Kate Middleton, the People’s Princess, is a down-to-earth girl by all accounts … except in this taxi commercial from China that parodies her as the opposite. In the clip, a Kate lookalike stands outside with a fax Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II, complaining, “I didn’t marry royalty to schlep around in a taxi.” They do look a bit like Will and Kate, too. The Queen impostor? Not so much. Panda Cabs Commercial Spoofs Kate Middleton William attempts to reason with his beautiful wife, “But darling, Granny is right. The commoners want to see us tightening our belts and all that.” “Rubbish, people want to see that they can be like us if they just work hard,” Kate responds. The Queen then mockingly asks, “Like you did?” Ohhh! “Now, now, Granny,” William says. “We all know that it’s I who fell for Kate.” “That’s right, I didn’t even fancy him at first,” the faux Kate Middleton says. “Don’t you remember? You had to practically beg me for my phone number.” Fortunately, of course, Wills had Panda Cab on speed-dial. Within seconds, a car appears, whisking the trio away to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Pregnant Snooki is preparing hardcore for her impending arrival. She’s quit drinking, she’s cut back on partying and she’s no longer tanning. She’s even getting practice with a stroller … transporting a 30-pack of Coors Light. If there were ever a picture worth 1,000 words … Sporting hot pink shades, a big brown shirt reading BOSS and her growing baby bump, Snooki looked more or less like her usual strollin’ in Seaside Heights, N.J. Ann Curry will be fired from The Today Show any moment now. So reports TMZ, which claims the anchor and the NBC morning program are simply haggling over contract details . Curry is owed $20 million over the next two years and reportedly wants to pocket that dough and take her walking papers, while the network wants to give her half that amount and stick her as a foreign correspondent. Either way, Savannah Guthrie has already struck a deal with Today and will take over for Curry as soon as she leaves, which prompts the obvious question: Which reporter would you rather… watch?

Less than a week after saying she was still together with John Edwards , Rielle Hunter now says she and the disgraced politician are no longer a couple. Apparently they broke up within the last few days. “We are a family, but as of the end of last week, John Edwards and I are no longer a couple,” she said on today’s Good Morning America . “Not at all.” Rielle Hunter , who has a daughter, Quinn, 4, with John, said she still loves the two-time presidential candidate, who was seen at her beach house last week. As for whether that feeling is mutual, “You have to ask him,” said Hunter, whose covert relationship with Edwards was exposed and led to his political downfall. “I really think he does.” “I fell in love with a married man and became something I wasn’t in order to be with him,” Hunter gushed last week, while promoting her new book. Rielle would not reveal who initiated the split with the former U.S. Senator from North Carolina, only, “We decided to end it. It’s hard. It’s painful.”

A serious car wreck left 50 Cent hospitalized with possible injuries to his neck and back, according to a website affiliated with the rapper, This is 50. The crash involved his SUV and a mack truck, apparently. It happened early this morning on the Long Island Expressway just outside N.Y. City. The truck rear-ended 50’s SUV, which “almost flipped over.” The star was taken a nearby hospital, where, according to the site, doctors ran tests on his neck and back. Fortunately, he checked out fine. A rep for Curtis Jackson (50’s real name) confirms: “He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine.” Good to hear. Hopefully he recovers quickly and fully from the scary incident. In other 50 news, the rapper recently quashed his beef with Oprah .
