But more importantly, I remember the late 90s….were 20 fucking years ago..and she’s probably in her 50s…but 50 or not…she’s still got her tits…and that’s an achievement – especially in this breast cancer filled world… These pics are pretty fucking boring…but what do you expect from a grandmother using social media. It wasn’t all that long ago that Ronda Rousey was considered the most dominant female MMA fighter in the world. That time has now decisively passed. Defending bantam weight champion Amanda Nunes trounced Rousey to the point that the UFC 207 title fight was stopped after just 48 seconds tonight. Nunes was widely regarded as an underdog, but Rousey never had a chance once she touched gloves with the Brazilian known to fans as the Lioness. Nunes pummeled Rousey with a barrage of jabs, putting the former champ on a defensive campaign from which she never recovered. At the 48-second mark of the first round of what was billed as the matchup of the year, the judges took mercy on Rousey and called the fight in favor of her 28-year-old opponent. A stunned Rousey kept her eyes cast to the ground as the fight was announced in favor of an opponent she had sworn to beat in her few media appearances of the past 13 months. Rousey lost the UFC bantamweight title when she was defeated by Holly Holm in November of 2015. Shortly thereafter, Holm lost the title to Miesha Tate, who later lost it to Nunes. Rousey’s comeback effort was billed by both her PR team and the UFC simply as “the return.” It seems Ronda wasn’t the only one who underestimated Amanda Nunes. Born in Brazil but trained in New Jersey and Tennessee, Nunes now boasts a record of 14-4. While a number of MMA analysts expected her to offer a formidable challenge to Rousey, few – if any – expected her to make such short work of the sport’s most recognized figure. As early as this week, Rousey was sharing chiseled selfies on Instagram in order to demonstrate that she was in the best shape of her career and send a message of intimidation to her less-celebrated opponent. It now seems that message fell on deaf ears. Rousey was open about her struggle with depression following her defeat by Holm, causing many to question if she was emotionally fit to return to the ring. The future of her career now remains uncertain. Britney Spears Pronounced Dead In Hacked Sony Twitter Hoax Britney Spears killed Tinashe’s name , and now someone has tried to kill Britney Spears. Not like, actually, but kinda. The pop icon’s record label was hacked this morning and sent out the following, Earth-shattering tweet: As one might imagine, Twitter completely lost it until it was confirmed that the “Oops, I Did It Again” singer was still drawing breath. Britney Spears is alive and well, her rep tells CNN. It appears @SonyMusicGlobal erroneously tweeted her death. Sony rep says no comment — AnneClaire Stapleton (@AnneClaireCNN) December 26, 2016 Strangely, the record label also tweeted-then-deleted a clarification of the hacking hoax via USMagazine : Both of Sony Music Global’s tweets about Spears have been removed from their Twitter account as well. The company responded to the hack in a tweet that has also been deleted: “we saw a new IP logged in to the account a few minutes ago and the tweet is posted by a new IP so @britneyspears is still alive #OurMine.” Feel better now? Trending topics on the web Sunday morning include the likes of “Daylight Savings Time,” “What Time is It?” and “Local Time.” It’s chaos out there. Fortunately, The Hollywood Gossip is here to help make sense of it all. Here’s how we got to this point and what you need to do next: Earlier this morning, for the first time since March 2015, U.S. residents (Arizona, Hawaii and P.R. excluded … lucky) set their clocks forward. By one hour exactly. Jaws? Dropping. Just breathe, people. Everybody just calm the f–k down. Mariah Carey may or may not be pregnant with Bryan Tanaka’s baby . There’s been talk going around the Internet that the singer and her backup dancer are already an item, just several days after she split from fiance James Packer. That’s up for debate. What has been confirmed, however, is that Carey and Packer were in the middle of negotiation a prenuptial agreement when they broke up. And the details of the document are a bit unusual. According to TMZ, a draft of the prenup was sent to Mariah’s camp not long before this relationship came to an end, with reps for Carey rejecting it as “tacky and insulting.” Let’s take a look at various clauses and you can see if you agree, alright? This passage was considered one of the more controversial conditions of the proposed agreement: Except for gifts between them for their engagement, wedding or on birthdays and anniversaries, no item of jewelry and/or personal adornment costing over $250,000 will be deemed a gift unless accompanied by, or promptly followed by, a writing specifically stating ‘This is my gift to you.’ Look, all marriages should spell out who gets to keep which so-called gifts valued at over $250,000, shouldn’t they? It’s only fair. Elsewhere, Packer agreed to purchase certain items clothing for the artist… … but there’s a blank space for the couple to agree upon a maximum amount he had to shell out. The document also read that this clothing would not to be used for business or performing and “Mariah shall provide all clothing for her children.” Who are we to judge another couple, we know. If Carey and Packer were happy and in love, they could include anything they want to in their prenup. But it’s pretty clear they were NOT happy and in love, especially not when we see the kinds of business-like conditions they were putting on their romance. The singer and the Australian billionaire ended their engagement in late October. The reasons why remain unclear, but insiders close to Carey have deemed Packer to be violent and mentally unstable . There’s been talk that something happened between Packer and Carey’s assistance during a vacation in Greece a few weeks back and that the stars haven’t even talked since. It’s a pretty huge mess. James Packer Dumps Mariah Carey! This was another clause in the prenup: James shall cause a credit card(s) to be issued for use by Mariah and staff … the amount of expenses … shall not exceed US $____ per calendar month. The amount was blank. And also: James shall provide the use of one private aircraft, of his selection, for Mariah’s personal use, or that of her children and nannies only when James, in his sole discretion, determines it is appropriate to do so. What was the main reason why negotiations fell apart? This provision, TMZ alleges: James will pay Mariah, and Mariah shall accept, $6 million dollars per year for each full year of marriage, up to a maximum of $30 million … adjusted pro-rata on a weekly basis [$151,385 per week]. Carey supposedly turned down this dollar amount and is now demanding a $50 million payout from Packer, one that she says he agreed to make if the marriage fell apart.
Daylight Saving Time. It’s finally here, people. Almost. In just a few short hours, it will be, and when that time comes, we will in fact save daylight, turning the clocks back FOR GOOD. Or at least until March 12, 2017 arrives. Let’s break it all down real quick here: Sunday morning (November 6), Americans will come together and turn their clocks back. The savings of time? One … entire … hour. For all you Americans looking forward to a long, dark winter and the sun setting at freaking 4:00 on the east coast, it’s a thing of beauty. Which is virtually no one ever. But whatever. Hey, at least you get an extra hour of sleep! Well, unless you have kids who have no idea what the f–k is going on and just get up after X hours of sleep like they otherwise would. Okay, scratch that too. This sucks! Anyway, Daylight Saving Time remains inherently confusing for some people for some reason, which is why is THG is here to assist. See helpful graphics above. BAM!! If that’s still not sufficient, here’s a more detailed rundown of Daylight Saving Time 2016, and what you can expect next year, to boot: Daylight Saving Time began on Sunday, March 13 at 2 a.m. Time “springs” forward in the spring (how appropriate, as shown in the diagram below) and “falls” back by one hour (above, also fitting). TIP: Set your clocks ahead an hour before you go to bed. OR stay up until 2 a.m., turn the clocks to 1 a.m., then sleep. iPhones will do this automatically. Microwaves? Not so much. If you can’t figure out how to change the effing clock in your car, don’t worry. Make a mental (or Post-It) note that it’s fast until 3/12/16. It’ll start getting dark at f–king 4:30, as we said before. S–t. The concept of Daylight Saving Time dates all the way back to 1895, when the U.S. economy was much more agriculturally-based. In recent years, the duration of DST was extended to save energy nationwide. Translation: At least it’s not October-April? Standard Time is a misnomer, as it’s a shorter chunk of the year. In 2017, Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 12 (above). Arizona, Hawaii and Puerto Rico residents: Disregard. There you go, people. In other words, it didn’t come as a huge shock when we learned that Farrah will be voting for Donald Trump . As with Trump, Farrah’s behavior might be amusing if she held zero influence over anyone else, and if there were nothing at stake. Sophia Abraham Goes OFF on Her Grandfather! Unfortunately, Farrah has a daughter, and as you can see in the above preview for this week’s episode, that daughter takes many of her behavioral cues from her profoundly disturbed mother. The clip shows Farrah’s long-suffering father, Michael Abraham, asking Sophia to help him carry some things in from the car. “Sophia I need some help, will you help me?” Michael asks, even going so far as to offer to pay the 7-year-old for a few minuted of her time. “No, I’m busy texting my friend,” Sophia replies. “You don’t need help,” she adds. Farrah eventually intervenes, but only because Sophia’s yelling is preventing her from concentrating on her “work.” We’ll leave it to you to imagine what task Farrah could be involved with that requires 100% percent of her brain power. She’s probably trying to figure out how Facebook always knows her name like that. Anyway, the matter is eventually settled entirely on Sophia’s terms, as she agrees to help her grandfather only if the adults give her exactly what she wants. It’s like watching a 7-year-old hostage negotiator at work. The episode hasn’t even aired yet, and fans are already slamming Farrah’s parenting – or lack thereof. Obviously, this is far from the first time that Farrah’s been criticized for allowing her daughter to get away with murder. Remember the time she signed Farrah up for Snapchat and she was immediately booted for messaging strangers at all hours of the night? Or how about the time Farrah talked about Sophia’s future porn career ? This feels like a good time to remind you that Sophia is seven years old!
