Inspired by the questions surrounding Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston , we've compiled a list of famous couples who may have just been smiling for camera… … or who may have just been putting on a pretend happy face. 1. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes The classic example. Most people believe Holmes was selected by Scientology higher-ups who have always controlled Cruise’s love life. The way these two have acted since their split only serves to highlight this rumor. 2. Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron Hmmm… was it a coincidence that the romance between these High School Musical stars lasted basically as long as that Disney movie franchise? 3. Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough Seacrest started dating Hough soon after rumors sprang up that questioned his heterosexuality. After they split, Ryan allegedly bought his ex a $3 million mansion… as a thank you? 4. Taylor Swift and Harry Styles Some folks believe Swift jumped in while the One Direction iron as hot with Styles, pretending she was dating the rising boy band singer before he truly made it big. Those stage photo ops only served to fuel this rumor. 5. John Travola and Kelly Preston These two have been married for years and have kids together. But gay rumors continue to follow Travolta around, making many think Preston has simply agreed to be his “beard.” 6. Shailene Woodley and Theo James They never came out as a couple. Harry Styles CHOPS OFF Hair for the Best Reason

Ever since Harry Styles first hit the scene with One Direction, he’s been known as “the one with the hair.” His debut ‘do was this floppy, mussy, kinda cah-razy mop that went in all directions, but he and his adorable baby face somehow pulled it off. Remember this? In recent years, he grew out his tresses, and it was getting pretty Rapunzel-like for a minute there. But it’s all gone now. Or, at least, a good portion of it. Just check out this alarming pic of his chopped-off braid he posted to Instagram. “Whoops,” he wrote in the caption, along with the hashtag #littleprincesstrust Fans are going absolutely berzerkeroo, posting comments like, “OMG I’M F**KING SCREAMING” and “I WILL DIE.” But there’s more to Harry than just hair, folks, because that hashtag up there actually meant something.  The boy bander is donating his locks to Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides wigs to children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment. Well done, Harry. Now what is Kendall Jenner going to run her hands through? Or is it Chelsea Handler ? Harry is the second teeny bopper heart throb to cut his hair in the past several days. Last week, Justin Bieber also got rid of his runaway dreadlocks , but the damaged vanilla sausages weren’t missed by fans.

Zayn Malik Confirms Release of "Dirty, Raw" Debut Single

Zayn Malik is officially a solo artist. The former One Direction member, whose departure from the beloved boy band left millions of young women in tears last March, has confirmed that his debut single will drop on January 29. It will be titled “Pillow Talk” and Malik is shirtless for the track’s official artwork. You may still hold a grudge against the guy for leaving Harry Styles and company high and dry and all… but you must admit: HUBBA. HUBBA. Based on the title of Malik’s upcoming song, it seems pretty clear just what topic it will cover (sex!), but in case some folks need it spelled out for them (S-E-X), Malik is here to be very up front about the basis for the single. “I think I’m pretty black and white what it’s about,” he told the British Sunday Times, adding: “Everybody has sex, and it’s something people wanna hear about. “It’s part of everybody’s life, a very BIG part of life! And you don’t wanna sweep it under the carpet. It has to be talked about.” And Malik is doing more than just talking about sex: he’s having it! The artist and Gigi Hadid are clearly a couple . But forget being a couple. Fans are dying to know if Malik will ever be part of a quintet again. Could he ever see himself rejoining One Direction? “I don’t know,” he told the newspaper, emphasizing than there’s no “beef” of any kind. “If the time was right and that was the thing to do, then I would make that decision when it came around.” One Direction , of course, is taking a hiatus for at least the rest of 2016. So we’ve got plenty of time to ponder a possible reunion.

Last week, Kourtney Kardashian stopped by the Ellen show and basically confirmed that Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles are dating . Now it looks like Kendall may be wishing that her big sis had held off on sharing that news with the public, as insiders are claiming that Harry’s still acting single. According to Radar Online, a 27-year-old stylist named Pandora Lennard recently spent the night at Harry’s home in London . Sources close to the situation say Harry and Pandora are longtime friends who hooked up after a night of partying over the weekend. “Everyone knew they were attracted to each other and they have been pals for a while,” says one insider. “But we didn’t think anything would happen as Harry and Kendall are officially an item. This is gobsmacking.” Reached for comment about the situation Lennard simply replied, “I have absolutely no comment to make.” Yikes. Sounds like this gloriously-coiffed couple may be over before they officially start. Rumors that they’re more than just friends began when Harry and Kendall went on vacation together  over the holidays, but neither party has spoken publicly about the relationship. Some say they’re dating, but there have also been rumors that Harry and Kendall are just hooking up . We hope that’s the case for Kendall’s sake. Watch Kris Jenner Take a Pie in the Face on KUWTK!

Oh, my. Has it come to this? In a trailer for tonight's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, sisters Kourtney and Kim quiz their mom Kris Jenner on the details of their lives. For every answer she gets incorrect, Kris receives punishment in the form of a water balloon dropped on her head or a pie in the face. What a waste of a good pie. “What's my due date?” asks a pregnant Kim.  “December the 24th,” replies Kris. WRONG! WATER BALLOON! “What's North's middle name?” “South?”  WRONG! PIE IN THE FACE! Wow. I mean, we knew the show has seen a prominent dip in ratings  this season, but resorting to hokey, outdated, Benny Hill-style slapstick has got to be a new low. After 11 years on the air, it seems they've exhausted all the ridiculous yet eyeball-grabbing storylines. Kim is now happily married with kids. Kourtney ditched the douchebag. Caitlyn Jenner's got her own show.  All that adds up to BORING. Kylie Jenner's rocky romance to D-list rapper Tyga gave the show a little boost , but it now seems like he may be out of the picture, too. I can only envision Kris and Ryan Seacrest sitting around dreaming up new plots for the failing show. Fairytale wedding? Been there. Philandering boyfriends? Done that. I know! Let's hurl soft gag props at Kris that will in turn mess up her hair and makeup! Watch the pathetic events below:
