shepherd is on Team Breezy. The View host has been vocal in defense of Chris Brown before, so it’s no surprise that she stood up for the star in the wake of this week’s Grammy lovefest backlash . All Brown did was show up at the award show, perform and win. No controversy at all. Yet his mere presence at the event after his 2009 attack on Rihanna upset many. While Shepherd criticized female fans who Tweet about how they’d let Chris beat them all night (among other things), Shepherd defended Brown from criticism. He may even be a role model, she says. Why? Sherri Shepherd Defends Chris Brown “There may be a child in a situation of going through abuse that Chris Brown has gone through. His mother was abused right in front of his very eyes six years before this happened to Rihanna. He used to wet his pants from the fear,” Shepherd says. “He was a victim! He became an offender. He did what the courts told him to do. He went to 52 weeks, a year of domestic prevention counseling.” That’s all true, and she makes a strong case. But on the flip side, critics will point to the (perceived) utter lack of responsibility Brown has taken for his actions. Behind-the-scenes blowups, arrogance and a lack of remorse (real or otherwise) contribute to the lack of forgiveness in people’s eyes. Not heartlessness. What do you think?
