Olive Uniacke Rumored as Danielle Radcliffe Girlfriend

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe didn’t celebrate his 21st birthday alone last month. The actor was spotted out with Olive Uniacke, the stepdaughter of David Heyman, who has produced many of the Harry Potter movies. According to a source, speaking to London’s The Daily Mail : “Olive and Dan have known each other a long time… They were close a few years ago but the relationship fizzled out then. Even so, they have always remained friends. And in the last few months they have grown closer again.” Uniacke, studied at the Gordonstoun school in Scotland, the same institution that educated Prince Charles. Moreover, this 19-year old knows how to party! “Olive is renowned for holding some of the best house parties, really great bashes,” said the insider. “She can be quite wild. She loves to drink champagne, particularly Moet, and she chain-smokes Camel cigarettes. She also loves to go nightclubbing.” This is all terrible news for Ginny Weasley, of course. How can Ron’s sister’s possibly compete with all that?!?

Daniel Radcliffe Gives Roller-Coaster Tips At ‘Harry Potter’ Theme Park

Actor names Dragon Challenge as his favorite ride in Universal’s Wizarding World. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Daniel Radcliffe at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on Wednesday Photo: Gustavo Caballero/ Getty Images Daniel Radcliffe plays the world’s most favorite wizard in the “Harry Potter” movies, but that doesn’t mean he can’t find magic in the real world. At Universal Orlando’s grand opening celebration for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the actor was particularly excited about the park’s signature roller coaster. “The Dragon Challenge roller coaster is a real standout for me,” he told MTV News of the coaster, which is actually a made-over version of an existing ride at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Radcliffe outlined his very specific procedure for riding roller coasters: “Make sure that [the harness is] really tight; you have to try to keep your eyes open and try to come out with the longest prolonged scream, and if all your hair hasn’t gone on one side of your head at the end, you haven’t done it right.” While Radcliffe was entranced by the Dragon Challenge, he was also impressed by the mind-boggling attention to detail of several parts of the Wizarding World. “Me and Rupert [Grint] stood outside Ollivander’s Wand Shop for five minutes this morning thinking we couldn’t go in. We were just impressed by the outside,” he said. But Radcliffe wasn’t as freaked out as he’d have thought about being so immersed in Harry Potter’s world but not on a movie set. “You know what, it’s not even odd. I suppose there was an element of it being odd this morning when I was walking around … [but] it’s amazing. It’s actually fantastic. “When we heard they were doing a ‘Harry Potter’ theme park, it’s one of those things where you think that can go either way,” he added. “In the wrong hands, that would not have been impressive, but these guys have just done the most bang-up, amazing job. The care and love that has gone into this park is equal to what we put into the films, and that’s what makes this very special and authentic.” What other movie or book franchise would you want to see turned into a theme park? ‘Harry Potter’ Stars Impressed By Theme Park’s ‘Total Immersion’ Experience

‘It’s not even odd,’ Daniel Radcliffe says of seeing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. By Terri Schwartz The cast of “Harry Potter” at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opening Wednesday Photo: Gustavo Caballero/ Getty Images ORLANDO, Florida — Magic was seemingly everywhere on Wednesday night, at Universal Orlando’s grand opening celebration for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter . The theme park doesn’t officially open to the public until June 18, but Universal brought in the stars of the film and conductor/composer John Williams to kick things off with a bang. Though many of the stars of the “Harry Potter” films have come to see the park over the past several months, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, James and Oliver Phelps, Bonnie Wright, Matthew Lewis and Warwick Davis were given a special tour of Wizarding World’s many attractions on Wednesday so they would be primed to speak about them. “It’s not even odd,” Radcliffe said about seeing the world he spent the past decade working on in film represented as a real place in hot and humid Orlando. “It’s absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t be more impressed.” There was some debate amongst them as to which of the three rides in Wizarding World was the best. Radcliffe and Grint said the twin roller coasters in Dragon Challenge were their favorite, while Lewis, Wright and the Phelps loved Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey . And there was an even divide over which was better: regular or frozen Butterbeer . The stars seemed most impressed by the amount of detail making Hogwarts and Hogsmeade come to life, creating an experience they couldn’t even have on the movie set. “It’s just total immersion into the world,” Lewis said. “In 100 years, it’s still going to be here. It’s a little weird for me.” “It’s kind of the beginning and ending. It’s kind of surreal,” Wright said of the park’s opening coinciding with the end of filming of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” earlier this week. “All the little memories we have, now other people can have them as well.” The actors said they loved the rides, which include two roller coasters (Flight of the Hippogriffs and Dragon Challenge) and a visual experience (Forbidden Journey). It was the first roller-coaster ride for Davis. Grint shared that his coaster-riding technique was to hold on for dear life, while Felton said that he keeps his hands in the air, screaming for his life. Radcliffe had a very specific procedure: Make sure the harness is extra tight; try to keep his eyes open for as long as possible, and make the longest, most prolonged scream possible. When he gets off, his experience isn’t complete unless all his hair is swept to one side. Though she did not speak to the press and was kept well hidden at the event, “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling did make an appearance at the grand opening. Williams conducted the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in a special presentation of the various themes he had written for the “Harry Potter” film series. In the end, the stars seemed to think Universal had left no magical stone unturned in the creation of the Wizarding World. All of them, that is, except Warwick Davis. When asked what he thinks Universal should add to the park, he responded, “Something involving Professor Flitwick. Or Griphook the goblin, perhaps.” Are you planning to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter? Tell us what you’re excited to see in the comments. ‘Harry Potter’ Clip At MTV Movie Awards Hints At Dark, Intense ‘Deathly Hallows’

Major portion of the final chapters will focus on Harry/ Voldemort relationship, footage suggests. By Kara Warner Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” Photo: Warner Bros. With every new glimpse of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” it becomes more and more apparent that the final two chapters of the Potter story will be the darkest and most intense yet. The latest clip, which debuted during the MTV Movie Awards Sunday, showed that a major portion of the first of the final two Potter films will be focused on the ominous relationship between Harry and He Who Must Not Be Named, Voldemort. It’s fitting, given that over the course of roughly a decade (seven books, soon-to-be eight films) Harry Potter has lived in the shadow of the dark wizard who killed his parents. The clip opened with the always foreboding-looking Voldemort (played by Ralph Fiennes) standing on an unknown peak, deep in evil thought. His voice is heard plotting Potter’s death, once again: “I have to be the one to kill [Harry Potter].” Cut to fast-paced imagery of Harry, Ron and Hermione at various places on their journey to track down the remaining Horcruxes and the Deathly Hallows; various action sequences that hint at the possible impending doom for our hero; an intense and emotional show-down between Harry and his best friend, Ron. Though we were hoping for a shot of the long-awaited Hermione and Ron kiss, we have to settle for the quick shot of Harry and Ginny’s romantic embrace before they part ways. While we know the studio is hesitant to reveal any spoilers for the movie, we still hoped to see a few more happy moments: Bill and Fleur’s wedding, Harry being named godfather of Lupin and Tonks’ baby, etc. What did you think of the new spot?
