Sienna Miller: Done With Ben Affleck … Dating Brad Pitt?!

Sienna Miller may have never achieved household name as an actress, but if you toss out the male-female double standard and give credit where its due for bedding the best and brightest A-listers, then Sienna is a living legend. Yes, the official list now goes: Chamberlain, Nicholson, Brando, McQueen, Hefner … Miller. Actually, there are two Millers, because Arthur Miller deserves utmost props for banging Marilyn Monroe as a playwright. Anyway, Sienna has conducted high-profile relationships with Jude Law, Tom Sturridge, and Balthazar Getty (who was married at the time, but we’re not here to judge). Back in late 2015/early 2016, it was rumored that Miller dated Ben Affleck following his split from Jennifer Garner. The two filmed Live By Night together, and sources say they really hit it off on set. But either the relationship fizzled or it never really began, because Ben and Sienna went their separate ways not long after they finished promoting the film. But it doesn’t really matter, because these days, Sienna’s got bigger fish to fry. In fact, she’s reportedly been getting cozy with the most coveted newly-single fish in the sea. According to UK tabloid The Sun (so take this with all the grains of salt), Sienna is dating Brad Pitt. Sources say they’re not flirting, not hooking up, not canoodling (whatever the hell that means), but full-blown dating. An insider tells the publication that Sienna is giddy with excitement, but keeping things under wraps for the sake of Brad’s privacy: “It’s early days, but they are very into each other and enjoying a carefree, casual summer romance,” says the source. “They’re both absolutely determined to keep everything under wraps. Their goal is to explore things without any massive publicity. It could all fizzle out, so they’re waiting to see.” It’s worth noting that multiple tabloids claimed Brad was getting back together with Jennifer Aniston like two days ago, so you really have to wait and see with these rumors. But Brad and Sienna would make a lot of sense. (Certainly more so than Brad and Jen, what with Jen being married and all.) View Slideshow: 13 Reasons to Be Glad You Never Slept With Brad Pitt And hey, even if Brad and Sienna only hooked up once, she’s still basically cemented her place as this generation’s most stone cold lady pimp. Feel free to proceed to the comments to inform us of how wildly offensive the term “lady pimp” is.

Michael Bond Dies; Paddington Bear Creator Was 91

You can be aware of something your whole life without knowing anything about its creator. Paddington Bear’s creator, Michael Bond, has died at age 91. He passed away at home after a brief illness. On December 24th, 1956, Michael Bond noticed a lonely-looking stuffed bear sitting on a shelf. On impulse, he bought it for his wife. Inspired, he wrote A Bear Called Paddington in just 10 days. On October 13th, 1958, that book was published. But that was only the beginning. Paddington Bear’s adventures in books have been ongoing. The last story about the marmalade-loving bear, titled Paddington’s Finest Hour , came out in April. It’s not uncommon for authors to keep publishing until their dying days. Needless to say, it’s very rare for an author to continue writing for 61 years. Not to mention having such a degree of success and a cultural impact that spans the globe. Michael Bond had an Order Of The British Empire, which is like an Order of Merlin from Harry Potter, except real. (I was a kid when Harry Potter came out and there are a lot of things that I thought were wizard things that turned out to just be British) The Duke of Cambridge himself presented Bond with the award in an Investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace. This was only two years ago. HarperCollins issued a statement about Michael Bond’s passing: “It is with great sadness that we announce that Michael Bond, CBE, the creator of one of Britain’s best-loved children’s characters, Paddington, died at home yesterday aged 91 following a short illness.” Michael Bond’s own daughter, Karen Jankel, also spoke about her late father: “It’s a shock to everybody. For me, he was the most wonderful father you can imagine, so obviously our loss is personal.” Of course. So many people think of their favorite singers or actors or writers with regard to their art, celebrity status, and creations. It’s too easy to forget that they’re real people with families and personal relationships that have nothing to do with their craft. Karen, however, seems very aware of her father’s global cultural impact, and her statement includes a nod to that: “But it’s wonderful that he’s left the legacy of his books and Paddington that will live on for ever, which is really very special.” “The whole world is lucky to have had him … Paddington himself is so real to all of us. He’s still a part of our family and we’re very lucky.” We can’t imagine how hard it is to to tailor your response to fans while you’re still grieving. Karen Jankel continues, honoring her father’s work. “For him, writing was his life. It was wonderful he could continue writing until the end,” she said. “Because … Paddington and his other characters were so real to him, he became alive to everybody else.” But she doesn’t leave out his character. “You can tell just by reading his books what a lovely person he was. I never came across anybody who disliked my father.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam “He was one of those people that people instinctively warmed to and he was as funny as a person and delightful as he was in his writing and as a father.” That is incredibly touching. A lot of people grew up with Paddington Bear, and most of them are old enough to appreciate the joy that this man’s creation brought them as children. Future children will enjoy Paddington Bear all the same — that’s the magic of creating a legacy like that.

Brad Pitt Takes Chris Cornell’s Kids to Universal Studios, Gives Us All the Feels

Folks, no matter where you fall on the political spectrum, we think it’s safe to say it’s been a bit of a tumultuous year. Sure, 2017 hasn’t hit quite as hard as 2016 in terms of untimely celebrity deaths , but as we approach the halfway mark, there’s no question that some of the bonafide greats have shuffled off this mortal coil. Just two weeks ago, for example, the music world was shocked by the death of Chris Cornell , the iconic Soundgarden and Audioslave singer who passed at just 52 years of age. Cornell had many famous friends, and he’s been widely mourned both in Hollywood and in the Seattle music scene that he helped to create. Among the most recognizable of the late legend’s A-list buddies is Brad Pitt. Pitt was said to be devastated by Cornell’s death , and sources say he sank into deep depression upon hearing the news. Word of Cornell’s passing reportedly reached Pitt within 48 hours of the death of Brad Grey , one of Pitt’s oldest friends and longtime business partner. As you probably know, it had been a rocky few months for the newly single (and newly sober) screen icon, and losing two close friends back-to-back could have easily pushed Brad into a dangerous downward spiral. But it seems Pitt’s a stronger believer that sometimes, the best way to help yourself is to reach out and help someone else: That’s Brad with Cornell’s two youngest children, 12-year-old Toni and 11-year-old Christopher, at the Universal Studios theme park in LA. The trio reportedly hit up the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where they were spotted sipping on Butter Beers. (Unlike the beverages served up at the Three Broomsticks, Universal’s Butter Beer is entirely N/A.) Little is known about Brad and the kids’ visit to the park, but we imagine Pitt simply wanted to do something nice for some kids who recently lost their dad. It’s not gonna bring Chris back, or solve any of the world’s major problems, but the gesture no doubt made a tremendous difference two young people going through a difficult time. Let’s all take a moment to reflect on the impact that a single kind gesture can have in the confusing and chaotic universe we all inhabit. Okay, cool. Now that that’s over, you can get back to flaming each other on Twitter. View Slideshow: Chris Cornell: Mourned, Remembered by Stars Everywhere

Eliza Cummings has a duty to live up to her name…by doing all she can in her low to mid level modeling to contribute to as many people CUMMING as possible, it’s her namesake.
