K2 the new Marijuana

Talking about parties, beers and cigarettes are the most common known addiction of teens but not until the recent reports that teens get addicted to. And what’s ironic, its perfectly legal. This marijuana-like substance is when smoked the equivalent effect of it is marijuana-like high. The growing demand of this substance is causing an alarming warning to health care professionals, law makers, government and Drug Enforcement Agencies.. This is called K2 or Spice. It is sold in stores and Internet in which online buying is also another market place wherein one can buy. This product is sold as one of the herbal products. It is sold in 3-gram bags. The product has a chemical same like in marijuana. Though there are some warnings being written and published, users can’t still be controlled due to its addictive effect. There is already a call to regulate K2 but it still on process. According to Dr. Gaylord, a toxicologist and head of the Georgia Poison Center,  their biggest concern as of this moment is that the particular chemical is manufactured in a dorm-setting in which the scientists involve practice low quality techniques in manufacturing such chemical. As a result, there’s a big possibility that users inhale the toxin  which they think they’re smoking in which there can be a contributing factor in the unlikely symptoms experiencing to some of its users. Sandra Bullock: Not Looking for a Divorce Lawyer

Sandra Bullock has been doing great in her career and has made several box office films. On March 7, Bullock took home Oscars 2010 Best Actress Award for her role in “The Blind Side”. A week after winning in the Oscars, Bullock had some marital problem with her husband Jesse James. Michelle McGee, a tattoo model, alleged she had an affair with Bullock’s husband while the actress was filming the movie “The Blind Side”. After the controversy spread out, Bullock left the Southern California home where she lives with James and has cancelled her trips abroad to promote “The Blind Side.” Despite this issue, Sandra Bullock has not been seeking a divorce lawyer, same as true with her husband Jesse James. A rumor spreads that the actress’ representative had been in touch with some famous divorce lawyers, while James’ representative had also contacted several lawyers, just in case Bullock will file for a divorce after the reported infidelity of her husband. Both parties cleared this matter that they haven’t sought any divorce lawyers. Neither Bullock nor her representative have contacted for divorce lawyers. Evan Lysacek: Rehearsal Before Rocking the Ballroom

On Monday night, the Dancing with the Stars Season 10 had its premier and eleven celebrities competed. One of them was Even Lysacek, a 24-year-old champion in figure skating. Evan is hoping to gain a mirror ball trophy to his collection of awards. Right after winning a gold medal at the Vancouver Olympics, the champion still wanted to compete in a different field and now, he’s one of the celebrity contestants in Dancing with the Stars. Evan is paired with Anna Trebunskaya. They have started their rehearsals right after he came back from Vancouver. First week was the most tiring because he just arrived from the Olympics. He was disappointed and discourage for he have never thought that dancing is far more different from skating. There were some areas where they have to develop and improve a lot. First would be the posture because skating and dancing have different postures. In dancing, you always stand and lean back whereas in skating you always lean forward over the ball of your foot. In skating, you only need to rotate one way; however, in dancing it is different, you can go in any direction. There were instances when Anna holds Evan’s head while they were dancing, because as a skater, Evan would naturally turn in the opposite direction. Premier of Dancing with the Stars

Monday, March 22, eleven new celebrities together with their pro partners performed in the Dancing with the Stars. On the ballroom, they performed the cha cha cha or the Viennese waltz. The couple who took the early lead, gathering 25 points out of 30 points from the judges was Pop star Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough. Evan Lysacek, Olympic champion figure skater, and Anna Trebunskaya earned 23 points. Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa got only 14 points. Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska got a score of 15 points. Kate Gosselin, reality TV star, and Tony Dovolani earned not only the score of 16 points but also some unpleasing critiques from the judges. This is just the beginning and the scores given by the judges are only part of the equation. America’s votes are also important because it will be added up to the judges’ score. Three Water Types exist in Moon

For the previous years, scientists have been observing the rocky neighbor of earth, the moon and they thought it’s just plain rock with no water until last year. Last year, scientists discovered unexpectedly the existence of the water in the moon and it comes with different types or shall we say, flavor. According to Paul Spudis of the Lunar and Planetary Institute in Houston, Texas, so far they have found three types of moon water. And so far, they have identified,  Mini-SAR’s thick lenses of nearly pure crater ice, LCROSS’s fluffy mix of ice crystals and dirt, and M-cube’s thin layer that comes and goes all across the surface of the moon. The discovery of such different types of water was in accordance with the different satellite used. Miniature Synthetic Aperture Radar (Mini-SAR) found 40 small craters with the size of 2-15km in diameter with water ice located at their base. These craters are not visible to earth. The Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) slammed into the moon and found water in another crater. Mineralogy Mapper (M3) detected wavelengths of light reflected off the surface that indicated the chemical bond between hydrogen and oxygen — the telltale sign of either water or hydroxyl. It has been observed by scientists that some craters contain pure ice and some contain with mix soil and for the reason? That has yet to be discovered by the researchers.
