There is apparently no end to Lilo & Stitch creator Chris Sanders’ talents, from doing a great Nicolas Cage impression to braving the bitter cold at the NYC premiere of The Croods – with no jacket! Just how impressed was Ryan Reynolds with Sanders? “This is my first animated movie I’ve ever done, and I was doing one subsequently right afterwards and I learned so much from [the directors] that I shifted the sessions in the next animated movie to feel more like this one!” The Croods is director Chris Sanders’ second film for Dreamworks Animation, where he defected to after clashing with Disney over American Dog. ( The title became Bolt after his departure). Is he still enjoying his new home? “Every film we make we get, like, better technology — so even better!” Plus he’s already hard at work on How To Train Your Dragon 2 . But his co-writer and director, Kirk De Micco, chimed in to say there was one area where Dreamworks Animation struggled — creating digital tar! The request threw the animators for a loop. “How deep is the tar?! How sticky is the tar?! Does it stick to their clothes?!” Good thing Sanders and De Micco were there to answer their questions. In a surprising (and yet somehow not surprising) twist, Lindsay Lohan struck a plea deal with prosecutors, avoiding jail in her lying-to-cops case … for now. Lindsay will be headed to rehab and must do community labor but will avoid major jail time, provided she complies the the terms of her probation. Yeah, we all know how that goes. The star showed up 48 minutes late (obviously) to face the music, and despite having rejected a plea deal earlier this month, agreed to the following terms: 90 days of in-patient, lockdown rehab 30 days of community labor 18 months of psychotherapy 2 more years of probation In concluding the proceedings, the judge told Lindsay “don’t drive” and “this is it” regarding probation. Next time, there will be no hearing. Just jail. It’s amazing she avoided it in this case, to be honest. For one, there’s a mandatory five-day jail sentence for reckless driving, but it’s going to be folded into her rehab; she won’t be behind bars even for a day. She also admitted to violating probation in her jewelry heist case, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail as a result … but that sentence was stayed. If Lindsay Lohan completes probation, it’ll disappear. Lohan was charged with reckless driving and lying to a police officer about a June 2012 car crash in which her Porsche crashed in to a dump truck. Her arrest triggered the probation violation charge. The actress entered pleas of no contest on two misdemeanor charges relating to the traffic accident, and she did not challenge that she violated probation. Lohan acknowledged her drug and alcohol addiction in past court appearances. She’s spent 250 days in five rehab facilities since January 2007. The Bachelor’s Sean Lowe says he’s in it to win it on Dancing With the Stars, and credits fiancee Catherine Giudici with keeping him in the groove. “I couldn’t ask for a better fiancee, because she’s understanding that I have to put it in a lot of hours here but she’s rooting for me,” he told E! News. “She’s in my corner. She’s going to be in the front row cheering me on.” Sean’s DWTS debut will be the first time she’s seen him dance, too. “I want it to be a big reveal ,” Lowe says of his performance tonight. “She keeps asking for me to show her clips on my iPhone and stuff, but I just want her to wait and for her jaw to drop and go, ‘Woah, where did Sean learn how to do that?!'” As for his routine, Sean promises there will be an “attention-grabber.” All we can hope is that DWTS continues The Bachelor’ s gratuitous displays of Sean Lowe shirtless, right ladies? Singer has reportedly enlisted fashion guru Jean-Paul Gaultier to design the costumes for the tour, which kicks off May 29. That means she’s working hard on getting every aspect of the show just right, from the music to the design to the looks. Given that Madonna is famous for her spectacular stage shows, fans of the glitzy singer have high expectations for the jaunt, which will kick off on May 29 in Tel Aviv, and will wrap around the globe before planting Stateside on August 28 in Philadelphia. When MTV News caught up with singer at the launch of her Truth or Dare perfume in New York City , she revealed that fans should expect this latest excursion to be just as eye-catching as the ones that came before. “Amazing music, incredible dancing, the team of people that I worked with for the Super Bowl is working with me on this as well,” she explained about the show, which she is currently rehearsing for. And, in the end, she hopes it will be “a feast for the eyes and the ears.” Given how decadent her Roman- and Egyptian-themed Super Bowl performance was, full of acrobatics, sparkling costumes and enough diva-tude to make Cleopatra jealous, it seems that Madge is taking all the right steps to capture that eye-popping essence for her traveling stage show. With a set list floating around that includes tracks like fan favorites “Secret” and “Deeper and Deeper,” as well as new tracks like “Turn Up the Radio” and “Girl Gone Wild,” she’s even enlisted her longtime fashion guru, Jean-Paul Gaultier, to design the costumes for the tour, according to Pink Is The New Blog . He’s worked with her on her Confessions Tour, her Re-Invention Tour, the Drowned World Tour and her Blond Ambition Tour. He’s also the man who designed her famous cone bra. It seems that the Queen of Pop will rule Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum starting at the end of this month through mid-May, according to Newsday . The pop singer and her team are rumored to have rented out the space to rehearse, but she has no plans to stop there during the tour. Madge dropped her album, MDNA , last month.
