It’s been more than five years since the Red Hot Chili Peppers released Stadium Arcadium, but later this month, they’ll finally return with I’m With You , their hotly anticipated new album. And obviously, this is a fairly big deal. Which is why it’s only fitting that MTV is rolling out the red carpet for RHCP, with the exclusive premiere of their video for “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie,” the first single off You. The clip will debut live on MTV and MTV2 on Wednesday, August 17, at 7:53 p.m. ET/PT. Immediately following the debut of “Maggie,” the band will sit down with MTV News for an in-depth interview, to stream live on MTV.com. And since we know you’ve been waiting a long time for this, we’re also allowing you to get in on the conversation. Fans can submit their questions (and video questions) for Anthony, Flea, Josh and Chad via Twitter, using the hashtag #AskRHCP. “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” recently rocketed to the top of Billboard’s Alternative Radio chart, giving the band their 12th #1 on Modern Rock radio (which, just in case you’re keeping score at home, is a record no one can even come close to matching). I’m With You , their 10th studio album (and first with new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer), is due in stores on August 30.
